We are looking for a School Partnerships Lead to drive the growth of our school and multi-academy trust (MAT) partnerships.
About the role
This is a school-focused business development and sales role with real ownership and autonomy. You will:
Generate new school and MAT leads through proactive outreach, networks, referrals and relationship building.
Manage a sales pipeline and use our CRM to track opportunities, activity and forecasts.
Lead discovery conversations to understand schools' needs and identify where Khulisa can add value.
Develop and deliver compelling pitches, proposals and partnership offers.
Manage opportunities from initial contact through to conversion, working towards agreed income and partnership targets.
Plan and deliver targeted sales and lead-generation initiatives, including webinars, outreach campaigns and conferences.
Work with senior colleagues to build strong relationships with school and MAT stakeholders and identify opportunities for repeat and longer-term partnerships.
For a full list of duties and responsibilities, please see the attached job description when you click the apply button.
This is a hybrid role. The post holder will be able to work from home or from our London office, but must be available for regular travel to schools, events and other stakeholder meetings across London and the North West of England.

We're looking for someone with experience in business development, sales or partnerships, who enjoys building relationships and turning opportunities into results.
You'll be:
Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
An excellent communicator and presenter.
Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working towards targets.
Highly organised, with experience managing a pipeline and CRM.
Collaborative, while able to work independently and take ownership.
Motivated by Khulisa's mission and improving outcomes for young people.
Experience selling to schools, MATs or other education organisations would be particularly valuable. Experience in a charity, social enterprise or other purpose-led organisation would also be an advantage.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: We are actively looking to recruit a diversity of talent. We embrace, respect and value the difference in our employees and believe that we and our work is better for it. We are committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive environment that consists of fairness, dignity, and caring for everyone, and one that enables every employee to flourish and realise their potential.
Why Khulisa?
This is a great opportunity to join a small, ambitious charity where you can make a real difference and see the impact of your work.
You'll have a high level of autonomy to shape your approach, develop new opportunities and take ownership of your targets and relationships. We also offer flexible working around our core hours of 10am-4pm, helping colleagues balance work with other commitments.
You'll work closely with senior colleagues and play an important role in shaping the future growth of Khulisa.
To apply, please submit your CV and a supporting statement, both of which should be no more than two pages, outlining your relevant experience and why you'd like to join Khulisa.

The first will focus on your experience and competencies; the second will include a short sales pitch task followed by questions around values, working style and motivation. Full details will be shared with shortlisted candidates. Interviews will be held the week commencing the 12th October.
