We are seeking an excellent qualified accountant to join our Financial Planning and Reporting team, as a Finance Business Partner, supporting colleagues in the UK Countries Directorate more specifically for England (though you do not need to live in England). This is a key role working directly with our conservation delivery and our reserves network areas, all with individual characteristics and skills requirements.
What's the role about?
As a Finance Business Partner you will work proactively with senior colleagues to provide an added-value service of financial support to our UK Countries Directorate. In addition to a strong management accounting background, you will understand the difference that can be made through strong business partnering relationships and be confident in building those relationships. You will gain the respect and confidence of the colleagues you support through strong communication skills (written and oral) and your ability to constructively challenge ideas and plans. You will add value through gaining an intimate understanding of the Directorate that you partner, together with contributing to business performance and the requirements of the finance function with the charity's need.
You will be a fully qualified accountant with up-to-date technical knowledge and a desire to progress in your profession. We will want the successful candidate to influence change and use their skill set to further drive the organisation's objectives forward. You will also be comfortable working under pressure, to tight deadlines, and interacting with people at all levels within the RSPB.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
We're looking for a qualified finance professional who can bring strong business partnering skills and transferable experience to the role. Experience of financial forecasting, organisational change, coaching non-financial colleagues, annual accounts preparation or working within the charity sector would be beneficial. About you and the role
This is a pivotal role, at a pivotal moment for us. We are entering a critical growth phase, which includes rapidly expanding our own operations and managing significant external partnership. As Head of Finance & Systems, you will be accountable for ensuring we have the right systems and structures in place to grow at pace without detriment to good governance.

We’re looking for an experienced finance professional with an interest in effectively using technology and systems to drive efficiency, without compromising on accuracy or compliance.
You will oversee all financial administration, ensuring this is carried out proficiently and in line with all legal and regulatory requirements, including ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all statutory filings are made accurately and on time. Constantly seeking to develop and improve the organisation’s financial systems, policies and procedures to promote dynamic, best practice and up-to-date application of tools, systems and approaches
Supporting the organisation’s data governance by ensuring financial systems (e.g., Quickbooks, payroll, expenses) are secure, compliant, and integrated in line with data protection principles.

Essential Skills & experience:
Charity Finance Experience: Practical, senior-level experience working within a UK non-profit finance function, including a strong working knowledge of the Charities SORP and accounting for restricted vs. unrestricted funds.
Hands-on Management Accounting: Proven experience independently producing monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis from scratch.
End-to-End Audit Management: Experience preparing year-end audit files, reconciling balance sheet control accounts, and acts as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
Accountancy Qualification: Full or partial qualification through an accredited body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIPFA).
Tech Literacy & Data Reconciliation: Comfortable troubleshooting and navigating modern finance tech stacks (e.g., Xero, Pleo) and pulling financial data/reports from a CRM system (e.g., Beacon).
Vendor & Staff Management: Experience supervising junior staff (or office managers) and actively managing the performance, timelines, and accuracy of outsourced providers (e.g., bookkeeping and payroll).
Desirable skills & experience
Systems Implementation: Past experience project-managing a software migration or building native integrations/automations between a CRM system and accounting software.
Broader Operations/HR Exposure: Basic familiarity with HR administration, GDPR workflows, or managing organizational risk registers in a small team environment.

The Head of Corporate Partnerships is accountable for delivering substantial and sustained income growth from the private sector, with clear ownership of income targets, pipeline strength and conversion performance.

Office management and administration

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are now recruiting an IPS Employment Advisor to join our Connect to Work service across Enfield. This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week, following the principles of the IPS model to support people into paid employment.
This role is specific to being co-located on site with probation services within Enfield. Candidates must be willing to undergo a vetting form including digital ID verification technology, right to work checks, proof of identity, proof of address and a DBS. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate with need to include contact details for prior workplaces and personal references.
Previous experience/understanding of probation services and MAPPA restrictions are essential to the role.

If you were working with us, your days would be varied and people-centred. You would manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs, people experiencing homelessness, and people with offending histories, offering one-to-one support to help them secure and sustain employment that matches their preferences.
You would provide person-centred guidance using the IPS approach (training is provided), helping clients build confidence, prepare for work, and navigate challenges that may arise. A key part of the role involves engaging employers, promoting the value of our service, and identifying suitable job opportunities.

Role Requirements
As the House Coordinator, you will have direct contact with children and their families, often during challenging times. This role therefore requires a level of empathy and the ability to communicate effectively in emotionally charged situations, which is not typically expected of other administrative roles within the organisation.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

About Us
The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

This role sits at the intersection of climate advocacy and financial systems change. Working across campaigns focused on agricultural methane, deforestation and nature, you engage with investors, financial institutions, regulators and corporate stakeholders to drive meaningful environmental progress.
You'll contribute to advocacy campaigns, develop partnerships, produce research and briefings, engage with shareholder and investor groups, and identify opportunities to influence policy and regulation.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate may come from sustainable finance, responsible investment, policy, public affairs, ESG, advocacy or financial regulation. We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Experience in sustainable finance, stewardship, corporate accountability or environmental campaigning would be particularly valuable.
