About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are now recruiting for a role providing focused, time-limited information, advice and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, supporting them to return to, remain in, or move towards employment, with a particular focus on engaging those facing multiple and intersecting barriers to work.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week.
What you’ll be doing

- Managing a varied caseload of clients, providing tailored information, advice and guidance to support their employment goals
- Working collaboratively with clients to identify their individual needs and the level of support required
- Developing clear, realistic Action Plans with clients, and reviewing these regularly to reflect progress and changing circumstances
- Supporting clients to address workplace challenges, helping them to return to work, remain in employment, or secure new roles
- Monitoring and tracking progress towards agreed employment outcomes, ensuring support remains focused and effective
- Enabling access to wider opportunities such as training, education, volunteering and other development pathways
- Making appropriate referrals to external services and partner organisations to ensure holistic support for clients

The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with partner organisations, supporting firms throughout their participation in the Suicide Prevention Action Lab (SPAL) programme, and ensuring they remain motivated, accountable, and on track to deliver their commitments.
We’re bringing together six representatives from financial services firms to explore ways to improve support for customers experiencing suicidality. The Partnerships Officer will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the SPAL, working closely with participating firms to assist them in developing, testing, and implementing practical changes to help prevent suicidality.
The Partnerships Officer will manage relationships with multiple firms simultaneously, each at a different stage in their journey to testing and embedding new and improved approaches to identifying and supporting customers experiencing or at risk of suicidality. Success in the role requires excellent organisation, persistence, and relationship management skills, alongside the ability to understand the challenges and competing demands faced by participating firms and to support them in maintaining momentum and delivering results.

Key tasks in the role will include:
- Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for participating firms, building strong and productive relationships throughout their involvement in the SPAL. Coordinating and supporting consultancy and coaching meetings with participating firms.
- Developing and maintaining a strong working knowledge of emerging Action Lab research insights. Applying research insights in discussions with firms, supporting them in translating evidence into new or improved tools, processes and communications.
- Supporting a portfolio of firm representatives simultaneously, ensuring each remains engaged, motivated and on track to deliver against agreed objectives and milestones.
- Developing a strong understanding of participating firms' priorities, pressures and operational realities, using this insight to provide effective support.
- Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders beyond participating firms, and developing strong internal relationships, proactively sharing insights and intelligence from Action Labs to maximise our organisational impact.
- Identifying opportunities to raise the profile of the Action Lab research-to-impact model, including relevant conferences, speaking opportunities and awards.

We are now recruiting IPS Employment Advisors to join our IPS service to join our Kingston & Sutton team. This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week, following the principles of the IPS model to support people into paid employment.
What you’ll be doing
If you were working with us, your days would be varied and people-centred. You would manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs, people experiencing homelessness, and people with offending histories, offering one-to-one support to help them secure and sustain employment that matches their preferences.
You would provide person-centred guidance using the IPS approach (training is provided), helping clients build confidence, prepare for work, and navigate challenges that may arise. A key part of the role involves engaging employers, promoting the value of our service, and identifying suitable job opportunities.
You would work closely with NHS clinical teams, contributing to an integrated approach to recovery through employment. This includes attending team meetings, coordinating support, and maintaining clear, client-led communication. The role also involves working to agreed targets while maintaining a high-quality, supportive service.

Purpose of the Job
Physical health and mental health are inextricably linked. The purpose of this role is to support people who have significant mental health issues and those from diverse ethnic backgrounds who may face barriers in accessing physical health checks. The role will provide longer term support in some cases, so people can address some of the barriers which might be in the way for them to consider their physical health positively. The roles will provide a service across Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow.
The role will be delivered within Primary Care and therefore you will be expected to build relationships within those settings and with community VCSE organisations to ensure that the service supports people within their own communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Get to know and build relationships with staff within Primary Care to enable a supportive and productive referral route into and out of the service.
- Work within communities and Primary Care to find out what services are available for people to access.
- Build relationships with staff in Primary Care, VCSE organisations, local communities that don’t access services and local community health teams.
- Build relationships with those who are accessing the service and work in a person-centred way to find out their needs. Particularly working to engage people from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
- Build an accessible route into the service for people which will lead to an increase in physical health checks and longer-term support if needed.
- Be inclusive and make reasonable adjustments where necessary, i.e., interpreters, Easy Read literature, disability accessible buildings for meetings, etc.
- Conduct basic physical health checks following robust training from health professionals.
- Support people in connecting to other services both VCSE and Primary Care.
- Alert Primary Care staff and the local authority/mental health teams if there are any concerns that have not already been identified.
- Signpost and refer clients to other services during and after the intervention.
- Promote health education and the service across the borough.
- Input monitoring information to the Service Manager.

We’re currently recruiting two full-time qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) to work directly with young people in our Mental Health Support Team (MHST). For this post you need to have successfully completed the Education Mental Health Practitioner Post Graduate Diploma. Responsibilities include offering CBT based self-guided mental health interventions to primary and secondary aged children and young people and their families. This involves individual and group-based support as well as supporting schools to implement a whole school approach.
