Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence has been supporting victims and survivors of sexual abuse since 1994, and today provides a range of services to anyone in Derbyshire or Derby City who has experienced sexual abuse, assault or violence, including friends and family members. We support people irrespective of age, gender or when the abuse occurred.

We're looking for A highly motivated Ch-ISVA to work across Derbyshire. The role will support people aged 13+ and over including adults who have experienced sexual abuse or rape at any point. The successful candidate with join our friendly, professional and passionate team, working across Derbyshire remotely and in person.

• At least one year’s experience in managing complex client cases

• Experience of building relationships with partner services and other professionals

The Senior Programme Manager will be responsible for  managing  FFRP, a London wide programme that supports families on low income to access good quality, free and independent advice, in order to prevent or alleviate financial hardship. About the role

In this key position, you will shape our online campaigns to improve the lives of women as you create website and social media content and manage community engagement. You can expect different challenges every day: implementing and monitoring advertising, updating digital guidance and training materials, and creating inspiring content that amplifies women’s voices and stories. We will look to you to identify opportunities to create conversations and showcase our members’ achievements, whilst building volunteers’ confidence to make digital contributions, so you will be central to our campaigning presence and mission.

Location: Hybrid, with one day a week at our London office.

About you

A creative and enthusiastic digital storyteller, you will be a true team player with demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Creating website and social media content should naturally be second nature to you, and you will be fully familiar with creating reports based on analytical data and using a CMS and Google Analytics or similar reporting tools.

Exposure to an Enterprise CMS (Squiz Matrix, Sitecore, Umbraco) and social media tools (such as Sprout Social) would be an advantage, alongside formal certification in digital marketing, social media, analytics, content creation, UX or accessibility. Finally, you will ideally have a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, some design and video editing skills, and a good understanding of digital advertising tools and campaign optimisation.

About you and the role

This is a pivotal role, at a pivotal moment for us. We are entering a critical growth phase, which includes rapidly expanding our own operations and managing significant external partnership. As Head of Finance & Systems, you will be accountable for ensuring we have the right systems and structures in place to grow at pace without detriment to good governance.

The purpose of this role is to lead on our finance strategy, and ensure all of our systems, reporting and processes are helping to drive forward the charity and deliver on our objectives at scale. You will work closely with the Chief Executive and Directors to ensure that financial planning is effective and supported by accurate data analysis. You will report directly to Trustees as required and ensure that the highest standards of transparency and probity are maintained. 

You will be joining the team during a period of growth in the size and complexity of our delivery. We currently have 24 employees and anticipate growing significantly in the next twelve months. You will have a crucial role in shaping our systems and processes to ensure we can scale effectively, both our existing programmes and a new membership-based programme that is in development. We’re looking for an experienced finance professional with an interest in effectively using technology and systems to drive efficiency, without compromising on accuracy or compliance. 

You will oversee all financial administration, ensuring this is carried out proficiently and in line with all legal and regulatory requirements, including ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all statutory filings are made accurately and on time. Your role will also encompass ensuring that we operate within legal & regulatory frameworks and stay up to date with changes in relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing a comprehensive financial strategy that supports the delivery of the charity’s objectives and activities.

• Have ultimate oversight of the external audit and production of the statutory accounts, supported in delivery of this by the book-keeper.

• Produce the monthly management accounts and bespoke financial reports—including accurate forecasting, restricted fund tracking, and variance analysis—ensuring decision-makers have clear, actionable data.

• Forecasting cash flow and managing the treasury position.

• Manage the contract and performance of the bookkeeper  and outsourced payroll providers; setting strict monthly closing deadlines, enforcing data accuracy, and ensuring they deliver a clean trial balance for management accounting.

• Oversee sound financial administration, management and governance across the organisation, ensuring robust financial controls in place and operating effectively.

• Provide leadership and guidance to all things finance related, providing mentoring and support to the team, and coaching on financial awareness. 

• Accountability for monitoring that the organisation’s services are, and will, run to budget, supporting budget holders and reporting promptly on risks 

• Support the Partnerships & Impact team and Programme Managers with financial inputs to funding proposals and ensure restricted funds are used in compliance with grant conditions.

• Developing our systems strategy, including reviewing suitability of our current systems (Quickbooks for accountancy, Beacon CRM, PLEO for expenses management, Survey Monkey for data collection etc. ) and ensuring optimal use of systems, maximising automation, and using AI where appropriate.

• Constantly seeking to develop and improve the organisation’s financial systems, policies and procedures to promote dynamic, best practice and up-to-date application of tools, systems and approaches

• Supporting the organisation’s data governance by ensuring financial systems (e.g., Quickbooks, payroll, expenses) are secure, compliant, and integrated in line with data protection principles.

• Leading an effective risk management process.

• Ensuring the organisation’s compliance with charity law, in accordance with the Charity Commission in England & Wales and all financial reporting requirements.

Essential Skills & experience:

• Charity Finance Experience: Practical, senior-level experience working within a UK non-profit finance function, including a strong working knowledge of the Charities SORP and accounting for restricted vs. unrestricted funds.

• Hands-on Management Accounting: Proven experience independently producing monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis from scratch.

• End-to-End Audit Management: Experience preparing year-end audit files, reconciling balance sheet control accounts, and acts as the primary point of contact for external auditors.

• Accountancy Qualification: Full or partial qualification through an accredited body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIPFA). 

• Tech Literacy & Data Reconciliation: Comfortable troubleshooting and navigating modern finance tech stacks (e.g., Xero, Pleo) and pulling financial data/reports from a CRM system (e.g., Beacon).

• Vendor & Staff Management: Experience supervising junior staff (or office managers) and actively managing the performance, timelines, and accuracy of outsourced providers (e.g., bookkeeping and payroll).

Desirable skills & experience

• Systems Implementation: Past experience project-managing a software migration or building native integrations/automations between a CRM system and accounting software.

• Broader Operations/HR Exposure: Basic familiarity with HR administration, GDPR workflows, or managing organizational risk registers in a small team environment.

• Sector Passion: A demonstrable interest in food education, children’s health, or food systems.

About you and the role

As our Digital Manager, you will be the strategic anchor, quality guardian, and operational driving force behind our online presence. You will fully own the performance of our two primary websites: the main Chefs in Schools (CIS) platform and the complex, public-facing School Food Project (SFP) national resource and coalition hub. You will be directly accountable for driving traffic, mastering SEO, maintaining exceptional content quality, and ensuring a seamless, highly secure user experience against clear, measurable targets.

This is a leadership role that bridges technical execution and creative strategy. You will act as the crucial, confident link between our external technical agencies (who build and maintain the infrastructure of the sites) and our internal content creators and programme teams. Crucially, you will be an empowering manager, leading a dedicated digital sub-team of 1-2 direct reports, supporting them to manage day-to-day content workflows, e-learning administration, and community moderation.

We are looking for someone solutions-focused, collaborative, and deeply analytical who takes pride in helping a high-profile, mission-driven organization run at its absolute best.

Key responsibilities:

1. Website Ownership & Performance Management

• Own the overarching strategy and performance of our two flagship websites (CIS and SFP), optimizing UX and UI for user journeys, design, and maximum accessibility standards across both sites.

• Own and maintain a forward-looking, prioritized digital platform roadmap, striking a strategic balance between long-term feature development and agile, day-to-day reactive requests

• Ensure both platforms—particularly the highly visible, national School Food Project website—maintain the highest standards of data security, uptime, quality assurance, and accessibility, proactively managing risks associated with public scrutiny.

• Take end-to-end ownership of web analytics and data integrity—from configuring custom event tracking to reporting on performance—utilizing Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for quantitative metrics and Microsoft Clarity for behavioral insights.

• Set, monitor, and report against clear performance targets spanning web traffic, user engagement, resource downloads, and search rankings.

• Lead content and platform feature reviews through a risk mitigation lens—ensuring strict compliance with safeguarding, privacy, and coalition guidelines—while running targeted A/B tests to optimize user experience.

• Lead on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy to maximize organic reach and connect school leaders, chefs, and partners to our resources.

• Establish and manage digital incident response protocols, defining clear workflows for first responders, triage steps, and escalation pathways in the event of site outages, technical bugs, or security breaches.

2. Agency & Supplier Management

• Act as the primary, confident technical interface with our external web development agencies and tech suppliers, holding them accountable to high-quality delivery.

• Translate internal program, comms, and membership goals into clear technical design briefs, managing timelines and tracking project budgets.

• Coordinate rigorous testing of new features, bug logging, and site maintenance to guarantee absolute platform stability before public deployments.

3. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Line manage, mentor, and support 1-2 direct reports (including roles focused on systems, community moderation, and resource uploads).

• Work closely with the Communications team, External Relations team and Programme Leads to align digital development with broader organization campaigns and resource rollouts.

• Oversee the content calendar and governance for both sites, ensuring all published assets strictly adhere to brand tone of voice and quality standards, working closely with the senior social media officer, engagement team to ensure cross org planning .

4. Data, CRM & Systems Integration

• Oversee the data integrity and smooth technical flow between our website frontends, e-learning platform (LMS), and internal CRM systems.

• Ensure all digital systems, data tracking, user permissions, and marketing platforms comply fully with GDPR and organizational data protection policies.

• Construct and present scannable dashboards and reports (using Google Analytics and CRM data) for the Senior Leadership Team and stakeholders to demonstrate impact.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Digital Product & Platform Leadership: Proven experience managing digital products, websites, or online platforms—ideally at a Manager level within a charity, agency, or fast-paced setting.

• Complex Systems Integration: Strong confidence managing (or partnering with a technical agency to manage) integrated digital environments where the CMS, CRM, and LMS operate as a unified platform. You must be comfortable understanding and troubleshooting multi-layered user access permissions (e.g., tailored journeys for different school types and member tiers).

• Foundational literacy in HTML and CSS to troubleshoot layout issues, understand site structure, and effectively translate technical requirements to developers.

• Agency & Project Management: Confident experience collaborating with, briefing, and managing external technical partners, developers, or freelance technical staff to deliver complex features on time and on budget.

• People Management: Demonstrable experience managing, mentoring, and developing direct reports, fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment.

• Data Fluency & Quality Control: Ability to analyze, clean, and visualize data (using Google Analytics, CRM reporting, or spreadsheets) to monitor site performance, ensure data integrity across system integrations, and drive user experience improvements.

• Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex "technical speak" for non-expert internal staff, write brand-aligned content, and build strong cross-team relationships.

Role Description

The COO is the Cathedral’s principal member of staff and has responsibility for the overall operational performance and administration of the organisation, its assets and its people. Appointed by the Chapter and accountable to them through the Dean, the COO works with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop and implement strategy and policy, ensure effective governance and compliance, manage the business functions of the Cathedral and monitor its overall progress and development.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Trusts & Foundations Manager role is a hybrid position for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity, which is the official charity of Good Hope Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Solihull Hospital and Community Services.

The Trusts & Foundations Manager will work closely with other members of the hospital charity, providing support to the fundraising team and the Charity overall.

Working as part of a team, the person in this role will have specific responsibility for researching and applying to grant-making trusts and foundations and identifying where the work of the charity meets the application criteria. 

They will write or complete applications and build relationships with existing and potential funders. They will also be responsible for managing members of the team who are currently applying to Trusts and Foundations and supporting them with their applications. The Manager is also responsible for the Trusts and Foundations database and building on this. 

This role would suit an experienced fundraiser looking to move into a management role, or a Fundraising Manager looking for an exciting opportunity at a hospital charity.

MAIN DUTIES

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Research trusts, foundations, and grant funding bodies to identify those where the application criteria match elements of the work of University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) Charity.
• Prepare, write and submit a portfolio of persuasive Grant & Trust applications.
• Research and collate information and/or data required to make applications to trusts, foundations, and grant funding bodies, providing them with compelling cases of support.
• Establish and manage long term, effective and profitable relationships with existing and prospective funders by providing excellent donor and supporter care.
• Increase the pool of potential funders by using Trusts and Foundations sector knowledge and scoping of the funding landscape to identify new trust funders and increase opportunities for generating new income.

JOB SUMMARY

This role is primarily based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, with the expectation of occasional travel to other hospital sites.

This post is within the Fundraising Team at University Hospitals Birmingham Charity, which is the official charity of Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, Solihull Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

This is a new role within the Charity Team. In this role, you will be a crucial part in ensuring that all legacies to the charity are administered in a timely and sensitive manner, maintaining and building great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a Programme Officer to join our team to support and manage the delivery of our programmes. You’ll report to our Senior Programme Officer and work closely with our programmes team to coordinate and deliver high-quality employability programmes, manage volunteers, and support our young people. This role is an opportunity to add both delivery capacity and complementary expertise to our team as we grow.

In the role, you’ll be working on:

• Programme Management.
  • Once you’ve learned the ropes, you’ll move on to end-to-end management of programme delivery. This includes workshop development, supporting programme recruitment, operations and logistics, and working closely with volunteers and partners to ensure that programme delivery is impactful.
  • You’ll start by supporting existing programmes team members and, over time, take on responsibility for leading on cohorts, while supporting colleagues with delivery across our programmes.
  • You’ll need to be able to combine strong delivery with solid preparation behind the scenes, while thinking carefully about both participant experience and the operational detail needed to deliver high-quality programme activities.
  • You’ll also help collect and interpret data, reflect on feedback, and contribute to improving our programmes over time.
• Volunteer Management.
  • You’ll help recruit, onboard, and support our volunteers, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience for the assessors, mentors, and facilitators who work with us.
  • You’ll help create a positive and engaging volunteer experience by building strong relationships with our volunteers through regular check-ins, community touch-points, and thoughtful communication.
  • You’ll also support the coordination and administration involved in volunteer management, helping volunteers understand what’s needed and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes.
• Stakeholder Engagement.
  • Your role will include stakeholder engagement at all levels, from scheduling volunteering days with corporate partners, to checking in with employer partners about how our young people are doing on their placements and supporting youth engagement and outreach.
• Support to Young People.
  • A large part of your role is to provide direct support to young people through regular 1:1 check-ins, taking the time to get to know them and their goals so that you can signpost tailored support, opportunities, and resources.
  • You’ll also use tools like email and Slack to keep young people informed, share opportunities and resources, and help build a sense of community throughout their time on the programme.
  • You don’t need previous experience of helping young people navigate the jobs market, as we can support you to build your knowledge and understanding of best practice.
• Facilitation.
  • You’ll design and deliver training for the young people on our programmes, as well as information sessions and training for our corporate partners and volunteers.
  • We’re looking for someone who is confident facilitating sessions, or motivated to continue developing their facilitation skills, with support from the team.

What we're looking for

We’re not necessarily looking for one particular professional background, and you don’t need to have a degree. However, we’d be especially interested in candidates who can bring relevant experience or strengths in areas that deepen our team’s existing offer, such as community outreach, volunteer management, programme management, or monitoring and evaluation.

This is not an entry-level role, and we are looking for someone who can bring some professional experience and apply sound judgement in a fast-moving environment.

  • You’ll communicate with everyone from young people to corporate partners, so you’ll need strong written and verbal communication skills. As this role will involve providing feedback on CVs, job applications, and cover letters, strong written English and attention to detail are important.
  • You should be comfortable facilitating sessions or feel motivated to build your confidence in this area.
• Relationship building.
  • We’re looking for someone who is comfortable building relationships with a wide range of people (including partners and volunteers) and representing the organisation in a warm and professional way.
  • We’d particularly value someone who can bring confidence or experience in external relationship-building and community outreach.
  • Many of the young people we work with have experienced substantial barriers to work, education, or other areas of their lives. We’re looking for someone who can build trusting relationships with young people and who approaches others with empathy, warmth, and good judgement.
• Resilience and a growth mindset.
  • Adaptability and perseverance are crucial to the success of the young people on our programme, and it’s important that our team models these behaviours too.
  • We need someone who can operate well in uncertainty, learn as they go, and stay motivated through challenges.
• Commitment to our mission.
  • You don’t need experience in the early careers, youth, or education sector. However, we do expect the successful candidate to show a clear understanding of and commitment to our mission, and a genuine desire to help drive our work forward.

• Full time (37.5 hours per week)
• Permanent contract
• Target start date: 12 October 2026
• Salary: £33,280 annually with 4% employer pension contribution.
• Hybrid (London), 3 days a week in-person with the team at GoodWork HQ, Warren Street.
• 25 days holiday per year (pro rated), plus Bank Holidays and additional leave during our annual Winter Break between Christmas and New Year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, review, and migrate content for the new website, ensuring clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
• optimise web content for search engines, including metadata, headings, and internal links.
• Build, format, and publish web pages within a content management system, ensuring accessibility and responsive design.
