Job summary
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team to create, deliver and analyse integrated marketing plans that utilise the full marketing mix to extend the reach and maximize the sales of BookTrust’s traded reading programmes to schools.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for using data and insight to develop and deliver marketing activity to support a wide range of BookTrust campaigns, events and initiatives to meet our ambitious targets. You’ll establish an ongoing evaluation process and utilise sector and customer insight to continually improve our marketing.
Experience of working across multiple campaigns in an agile way and prioritising your workload effectively is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a breadth of marketing skills and experience and a proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues across the charity to deliver marketing campaigns and activity to a consistently high standard.
The successful candidate must have at least three years of marketing experience, have previously worked in a B2B, traded and/or commercial marketing role at a similar level including people management experience.

Grants and Fundraising Advisor
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Fundraising Adviser to support parishes in securing funding for projects to improve and repair their church buildings.
This is an exciting hybrid working opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the care, preservation, and future development of church buildings across the diocese.

About the Role
Working closely with the Church Buildings Team, Archdeacons, Parish Support, and external partners, you will play a key role in helping parishes achieve successful capital projects that strengthen mission, heritage engagement, and community use.
Main duties include:
- Provide expert advice on fundraising for church buildings and capital projects.
- Support parishes in identifying grant sources and preparing strong applications.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of grant making organisations.
- Give strategic guidance on fundraising approaches and income generation.
- Attend DAC site visits and meetings to advise on funding options.
- Build relationships with key funders including the Heritage Lottery Fund and National Churches Trust.
- Communicate funding news, deadlines and opportunities via diocesan channels.
- Organise and deliver training events and workshops.

We are looking for someone who is confident in identifying funding sources and advising on grant applications and has experience of fundraising for capital projects.

About The Role

Reporting to the Project Lead, the Account Management Officer will manage relationships with STEM Learning’s valued funders while working to ambitious targets, ensuring they have an exceptional experience. Please note that this is a 12-month FTC maternity cover role.

About the role
Key responsibilities for the Account Management Officer role include:
- Stewardship of Funders: Manage and streamline communications with STEM Learning’s growing group of funders.
- Creative Engagement: Develop innovative ways to engage with funders, including strategic partnerships, commercial activities, and employee engagement through the STEM Ambassadors programme.
- Effective Communication: Correspond with funders using creative and engaging methods.
- Creating “Wow” Moments: Build personal connections between funders and STEM Learning’s mission.
- Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure effective partnership delivery.
- Impact Evidence: Leverage STEM Learning’s impact evidence and collaborate with the Evaluation Team.

About you and the role
This role will initially support the set up and roll out of a national school food resource hub, supporting the creation of resources for the platform, working closely with internal teams and external partners. With the hub still in development, you will be joining at a crucial point to help shape what goes live, how it looks and sounds, and how useful it is for the people we most want to reach.
Our aim is that schools and the wider school food community can quickly find practical, trusted resources that help them improve food in schools. That might be a headteacher looking for a simple starting point, a school chef wanting a clear guide to implement new practices, or a teacher looking to introduce food education.
Your role will focus on creating and maintaining high quality resources for the hub. You will turn ideas, evidence, and stories into clear content in different formats, including short one to two pagers, multi-page guides, videos, photographs and interactive resources. You will adapt your writing and framing to different audiences, keeping content aligned with brand guidelines.
This role sits within our comms team but works closely with our school transformation and membership teams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and develop content, including supporting interviews and capturing case studies. Events Fundraising Officer
We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

Job Summary for Events Fundraising Officer
We’re seeking an experienced Events Fundraising Officer to work on delivering our UK wide portfolio of challenge events. You’ll be passionate about working in events fundraising and enjoy being part of a busy team. This role sits in the Events team within the Public Fundraising department, generating over £1 million of income. The Events Fundraising Officer will play a key part in our exciting plans to grow this area of fundraising.

The role is managed by the Senior Events Fundraising Officer and other key relationships are with the wider Public Fundraising team, Marketing and Communications, Data and IT, Finance teams and external agency partners.
Main responsibilities
Project management
· Support the Senior Events Fundraising Officer in managing, delivering, and evaluating a range of fundraising events covering running, cycling and UK challenge events
· Manage events in the portfolio for example Great North Run, Ultra Challenge Series treks
· Regularly report on agreed KPIs
· Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure fundraising events are effectively promoted
· Develop and maintain excellent relationships across the organisation to ensure projects are executed effectively, on time and to budget
· To prepare and present event evaluation reports
Supporter care and stewardship
· Write and develop effective stewardship journeys, using engaging copy to ensure income targets are hit, average gifts are increased, and supporter conversion and retention rates are improved
