Job description

he Talent Set is working with an established charity to recruit a Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of its corporate partnerships: bringing in new, high-value support while making sure existing partners feel valued, engaged and proud to be involved.

As part of the fundraising team, you’ll co-lead the corporate partnerships strategy, combining strategic thinking with hands-on relationship management. Around 50–60% of the role is forward-facing, meeting partners and colleagues to build engagement and inspire fundraising activity. Staff engagement is also important to developing successful partnerships and bids.

Corporate partners vary in size, sector, income and location. You’ll work with a range of stakeholders, from CEOs to office administrators, and tailor your approach to suit each relationship.

Key responsibilities

  • Research, approach and secure new corporate partnerships, identifying businesses whose priorities align with the charity’s work.
  • Use market intelligence, data and partnership performance to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Develop compelling proposals and partnership ideas that bring together funding, impact and corporate priorities.
  • Build existing relationships and identify opportunities to grow income and activity.
  • Create engaging plans that help partners and staff stay involved.
  • Meet partners face to face, attend meetings and town halls, and make calls, including cold calls.
  • Work with colleagues across the charity to show the impact of partnerships.
  • Track progress, report outcomes and share stories that demonstrate the difference partners make.
  • Lead tours and support outreach and engagement.

What they’re looking for

  • Proven success in corporate fundraising, business development or partnership management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting, pitching and writing.
  • A creative, proactive approach and the ability to turn ideas into action.
  • A people-focused and adaptable approach, with the confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Charity sector experience is preferred.
  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.

What’s on Offer

  • A day rate of £138.34, plus £22.95 holiday pay per day.
  • An initial 3- 6 month contract
  • Hybrid working, 3 days on-site - Winchester area - Parking available.

Some limited evening and weekend work is required. The role requires an enhanced DBS check.

Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

The Talent Set are committed to diverse and inclusive recruitment practices, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants regardless of race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, disability, or age.
