Purpose of the Job
Development and delivery of the Data, Research and Impact strategy through a cascade of the overall business strategy by ensuring Felix uses robust evidence, technology and research to maximise its social impact and make effective strategic decisions.
The role provides strategic leadership for the Impact & Insights function at a pivotal stage for Felix post-merger. It will also play a critical role as we reshape and transition Data, Digital and Technology, clarifying ownership of business logic, measurement frameworks, KPIs, data quality and governance so that Impact & Insights, Technology and business owners have clear accountabilities and can build greater organisational data maturity. Through this, the role will embed data-informed decision making across the organisation, underpinned by strong governance, reporting frameworks and cross-functional collaboration.
Duties and Responsibilities

- · Empowerment and leadership of the Impact and Insights team
- Act as a key member of the Data, Digital, and Technology (DDaT) Senior Management Team, actively shaping our overarching technology roadmap and ensuring our data architecture supports long-term organisational growth.
- Lead the transition of roles and responsibilities as DDAT is reshaped, ensuring Impact & Insights takes clear ownership of business logic and insight requirements while working with Technology to inform the core reporting suite and data infrastructure, creating clearer accountabilities and a stronger, more effective department.
- Own business logic, measurement frameworks, KPI design and data quality reporting, working with business owners and Technology to strengthen data governance and organisational data maturity.
- ·Create and maintain an innovative environment that encourages colleague participation in raising standards of quality, team working and communication.
- Monitor departmental KPI’s and challenge improvement when required to ensure targets are achieved and improved.
- Establishes direction by developing strategies to attain long term goals.
- Shape and lead Impact and Insights as a strategic, trusted function that embeds a data-driven culture across the organisation.
- Lead the research, data and analytics strategy, ensuring evidence, insight and enabling technology drive impact, learning and innovation.
- Establish and embed data governance practices that improve data consistency, accountability, compliance, and the responsible use of information across the charity.
- Oversee the production of reporting and analytical outputs that turn complex evidence into clear, compelling insight for senior leaders, trustees and external stakeholders.
- Personally lead and deliver analysis for key strategic projects, ensuring robust evidence, insight and recommendations directly inform organisational priorities and decision-making.
- Work in partnership with fundraising, food and marketing teams to ensure insight, evidence and impact reporting are embedded in planning, delivery and strategic decision-making.
- Support systems, tools and processes for effective data capture, reporting, governance and insight generation, working closely with the BI Lead and data engineering team.
- Establish and advocate for appropriate use of AI and digital tools to improve or automate analysis, forecasting, reporting efficiency or insight generation, with appropriate governance in place.
- Strategically manage the Impact & Insights budget and resources effectively, ensuring investment is prioritised to deliver the greatest value for organisational learning, performance and impact.
Essential Criteria
- Significant senior-level experience leading impact, insight, research, functions, with a track record of using evidence to shape organisational strategy and decision-making.
- Strong experience of developing impact measurement frameworks, KPIs and reporting approaches that demonstrate organisational performance and social impact.
- Experience of improving data governance, data quality and data management practices across teams, with a clear understanding of responsible data use and data privacy regulations (eg GDPR).
- Ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, creating clarity, focus and high standards across insight generation, research and reporting.
- Strong strategic communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate asks, recommendations and trade-offs to ELT, boards and senior stakeholders.
- Experience of contributing at senior management team level, influencing cross-functional roadmaps and priorities within data, digital or technology environments.
- Practical experience of using AI or advanced digital tools to strengthen analysis, insight generation, forecasting or reporting efficiency, alongside strong consideration of ethics, governance and adoption
- Excellent stakeholder management, able to build trusted relationships across functions and translate complex evidence into clear, actionable insight for varied audiences.
- Knowledge of Impact methods including Theory of Change and Social Return on Investment.

Previous delivery of training is essential, and if that experience has been gained in a peer-support or recovery setting, all the better. This role requires emotional intelligence; you’ll be working with people who have faced adversity, and your ability to support them within clear, professional boundaries is critical. Giving and receiving feedback, gathering data and other evidence to inform service development, and exercising reflective practice are all essential attributes.
You’ll also contribute to key projects that move SMART Recovery forward, adding your voice and insight to help shape what comes next. The role therefore requires project mangement skills as you will work on specific projects that develop our publications, training, communications and marketing. If you have a special interest and expertise in certain areas of our business such as social media and campaigns, training, volunteer management or copywriting we can develop this skill and interest as an enhancement to your role. Developing areas of expertise within our Co-ordinator team is something we are keen to do.
As this is a home-based role, you’ll need to be comfortable forming meaningful relationships online, building trust and connection via email, phone, and video calls. Mass Participation Events Manager
The role of Mass Participation Events Manager is an exciting new role that will be integral to building on the success of our new mass fundraising product – Walk For A Cure (WFAC).
WFAC is our flagship fundraising event series of 5k accessible walks, bringing together anyone impacted by dementia for a shared purpose- to find a cure.
We have big ambitions for the growth of this exciting mass participation product and next year we will be improving on the microsite functionality, stewardship journeys, and marketing plans to help us drive increased fundraising and remittance.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and delivery partners to ensure the events are delivered on time and to target by putting in place a robust project plan, working groups, reporting and evaluations and ensuring our processes and procedures are fit for purpose.
This role sits within the Supporter-led Fundraising (SLF) team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) sitting within the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate and is responsible for securing income from individuals, groups, and corporates in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan for WFAC, guiding cross-functional teams through its execution.
· Manage project risks and decisions to ensure smooth project progression.
· Establish and lead internal working groups or workstreams for effective collaboration.
· Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in the WFAC project.
· Promote best practices in project management across the organization, working closely with the central Projects Team.
Collaboration and Coordination:

Data and Insight:
· Collaborate with Insight specialists to gather internal and external insights needed to understand the WFAC audience.
· Work with the data team to establish PowerBI dashboards for product performance insight and lifecycle management.
Accessibility and Inclusivity:
· Work with key internal teams to support on delivering accessibility at WFAC events the development of a 'Dementia Friendly Mass Participation Event' framework.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
· Demonstrable experience of using project managements principles and techniques to coordinate multiple workstreams, stakeholders, risks and deadlines.
· Experience managing agencies and suppliers and ensuring all contractual requirements are delivered on time and budget.
· Demonstrable experience in championing a product at an organisational level with excellent skills in influencing and negotiation.
· Project Management experience.
· Experience of analysing and monitoring data in a consumer/supporter environment and utilising outputs to advise and drive forward activity.
· Skills in producing evaluations, reporting on objectives and sharing insights.
· Demonstrable ability to work with a variety of different internal and external stakeholders at all levels
· Willingness to travel throughout the UK and to work event weekends including overnight stays- primarily WFAC events.

About You
- Qualified accountant (CIPFA/CIMA/FCA/ACA/ACCCA) with relevant senior financial experience in organisations with multiple income streams and/ or £3m+ in revenue.

- Strong ICT skills, including database (Office 365, specifically excel).

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Operations & Organisational Effectiveness is responsible for leadingUbele's operational infrastructure and ensuring the organisation has the systems,processes, people, governance and resources required to operate effectively andsustainably.
As a member of the management board, the postholder will work closely with thecurrent CEO and colleagues across the organisation to strengthen organisationaleffectiveness, improve operational performance and create the conditions forsuccessful programme delivery and long-term organisational resilience.
The role will provide leadership across operations, governance, finance oversight,people management, compliance, organisational planning and businessimprovement, ensuring that Ubele's operational foundations support its mission,values and ambitions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational leadership and organisational effectiveness
Lead the development and continuous improvement of organisational systems,processes and operational practices.
Drive organisational effectiveness through improved planning, coordination,accountability and performance management.
Ensure effective operational planning and resource allocation across theorganisation.
Establish and embed clear operational frameworks, policies and procedures
