The Corporate Partnerships Officer will support the delivery of The Brain Tumour Charity’s growing corporate partnerships strategy, steward partners and generate income that advances our mission.

Working closely with the New Business Corporate Partnership Manager, the post holder will help with effective account management, engage senior stakeholders and support high-quality partner experiences with measurable impact.

They will also contribute ideas and improvements that support the charity’s fast-paced and evolving fundraising needs.

• Support the preparation of tailored approaches, pitch materials and supporting documents for prospective partners, based on their charitable giving criteria and business priorities.

• Contribute to cross-team projects and provide wider support to the New Business Corporate Manager and team as required.

Events Coordinator

About the role 

The Events Coordinator sits within the Development team and reports into the Head of Philanthropy but works closely with senior leadership and colleagues across the organisation, notably, the Communications Team, the Creative Team, the Commercial Team and the Finance and Operations Teams as well as in-country teams.

This is a very hands-on role from the beginning. You will be leading all planning and execution for events, including fundraising events, exhibitions, though leadership, creative and commercial events, and community outreach events.

About the role

As part of the Trusts & Statutory team, you will sit within the Philanthropy & Partnerships department; a collaborative and creative collection of teams who are committed to diversifying the charity’s income.

The core function of your role will be to develop and manage a new programme of mid-value (£10k-£99k) trusts, foundations, and National Lottery agencies to increase income for both project and core activities. This will include researching and building a pipeline of prospects, preparing high-quality written proposals and reports, and delivering excellent stewardship. You will account-manage a small cohort of existing donors, delivering on contractual agreements and strengthening the relationships long term. 

You will liaise closely with colleagues across services, research, and campaigning to gather the necessary project information, data, case studies, and outcomes for use in your applications and impact reporting.

We are recruiting three Senior Development Managers to join our Major Gifts Team. There is one permanent opportunity and two 14-month maternity cover roles. This permanent position is a broad major gifts role working across Durham’s campaign priorities, who will also take a lead on legacies and planned giving, helping to develop this work across the wider team and dealing sensitively with wills, estates and executors where the University is named as a beneficiary.

• Senior Development Manager (Sciences)

This mat cover role will focus on the Faculty of Science, particularly Computer Science, Physics and Mathematical Sciences. It will also include student and graduate enterprise and enrichment activity connected to the Venture Lab.

• Senior Development Manager (Arts and Humanities)

This mat cover role has a varied portfolio that includes the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Libraries and Special Collections, alongside student enrichment opportunities across sport, theatre and music.

In October 2025, St Ann’s Hospice became Moya Cole. Their two hospices in Heald Green and Little Hulton provide person centred care and support to adults affected by life-limiting illnesses. They serve thousands of people every year across Greater Manchester.

The Role

As Fundraising Manager you will lead a team of fundraisers, to grow activity across community, corporate, events and philanthropy income streams. The main responsibilities will include:

• Engage, empower and inspire the fundraising team to deliver income to set targets.
• Ensure all activity is compliant and meets fundraising regulations.
• Work collaboratively across the organisation, building strong relationships to maximise opportunities 
• Attend networking events and meetings with potential donors and external stakeholders.
• Manage the budget and maintain accurate records in line with policies and guidelines.

The Person

We are looking for someone with experience in delivering income from a range of income streams, including Philanthropy, Corporate, Community and Events.

As a Fundraising Manager you must be confident and capable of leading the fundraising team. We are looking for a strong decision maker, who can take initiative and work autonomously to achieve ambitious targets.

You must have exceptional communications skills and proven experience of building successful relationships both internally and externally. Your flair, passion and enthusiasm will motivate and inspire those around you.

We’re looking for a Receptionist & Challenge Event Assistant to join our friendly Challenge Event team. This role is the first point of contact for many supporters of the Charity. It is also an integral part of the Challenge Events Team, assisting with managing a portfolio of third-party challenge events. Dealing directly with supporters and liaising with teams across the Charity, the role requires an effective communicator, with great attention to detail, who is proactive and has a passion for fundraising.

What you’ll be doing

• Be the first point of contact for all enquiries at the Charity’s reception desk in Sutton.
• Provide excellent supporter care by responding to event enquiries quickly and efficiently and providing advice and support where necessary.
• Work across a variety of different digital platforms to help process challenge event registrations.
• Send relevant materials and letters to supporters in a timely manner, keeping an accurate record of these communications on the database.
• Ensure the event information on the charity website and displayed within the hospital is up-to-date and relevant. This will include poster sites, notice boards and leaflets around the hospital. 
• Provide support with the delivery of events including preparing equipment and materials.

About you

You’ll be a friendly, organised and proactive individual who enjoys working with people and delivering a great supporter experience. Whether through customer service, volunteering or a similar role, you’ll be confident building positive relationships, managing multiple priorities and communicating effectively with a wide range of people. You’ll have strong attention to detail, good IT skills, and a practical approach to problem-solving. Experience of using a database would be an advantage, but most importantly, you’ll be keen to learn, take initiative and contribute positively as part of a supportive team.

This is a role for someone bringing significant operational management experience, ideally within the charity/NGO and human rights sector. The Head of Operations will provide leadership in all operational matters, supporting the organisation's mission and long-term objectives, supporting ATLEU’s growth, resilience, and sustainability as well as building a flexible and supportive environment that enables the ATLEU team to do the challenging work that they do. 

This role is managed by, and works closely with the Chief Executive. You will be a member of ATLEU’s Senior Management team and work closely with and supervise the work of the People & Inclusion Manager (recently started in post), the Operations & Projects Coordinator, the Project Manager and Philanthropy Manager. The Operations team is a small team that works collaboratively to ensure all areas are covered at all times. As such, you will be willing to chip in and take on tasks of other team members if urgent matters arise or when providing holiday cover. 

We are looking for a positive, detail-oriented, creative thinker and problem solver who will build on our reputation for innovation and excellence. You will have a track record of achievement in this field and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong financial and business acumen. You will have experience of and confidence in overseeing a wide remit of cross cutting functions including finance, human resources, office management, information technology and governance and compliance. You will be comfortable learning and acting upon complex and technical information. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with autonomy and who thrives in a role which is fast-paced and where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will enjoy working in the office and being available to support colleagues.
