We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Student Support Officer to support in the areas of disability and inclusion for our Initial Teacher Education programmes and on behalf of our partners for the High Performance Initial Teacher Training programme.
About the role
This is an important new role reporting to the Student Support Lead (Disability and Inclusion). The post-holder will provide support and advice to trainees with a wide range of needs, including disabilities such as SpLD, autism and ADHD, as well as mental health conditions. They will write Reasonable Adjustment Plans (RAPs), work with partners to ensure agreed support is implemented effectively, escalate cases where appropriate, and contribute insight to help strengthen student support, inclusion and wellbeing practice across NIoT. Above all, the role is focused on enabling an outstanding student experience.

Essential Criteria:
Experience of delivering one-to-one support to a range of learners with disabilities and other additional needs, including writing support plans.
A strong understanding of the Equality Act (2010) and other relevant legislation related to disability rights and accommodations.
Familiarity with Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) and Access to Work
Excellent understanding of reasonable adjustments and the creation of tailored plans, including knowledge of adjustments to assessments, learning and teaching.
Educated to degree level and/or significant relevant experience.
Ability to provide sensitive and empathetic support to trainees regarding their disability and welfare support needs.
A commitment to the aims of the National Institute of Teaching.
An interest in the education sector and a belief in the value of teachers and school leaders.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices in handling sensitive information.
Proficient in the use of MS Office software packages, such as Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as search engines and online databases.
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience delivering disability and/or mental health support in a higher education setting, such as a Disability, Mentoring or Wellbeing Service.
Further postgraduate training related to student support, such as Study Skills, Mentoring, SEND, disability support.
Experience of working in or with the Initial Teacher Education (ITE) sector.

Purpose of the role:
The Kinship Navigator provides intensive, time-limited support to kinship carers through the Kinship Connected programme, a structured six-month intervention designed to help kinship families stabilise placements and access the support they need.
Working directly with kinship carers in West Dunbartonshire, you will build trusting relationships while completing structured assessments, goal setting and reviews to help families strengthen their support networks and navigate services such as children’s social care, education, health and community support.
This is a community-facing role, working from Y Sort It’s offices and directly in kinship carers’ homes and community spaces. You will work alongside Y Sort It’s Intandem mentors to ensure that both carers and the children they care for receive coordinated, complementary support.
Accurate recording of your work is essential to enable Kinship and Inspiring Scotland to understand what is working, demonstrate impact and learn from this pioneering pilot.
Direct support
You will provide intensive one-to-one support to kinship carers for up to six months, working within the delivery approach set out in the Kinship Connected Service Manual. You will also establish and facilitate a monthly support group for kinship carers in West Dunbartonshire.

Sitting at the heart of our Delivery Partnerships team, you will lead the development of high-quality, commercially viable partnerships across priority locations, ensuring we can reach more young people with impactful employability programmes. This is a highly visible role where strategy meets delivery: shaping local partnership plans, unlocking employer and training opportunities, and driving measurable impact at scale.
You will translate strategy into clear, deliverable plans and performance outcomes. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will identify growth sectors, build strong employer networks, and develop compelling partnership proposals and agreements. Your work will directly influence how effectively we connect young people to jobs, training and work experience, while maintaining strong standards in safeguarding, compliance, and inclusion.

Support Service:
1. Event Coordination and Delivery
1.1: Coordinate and deliver regular community engagement activities, including; coffee mornings and
support events.
1.2: Organise and facilitate regular wellbeing and social activities, such as; walks or group sessions.
1.3: Represent the organisation at regional events, including supporting fundraising and CYP teams
when required.
1.4: Co-lead on bookings and coordination of Ty Uchaf, our respite house.
2. Awareness, Training and Engagement
2.1: Lead on regional awareness training delivery for non-emergency services and community-based
organisations.
2.2: Deliver additional 2wish training programmes as required, including Children & Young People
(CYP) and Bereavement in workplace support training.
2.3: Lead awareness and advocacy activities with local ‘support champions’, including professionals
within non-emergency services.
3. Partnership and Network Development
3.1: Actively engage with local bereavement networks through attendance at meetings, hosting
information stands and building strong professional relationships across the region.
3.2: Develop and maintain effective links with community partners to expand reach and awareness of
services.
4. Volunteer Support
4.1: Act as a key local contact for volunteers.
4.2: Support the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers in collaboration with the wider
team.
5. Administration, Monitoring and Reporting
5.1: Maintain and take ownership of relevant systems and spreadsheets, including those used for:

We are looking for a Delivery Partner Manager to develop and manage AllChild’s partnership of voluntary and community organisations in Hastings, ensuring excellent quality specialist support which drives positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.
Across the UK, millions of children and young people are growing up in poverty, facing complex social and emotional challenges. AllChild works within local systems and communities to identify and support young people most at risk of poor social, emotional and academic outcomes. Through our two‑year Impact Programme, we work with schools and local partners to build coordinated, place‑based support around children and families.
This role has a focus on establishing AllChild in a new region. You will be responsible for building strong, trusted relationships across the local community, developing deep knowledge of the local landscape, and embedding AllChild within existing networks and partnerships.
