STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention work disrupts the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.
This role will lead on our work to prevent recruitment of vulnerable people, overseeing our global prevention programmes that reach high-risk communities with lifesaving information, typically via social media (through partnership with companies like Meta & TikTok). The Head of Prevention is responsible for ensuring our programmes are high quality, effective, leading on safeguarding as well as monitoring and reporting impact to drive future funding.
Summary of Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership:
· Manage a multi-disciplinary team that works together to deliver prevention programmes, bring in partner data for our Traffik Analysis Hub, and develop software and data tools for vulnerable communities.
· With support from the Director of Intelligence and Prevention, oversee the flow of intelligence resulting from prevention programmes, including the safeguarding of individuals at risk.

Job purpose:
This is a creative opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference with one of the country’s leading Lived Experience Recovery Organisations for individuals who have or have had a substance use disorder.
The Innovation, Development Fundraising Manager is a new role within the charity. The purpose of this position is to work with the Senior Leadership Team and other staff members to:
· Help develop and fund new activities in our existing services.
· Through the development and modelling of pilot projects, help the SLT with the implementation of our three-year strategy and seek funding through trust and grant foundations for the delivery of the above.
· Collaborate with the Chief Executive to identify and apply for new funding streams that support the work and growth of the charity and build on our current service delivery.
You will seek to develop and diversify the base of supporters and to achieve fundraising targets working with the CEO and SLT, supported by the board of trustees. We want to continue with our local services contracted income but also to develop other income streams, expand our supporter networks and build our sustainability for the future.
The successful candidate will also develop and maintain appropriate relationships with trusts, foundations and their representatives, ensuring the highest quality of stewardship and cultivation of a proactive relationship-based approach to seeking new funding opportunities.

Responsibilities and main duties:
o Work closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, and others in the leadership team to develop and spearhead delivery of a funding and financial plan that will enable delivery of our mission, strategy 2026-29 and delivering our financial strategic objectives.
o Proactively research and develop opportunities from trusts and foundations, developing a funding database and pipeline.
o Working with the CEO and service managers, initializing, and developing projects, producing compelling funding proposals and grant applications, initiating prospect meetings, and confidently pitching new funders to successfully convert prospects to funders or donors.
o Work with the leadership team and local service managers, and volunteers to fundraise local community support activity in the areas we operate in.
o Explore and test new fundraising approaches (such as events and corporate) to further grow and diversify income,

o Manage and monitor ongoing funder reporting, ensuring that effective records of grant/funding bids and their conditions are kept and strictly adhered to by project leads, and that interim and end of project reporting is completed to a high standard, consulting with project leads where appropriate.
o Build and sustain strong relationships with a broad range of funding individuals and organizations, using a wide range of appropriate stewardship approaches to develop and retain their support for Build on Belief.
o Stay informed of existing and new fundraising legislation and ensure all fundraising activities are compliant with the Code of Fundraising Practice and all other statutory obligations, maintaining and communicating internal policies as appropriate.
o Actively instill an organizational culture of fundraising, ensuring that everyone in the organization, including our trustees, understands and contributes to our fundraising strategy.
o Develop a good working knowledge of the charity’s activities, our approaches to addiction and recovery and some of the wider evidence base to tackle addiction and dependency to represent BoB authoritatively to supporters and external audiences.
Experience

We are looking for a Individual Giving and Legacies Manager (maternity cover), to lead and grow key income streams with a particular focus on legacy giving, payroll giving, and in-memory giving, while ensuring every supporters journey is meaningful, positive, and impactful.
This is a fixed term contract to cover up to a years maternity leave, with hybrid working at least one day a week in the London office. This post would ideally start mid April.

The Role
Joining a team of six, reporting into the Head Of Events and Supporter Engagement and managing the supporter engagegment officer. You will:
Develop and deliver the legacy marketing programme, working closely with external digital agencies to promote legacy giving.
Manage and grow the payroll giving programme, including relationships with Professional Fundraising Organisations (PFOs) and internal teams.
Oversee in memory giving initiatives,working closely with the Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive on digital in-memory giving initiatives and tribute pages.
Lead on the planning, creation, and delivery of direct mail appeals, working collaboratively with the Head of Events and Supporter Engagement.
The Candidate
Proven experience in legacy giving and individual giving environments.
Ability to analyse and report on marketing effectiveness, sharing insights with teams.
Experience in managing finance and budgeting for fundraising activities.
Demonstrable ability to write engaging copy for different audiences across varied communication channels.
Ideally previous line management experience.

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Governance, the Head of Finance will be responsible for key tasks such as the annual budgeting process, forecasting, finance business partnering and ensuring robust financial controls and systems are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- External Financial Reporting - Responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely statutory and tax reporting across the organisation, including leading the group audit process and contributing as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee. Ensuring that reporting capabilities remain robust, fit for purpose, and aligned with best practices.
- Budgeting & Financial Planning - Accountable for managing the annual budgeting process and delivering forecasting to support strategic decision‑making. This includes effective stakeholder engagement, clear timetabling, strong controls, and optimal use of systems.
- Investment Strategy & Management - Serving as a key member of the Investment Committee, with responsibility for executing and overseeing the organisation’s liquidity management and treasury activities.

Essential Criteria
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant, have experience in a large charity settings or a global businesses and be confident in managing a finance function. This includes overall responsibility for operational finance, management accounts, budgeting, statutory reporting and treasury. Demonstrated expertise in ERP platform, preferably NetSuite, and supporting operations across a global organisation will also be key.
