Jimmy’s Cambridge are seeking a Director of Performance. This is a completely new post, designed to radically transform assurance and accountability ahead of licencing and regulatory compliance within our sector. The Director of Performance will hold the organisation and its staff to account for providing exceptional service and gold standard accommodation to our residents. The post holder will line manage the Head of services, Head of Finance and People, Head of Fundraising, Communications and Communities and the Project Officer, holding them to account for delivery of business and service plans, effective and efficient running of portfolios and functions, high levels of Return on Investment (ROI), stakeholder satisfaction, regulatory compliance and commissioner and contract delivery. The post holder will utilise data, evidence and insights to assess performance and assure the CEO and Board that Jimmy’s Cambridge is run effectively and efficiently for the benefit of our residents.
You will come from a very strong performance background, most likely with a highly detailed understanding of regulatory compliance within any regulated / licenced sector. You will be unafraid to ask difficult questions, scrutinise business and operational planning, put into practice swift and effective performance improvement initiatives, and assure a Board of your services / portfolios efficiency, effectiveness and grip within complex operating environments. Unafraid of robust conversations and relationships, you will not shy away from what needs to be done to ensure the very highest standards for our residents. You will not necessarily come from a homelessness or housing background, but you will possess a strong poverty reduction, inclusion and social justice ethos. Empathetic with a titanium core!

Role description
Malaria No More UK is looking to appoint a highly motivated Senior Advocacy Officer to join our team and help implement our advocacy strategies. Working with both our UK and global advocacy, you will cultivate a new generation of malaria champions and push malaria up the political agenda. This role will work on increasing our visibility and the resonance of our case with key stakeholders, including decision makers in the UK and around the world. Securing increased support will be vital to global efforts to accelerate progress towards ending malaria for good within a generation. We are looking for a confident communicator with strong project management skills and a good understanding of political advocacy.
Key responsibilities
- Providing project management support for a range of projects relating to our UK and global advocacy, including acting as project lead on agreed projects.
- Strategic stakeholder mapping, including building and maintaining relationships with UK parliamentarians and keeping contact records in our database updated on a regular basis.
- Lead the delivery of high-quality events for policy and political audiences, including at the UK party conferences, and international meetings.
- Daily monitoring of the global malaria landscape and UK parliamentary activities and keeping the team informed of relevant developments and engagement opportunities.

Job Purpose
To lead and oversee the delivery of TLC: Talk, Listen, Change’s charitable income generation and fundraising function, driving sustainable income growth through a diverse portfolio of opportunities including commissioning, grant applications, charitable trusts and foundations and fundraising activity. The Head of Development will carry out a mixed role, primarily consisting of informing the strategy, supervising the team and supporting them to secure income - while also directly creating some high-value / high-stakes submissions themselves. Strategic Leadership and Contribution

About the role
We’re looking for a Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) with experience of designing and embedding organisational DEIB strategies and leading culture change at a senior level to join our CEO Office.

The Philanthropy Manager is responsible for leading the leadership and development of Brainkinds philanthropy fundraising activities. This role will focus on the delivery of Brainkind’s capital fundraising initiatives, cultivation and stewardship of high-net-worth individuals and grow strategic corporate partnerships. This is a newly created role that will play an integral part of the Brainkind fundraising strategy.
The primary duties for the role will include
·Develop and deliver capital fundraising strategies to support major infrastructure and service development projects
- Identify and secure major gifts (£25k+) to support capital appeals.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and prospective major donors.
- Identify, research, and cultivate new prospects through networking, events, and relationship mapping.
- Develop and implement a corporate fundraising strategy aligned to Brainkind’s mission and values.
- Secure new corporate partnerships including strategic, multi-year, and employee engagement partnerships.
Experience and skills required for the role will include
·Previous experience of working in a philanthropy focused role with understanding of engaging with high-net-worth individuals, potential major donors and corporate partners.

The Biochemical Society are seeking a Head of Journals, on a 2-year Fixed Term contract on a part time basis (0.6 FTE), to oversee the editorial and production functions across the Portland Press portfolio.
The Head of Journals will support the Director of Content and Engagement on the delivery of the PPL strategy, growing the publishing portfolio based on strategy and community need to achieve agreed targets, year-on-year growth, increase usage and attract the best authorship. You will also work closely with the Head of Sales and Licensing to ensure content and commercial strategies are aligned to drive growth and innovation.
The post-holder will oversee all systems, processes, suppliers and partners are delivering to agreed standards, along with driving continuous improvements to KPIs within publishing processes to deliver high-quality, cost-effective end-to-end publishing service in line with business strategy and research need, and able to recommend improvements or innovative ways of working.
This role will contribute to growing and maintaining the international profile and reputation of Portland Press and the Biochemical Society to deliver a reliable and efficient service with internal and external stakeholders to generate new ideas.
This position has management responsibility for the Publishing team, fostering a culture of conscientious working and continuous improvement to creatively grow the journals portfolio and ensure outstanding customer/research service across all publications.

Role Description
1. Income strategy and delivery

Grow and deepen relationships with supporters, including donors, volunteers, ambassadors and advocates, increasing participation, loyalty, and lifetime value in line with our strategic ambitions.

Use insight, data, and performance management to inform decision-making, strengthen propositions, improve return on investment, and give the CEO and Board a clear grip on income and engagement performance.
5. Leadership, culture, and capability
Lead and line-manage all fundraising, marketing and communications staff, setting clear priorities, expectations and accountability, and building a confident, high-performing culture aligned with the organisation’s values and Principles.
6. Organisational leadership and profile-raising

Experience

A proven record of developing and implementing income or growth strategy aligned to organisational purpose, values and long-term direction, including delivering measurable results or step-change improvement.

About Adolescent Health Study
The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people aged eight to 18 years from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records. Recruitment will take place mainly through schools. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with and involving young people, schools, parents and other relevant stakeholders in the design and delivery of the study, as well as on including young people that represent as wide as possible a range of backgrounds, experiences and characteristics. AHS will focus on enabling a wide range of research, including studies of the critical biological and social developments that occur during the transition from childhood to adulthood and the determinants of both mental and physical health and wellbeing in adolescents and young adults.
Purpose of the post
The Procurement Lead is responsible for developing and delivering a robust procurement and commercial strategy that ensures value for money, compliance with Procurement Act 2023 regulations in line with AHS being primarily public funded and supports AHS study and operational objectives. Main responsibilities
