We are looking for a part-time Membership Officer, who will be working alongside our existing part-time Membership Officer. Together, you will lead on administrative support of our membership functions. Reporting to our Operations Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the administrative functions that support the smooth running and ongoing success of the organisation around membership. This role will work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and will work one day a week in our office in Archway, London (Tuesdays).

This is an interesting and varied role that acts as a first 'point of contact’ for the people we work with (such as Member Institutions, Registrants and queries from members of the public), as well as managing the administrative aspect of memberships, such as setting up new Registrants on our CRM system. The role also involves longer term project work such as overseeing the CPD audit and improving and growing membership processes.

We are looking for a committed and highly motivated individual with previous similar experience who is keen to join our small and friendly team. It’s important to us that the successful candidate will be in post for a substantial period. Occasionally this role would be asked to support at evening committee meetings or on Saturdays.

The Job 

Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, this role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team. The Church Engagement and Events Officer will play a key role in building relationships with churches, supporters and volunteers across Britain, Ireland and Europe, helping them engage more deeply with USPG's vision and mission. 

You will lead the planning and delivery of USPG's events programme, including the USPG Conference, Founder's Day, In Conversation Dinners and the annual Carol Service, as well as supporting the organisation's presence at festivals, synods and other national events. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help create inspiring and engaging experiences that raise awareness of USPG's global mission. 

As the first point of contact for many church supporters, you will provide excellent stewardship, support and resources that inspire churches and communities to engage through prayer, giving and action. The role

We provide expert bereavement and grief information and support, and our charity has been supporting people for over 65 years. We support adults, children and young people across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, through our national services, over 80 local branches and online information about grief and bereavement.

 To lead and grow Cruse’s community fundraising and events programme, maximising income from existing activities/events while developing new fundraising opportunities. The postholder will take ownership of event planning and delivery, supporter engagement and volunteer and Branch fundraising coordination, helping to increase unrestricted income. About the role

As Fundraising Manager - Trusts & Foundations, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our fundraising strategy. • Deliver wrap-around intensive, trauma informed support to people with multiple and complex issues within their own independent tenancies.
