Overall purpose
The middle school science teacher is responsible for delivering a science curriculum to middle school students in an engaging, stimulating and effective manner, using varied instructional strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to promote inquiry-based learning, in which students work both collaboratively and independently to create new knowledge, share materials, problem-solve and discuss mathematical concepts through hands-on learning activities such as labs, fieldwork and whole class discussions.
Summary of duties

Teach four sections of science and serve as a Grade 7 advisor, (each section of science meets for 80 min, four times per every eight days and advisory meets every day for 30 min)

Prepare, coordinate and plan the curriculum with other members of the science department, and liaise with other departments where appropriate

Exhibit knowledge of current trends, pedagogy, research, and topics of importance in science education by applying it in the classroom and sharing it with teachers on a departmental and school-wide basis

Monitor and evaluate students’ progress, prepare for parent conferences, grade assessments and complete report cards, etc

Take responsibility for the safety and well-being of all students, demonstrating strong knowledge of laboratory safety and explicitly teaching safe practices while delivering an engaging and challenging syllabus

Single Homeless Project's (SHP’s) Camden Housing First service is expanding, and we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Project Worker to join an innovative team supporting people with long histories of rough sleeping, multiple exclusion and co-occurring needs. This includes a new and important focus on supporting couples who have been rough sleeping and will be accommodated separately in their own self-contained flats, while receiving intensive, relational and trauma-informed support.
Based from King’s Cross, you’ll work across the community and in people’s homes, carrying a small caseload so you can offer flexible, persistent and person-centred support that is shaped around each person’s strengths, safety, needs and goals. You’ll build trust with people who may have had difficult experiences of services, working at their pace while keeping a strong focus on housing sustainment, wellbeing, risk, choice and recovery.
You won’t be doing this work alone. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team and will work closely with statutory services, housing partners and specialist colleagues including health, psychology, Solace, occupational therapy and perpetrator support. With safety at the heart of the work, you’ll play a key role in supporting people where relationships, trauma, exploitation, abuse or external risk may be part of their lives. At SHP, you’ll also have access to learning, reflective practice and development opportunities that help you keep growing your skills while doing meaningful, complex and life-changing work.

- You have experience supporting people facing multiple disadvantage, including homelessness, trauma, mental ill health, substance use, contact with the criminal justice system or long-term exclusion from services.

Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to join our exciting new project, working with those engaging in gambling harms behaviours and affected others. The role will include various workstreams to the service, including: crisis de-escalation, casework, psychoeducation workshops and facilitating a space for peer-led activities.
Your role as a support worker will be to de-escalate those in a state of crisis which is exacerbated or influenced by gambling related behaviours. You will be expected to manage crises within a drop-in model. You will be expected to hold your own caseload of clients, providing 1:1 bespoke advice surrounding gambling and mental health support. In addition, you will aid in facilitating peer-led psychoeducation groups addressing root causes of gambling and a safe environment for loved ones to build meaningful peer connections. You will be joining a small team and be expected to work in partnership with your peer support workers and service lead. We are seeking autonomous, creative individuals with experiences of working with behaviours around addiction.
Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with health and social care professionals, MDT’s, local partners and volunteers to connect people affected by MND with the information, services and support they need.
At the Motor Neurone Disease Association, we work to improve care, support and quality of life for people affected by MND. As a Community Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our support reaches people when they need it most.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, develop and support a team of Community Support Volunteers.
- Respond to enquiries and referrals, providing information and connecting people with appropriate support.
- Build effective relationships with health and social care professionals, hospices and local partners.
- Support volunteer groups and branches to understand and respond to local needs.
- Facilitate collaboration between volunteers, staff and external stakeholders.
- Promote safe and inclusive services, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and organisational policies.

Job purpose:
The postholder will provide public affairs and policy support for the Association’s Advocacy and Campaigns programme as key elements in the Association’s strategic plan.
This role is based at our head office in 21 Portland Place, London. We offer a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the organisation with developing its external voice by responding to policy developments and parliamentary opportunities, bringing together members’ views, evidence and information.
- Monitor relevant parliamentary business and produce short summaries of events where appropriate.
- Track the progress of relevant legislation, committee inquiries and consultations.
- Develop briefings and position statements setting out the Association’s views on issues relevant to membership, that support the advocacy and campaigns work and topical issues.
- Prepare briefings in advance of, and attend, where appropriate, meetings with key stakeholders and organise meetings when required.

Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced mental health manager to join our exciting new project, working with those engaging in gambling harms behaviours and affected others. The role will include overseeing various workstreams to the service, including: crisis de-escalation, casework, psychoeducation workshops and facilitating a space for peer-led activities. You will have a small team of support workers and volunteers to manage.
Your role as a team manager will be to directly support a team of support workers and volunteers in all areas of the service. You will aid in de-escalating those in a state of crisis which is exacerbated or influenced by gambling related behaviours. You will be expected to manage crises and your team, within a drop-in model. You will be expected to hold your own caseload of clients, providing 1:1 bespoke advice surrounding gambling and mental health support. In addition, you will aid in overseeing peer-led psychoeducation groups addressing root causes of gambling and a safe environment for loved ones to build meaningful peer connections. We are seeking autonomous, creative individuals with experiences of working with behaviours around addiction and direct management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
