At The King's Trust, we're transforming the way young people, volunteers, supporters and colleagues experience our services through digital innovation. As our Product Owner, you'll play a key role in making that happen.
This is an opportunity to shape digital products with real purpose, working alongside industry-leading partners to create innovative solutions that make a lasting difference to young people's lives. Working with talented multidisciplinary teams, you'll turn user needs into practical, impactful digital solutions that make it easier for young people to access support, for volunteers to get involved, and for supporters to help us create brighter futures.
You'll lead the direction of your products, owning the roadmap and prioritising the backlog to ensure we're always focused on delivering the greatest value. Using data, research and insight, you'll uncover opportunities, challenge assumptions and make informed decisions that improve the experience of our users. From discovery through to delivery, you'll help shape products that are intuitive, accessible and built around the people who use them.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You'll work closely with designers, developers, content specialists and stakeholders from across the organisation, bringing people together around a shared vision and ensuring great ideas become successful digital products.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who's curious, collaborative and passionate about creating products that solve real problems.
You'll have experience contributing to the delivery of digital products or services and be comfortable working in agile or hybrid environments. You'll know how to balance competing priorities, communicate a clear product vision and use evidence to make confident decisions.
You'll also bring:
- Experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps and delivery priorities.
- The ability to use user research, analytics and data to shape decisions and measure success.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and build trusted relationships across teams.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria and other product documentation.
- An understanding of digital best practice, including accessibility, security, safeguarding and inclusive design.

Social Media Officer at Freedom for Animals
Salary: £5,245.50 per annum
Contract: Part-time (7.5 hours per week), Temporary (12-month contract with the possibility of extension)

Job Description
Freedom for Animals is one of the UK's longest-running animal rights organisations. Since 1957, we have been working to end the exploitation of animals through undercover investigations, research, campaigns, political lobbying, education and grassroots activism. Our vision is simple: Freedom for all animals.
We are now seeking an experienced Social Media Officer to help grow our online community, inspire action and strengthen Freedom for Animals' digital presence.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in sharing powerful stories, promoting campaigns and engaging supporters across our social media channels. Working closely with our Co-Directors, Campaigns and Fundraising teams, and Graphic Designer, you will help communicate our work across our key campaign areas, including zoos, aquariums, mobile zoos, circuses, bird of prey centres and the exotic pet trade.
The successful candidate will join a small, dedicated and ambitious team where every member has the opportunity to make a real impact. You will plan and schedule engaging social media content, write compelling copy, help deliver coordinated campaign and fundraising activity, monitor performance and identify opportunities to increase engagement and reach.
We're looking for someone who understands how to use social media to inform, inspire and mobilise audiences. You'll be confident planning content, writing engaging copy, identifying trends and opportunities, and ensuring our social media channels reflect Freedom for Animals' voice, values and mission.
You will have experience managing social media accounts, excellent copywriting and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues. A strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics and audience engagement is essential, together with a genuine commitment to animal rights.

We are looking for an Interim Head of Marketing and Communications to lead this function during an exciting period of transition and growth. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Engagement, you’ll oversee marketing and communications across the organisation, line managing a team of specialists and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team. You’ll provide strategic leadership, clear direction and hands‑on support, ensuring activity is well planned, insight‑driven and aligned to our wider organisational objectives.
This role is ideal for an experienced marketing and communications leader, ideally from the charity sector, who can combine strategic thinking with strong delivery, and who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

The role
This is a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term position to July 2027.
We operate a hybrid working model. You will usually work remotely but will be expected to attend meetings at our office near London Bridge when required. Please note that travel costs to the office are not covered.
