Job description

Are you a passionate events fundraiser who wants to step into a leadership role and help us grow, optimise and innovate our events portfolio? Are you passionate about data led decision making and want to make a big impact for people affected by Ovarian Cancer? If so, our Events Fundraising Manager could be the role for you!

We are an ambitious charity, building on our achievements and targeting what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives - symptoms awareness, early diagnosis, better treatments and support for all. We are also investing in our future. This is an exciting time to be joining Target Ovarian Cancer as we continue to grow as an organisation. Join us and together we'll fight for a world where everyone with ovarian cancer lives.

We are looking for someone to lead on our events fundraising portfolio currently raising £700k per year. We have a varied offering from 3rd party challenge events, bespoke owned events and new for 2027, engagement events to help us deepen the connection with our audiences. We want someone who is able to project manage multiple events at once, alongside strong financial skills in budgetting and performance management. You'll also need to be passionate about people as this role has direct reports and responsibilities within our Public Fundraising leadership team.

The role is a full time, 35per week, permanent position. We currently offer a hybrid-working model. This means you may usually work from your home or remote location, but are expected to attend meetings and pay for your own travel to the office in Borough, London when required.

Right to work in the UK

Target Ovarian Cancer does not hold a sponsorship licence and is therefore unable to sponsor individuals to work in the UK.
