Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will work with clinical leaders, parliamentarians, NHS stakeholders and partner organisations to ensure BSH remains a credible and influential voice on heart failure policy. About the Role
Our small Fundraising team has benefitted from significant investment in recent years and this maternity cover role will provide vital continuity as EIA develops and expands its network of philanthropic supporters and strategic partners. You will be joining EIA at a pivotal time, working closely with the Head of Fundraising to sustain momentum across philanthropy, support the launch of our giving circle, Nature Network, and help strengthen selected partnership opportunities that contribute to our fundraising ambitions.
The fundraising team at EIA, is responsible for raising income across trusts and statutory funders, as well as raising funds from individuals. The income raised from individuals has increased in recent years and we are investing further in this area so that we can conduct even more investigative and campaigning work to protect our planet.
The role will focus on developing and strengthening relationships with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), inspiring supporters to give generously, and stewarding donors so they feel closely connected to EIA’s work to combat environmental crime and abuse around the world, as well as supporting partnership activity where it aligns with philanthropic giving, cultivation and long-term relationship development.
The Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager (Maternity cover) will lead the day-to-day delivery of EIA’s philanthropy programme during the maternity cover period. This will include tailored stewardship for HNWIs, prospecting and cultivation, donor funding propositions, implementing and growing the Nature Network giving circle following its launch in September, engaging our network of ambassadors, Future Stewards, and maintaining effective systems to support growth in philanthropy. Nia House is consists of 3 services, Nia House, Coningham and Sulgrave in the North Cluster. We support people with enduring mental health crisis aged 18+ who have housing and support needs. They may be leaving hospital, registered care, be homeless, threatened with homelessness or living in accommodation that is not meeting their identified needs. The services will be also used as a ‘step up' or ‘step down' from other supported accommodation, where appropriate.
A day in this role looks like….
As a Senior Recovery Support worker at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Mental Health and Complex Needs service. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.
A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:
- Empower a caseload of clients to manage their health and wellbeing, maintain their independence, identify their strengths and achieve their goals and aspirations, working in partnership with our subcontractors as required in order to achieve this, under the direction of the Team Leader.
- To clearly articulate the aims and objectives, pathway and service model to people using the service so they can fully participate in and co-produce their support.
- Empower service users to engage effectively in their liaisons with professionals within the community such as social work teams, housing providers, health professionals, JCP etc.
- Work flexibly as part of a team to ensure service coverage and that contractual obligations are met.
- Develop co-produced group activities, peer support networks and other community-based approaches to empowering service users to achieve their goals and aspirations and to encourage service users to access these opportunities.
- Actively monitor the health, wellbeing, safety and security of the service and its users ensuring all concerns are followed up promptly and in line with procedures.
- Ensure that administration is done in good time; that detailed, concise and accurate records are created contemporaneously, and that confidentiality is appropriately maintained.

As the Administration, Governance & Facilities Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the effective operation of the Joseph Levy Foundation. Working closely with the Executive Director, you will provide high-quality administrative, governance and facilities support, ensuring the Foundation operates efficiently and meets its governance and operational responsibilities.
This is a varied and hands-on role in a small, values-led organisation, offering the opportunity to work across board and committee administration, governance support, office and facilities management, organisational administration and stakeholder coordination. You will act as the primary point of contact for governance administration, supporting Trustees and the Executive Director by coordinating meetings, preparing board papers, producing accurate minutes and maintaining governance records.
Alongside governance responsibilities, you will oversee the day-to-day administration and facilities functions of the Foundation, ensuring the office operates smoothly and systems and records are maintained. You will also contribute to improving administrative processes and embedding efficient ways of working across the organisation.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
Following an exciting period of growth, CoppaFeel! is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solutions focused individual looking to continue their career in charity finance, both Financial Accounting and Management Accounting, and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our financial operations.
You’ll be working closely with our Head of Finance & Contracts to help manage CoppaFeel!’s day-to-day finances and contribute to a range of essential finance functions. As part of a newly developed finance team, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact as we shape our systems and processes to support our continued growth.
We’re looking for someone with experience of line management within a finance role, ideally within a small team or charity environment. You’ll need to be confident using accounting software (we use Xero), have strong Excel skills, and be comfortable working independently. Most importantly, you’ll be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the success of our mission.
You will sit within the CoppaFeel! Finance Team. This role is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Operations
Oversee cashflow, month-end processes, reconciliations, journals, payroll, VAT, Gift Aid and grant income.
Manage the day-to-day finance function, including queries and bank payments.
Maintain effective financial policies, controls and processes to mitigate financial risk and promote best practice.
Management Accounting
Checking and finalising of budget holder monthly reports and other internal financial reports.
Finance business partnering delegated budget holders (managers).
Lead quarterly Forecasting process & support on annual budget setting.
Stakeholder Management
Support Auditors and provide required financial information.
Line manage finance officer and assistant.
Work with external finance agencies to ensure a smooth handover of day-to-day processes.
Procurement & Projects
Supporting in value for money costings and ROI’s.
Work with People team to check Freelance contracts.
Work closely with the Operations Team and others on cross-organisational projects.
Undertake any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as required by the Charity, in line with the needs of the organisation.
Skills, Knowledge, & Personal Attributes
Essential
Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
Strong relationship building and communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of people within the organisation
Have good working knowledge of reporting requirements and UK charity regulations experience including SORP
