What You’ll Do:

You’ll be part of our Disclosures & Training team, working collaboratively to provide administrative and customer service support. Please note we are looking for someone with experience of processing large volumes of DBS checks.

 This is a front-line role where you’ll:

• Deliver excellent customer service, offering advice and guidance to callers and managing enquiries via phone, email and post.
• Process disclosure applications accurately, ensuring legal compliance and liasing with the Disclosure and Barring Service or AccessNI.
• Maintain and update customer and membership records using Microsoft Dynamics, resolving queries and discrepancies as needed.
• Support team operations through triage participation, reporting, training, and adherence to GDPR, organisational policies, and health & safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to members phoning the Disclosure Service and to give a consistently high level of customer service. 

• Maintain computer records relating to the provision of thirtyone:eight membership and disclosure service

• Participate in an effective and appropriate triage system operated for callers to the training team.

• Processing disclosure application forms ensuring that they meet legal requirements.

Specific Responsibilities

• Deal with incoming post, emails and telephone enquiries relating to the operation of the Disclosure Service.  

• Carefully check information received to ensure completeness, following up any enquiries necessary by post, telephone or e-mail.      

• Check and countersign online disclosure application forms and then forward the application to the Disclosure and Barring Service or AccessNI for processing.  

• Enter details of disclosure applications and members of thirtyone:eight on the database (Microsoft Dynamics). 

• Follow up all queries, discrepancies and other issues as appropriate with client churches/organisations and the Disclosure and Barring Service.  

• Participate in internal and external meetings and training events as required – mostly online but occasionally in-person.  

• Prepare reports and data information as requested.  

• At all times work within the policies and Code of Practice laid down by the Disclosure and Barring Service, thirtyone:eight and UK Data Protection Legislation and GDPR.

• Under the Health & Safety at Work Act and associated guidance, take adequate care for the health and safety of oneself and other persons who may be affected by an individual’s acts or omissions.

About the role
We mobilise the PhD community to support students from less advantaged backgrounds to access the most competitive universities and succeed when they get there. We work with students who, because of their family income, parental history or the postcode they live in, are at risk of missing out on the life-changing opportunities linked to higher education.
We are excited to be recruiting a School Partnerships Officer to join the School Partnerships Team.
Your job will be to raise awareness of our programmes and transform expressions of interest into school partnerships. This role will require you to become an expert on our programmes so that you can confidently discuss their features and benefits with key stakeholders. You will be comfortable in winning the confidence of head teachers and senior school leaders of prospective schools who have expressed an interest in partnering with us. This isn’t just about administering a process, it’s about understanding the needs of individual schools and how our programmes can support their priorities. You will be tenacious and empathetic in equal measure. Alongside meeting with schools and securing partnerships, you will be involved with generating interest in our programmes, via marketing campaigns and network building. You will also work to improve the efficiency of our internal systems, so teachers have the best experience communicating with us.
The role will report to the School Partnerships Manager. It can be based at either of our Brilliant Club offices, located in London and Leeds.

What you’ll do
 

As International Partnerships Lead for the Middle East, Africa and Europe, your role is to provide world class customer service and support to over 250 international schools from around the world. You will build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools, supporting them to make the most of the Unifrog platform. Solutions and customer service focused, you will make sure that all interactions with Unifrog are prompt, positive and successful. 

You will cover the Middle East and Africa, with possible opportunities for international travel for school visits or conferences once a year.

Your key responsibilities will include:
 

• Being the first point of contact for our international partner schools in the region. 

• Working with your partner Area Manager to improve Unifrog engagement across the region and making sure schools are making the most of the platform.

• Monitoring, auditing and analysing usage across partner schools, identifying schools that need additional support to use the platform effectively.

• Provide resources and strategies to partner schools to maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

• Delivering targeted training sessions for partner schools via workshops and webinars. This could be a video meeting with a counselor, a webinar with lots of teachers attending from around the world; or an in-person visit to one of our partner schools subject to travel restrictions.

• Onboarding new schools that join us. You will make sure that they are properly set up on our platform and have a strong plan in place so that they and their students can get the most out of Unifrog.

• Responding to queries and troubleshooting issues and providing on-the-spot support via phone, email and video calls.

• Proactively working to foster a sense of community amongst our Unifrog partners.

Key details

• UK salary: £38,332 per annum plus team commission (OTE: £43,000). 

• HK salary: HKD 32,007 per month,  plus HK living allowance (HKD 5,670 per month) and commission (OTE: HKD 41,575 per month). 

• Grade B.

• 28 days paid holiday per year (plus bank holidays).

• If UK based, normal working hours are 8am - 4pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am - 3.30pm on Friday. (Sometimes you may be required to start earlier or finish later).

Key aspects of the role

To ensure the effective management of Pdap safe accommodation services. We currently have 3 refuge sites across Kirklees and a combined bed space of 23, with plans for further expansion in 2027.

To be responsible for accommodation contract compliance and maintain effective relationships with our partners and commissioners in Kirklees.

Oversight of high quality service delivery

Context and Background

Our award-winning Creative Team sits within the NSPCC's Communications directorate. We're made up of creatives with design, writing and film production expertise. We create campaign and marketing identities, concepts, and materials, across all channels and for all audiences. We mainly work across three brands -- NSPCC, Childline and NSPCC Learning.

Our team has a broad skillset, covering creative strategy, ideation and delivery. We provide consultancy, art direction, planning, tone of voice guidance and copywriting across print and digital. So whether our colleagues are promoting a fabulous new fundraising event, introducing one of our frontline services, or kickstarting a new national campaign, our team is on hand to offer expertise.

As our new Senior Writer, you'll play a fundamental role in making sure the work we put out is as engaging and impactful as possible to a wide range of audiences.

Job purpose

The Senior Writer will be a highly talented communicator with substantial expertise in creative copywriting, branding and communications, preferably with experience in the charity sector.

You'll work on a wide range of creative briefs that might see you writing copy for print, digital, film, social media or web, based on briefs that come in from teams across the NSPCC. You'll also share your knowledge and expertise through workshops and consultation with internal teams and external agencies.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Creative to drive the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of our marketing and communications, making sure we’re talking to our supporters and the people we help in the most effective way possible. A large part of this is continuing to increase the use of plain English across the organisation.Finally, you will develop and lead strategy relating to copywriting, core messaging and tone of voice for the organisation. And as a senior member of the team, you'll help guide and mentor more junior colleagues.

In addition to line managing the On Demand Bereavement Specialists, the post holder also works on shift as part of the delivery rota to support the team directly, provide real-time guidance, and covers frontline services gaps. You’ll turn complex information into clear, compelling communications that build trust, strengthen relationships and support fundraising growth. Working across Philanthropy, Corporate Partnerships and Legacies, you’ll shape proposals, reports and engagement materials that show both the human impact and the value of supporting Alzheimer’s Society.
This is a role that blends creativity with delivery. You’ll need to think strategically, write persuasively and manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment where quality and deadlines matter.
You’ll also lead and develop an Impact Communications Officer, working closely with another Impact Communications Manager within our High Value Operations team to shape and strengthen this specialist function.
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract.
What you'll do
You'll help our high value fundraising teams secure support, grow income and build long term partnerships. You’ll combine creative thinking with strong delivery, making sure communications are engaging, clear and effective.
You’ll lead on writing proposals, pitches, reports and stewardship materials for high value audiences, shaping messaging and turning complex information into persuasive content that drives action.
You’ll also work across the organisation to gather insight, identify opportunities and bring together stories, evidence and data that demonstrate impact. Alongside this, you’ll support donor meetings, presentations and events with high quality communications that build trust and confidence.
Key responsibilities include:

- Leading high value fundraising communications from brief to delivery
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines, making decisions to keep work on track and to standard
- Building strong relationships across teams to gather insight and identify opportunities
- Improving engagement, messaging and fundraising effectiveness through better communications
- Managing and developing an Impact Communications Officer, providing clear guidance and support
- Contributing to improvements across High Value Operations

About you
You're a skilled communicator who combines creative thinking with strong delivery. You enjoy shaping ideas, solving problems and producing work that makes a real difference.
You’re confident working with different teams and stakeholders, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and focus.
You’ll bring:

- Copywriting skills, with experience of creating clear and persuasive communications tailored to different audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work to agreed deadlines
- Understanding of high value audiences such as major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners, or transferable experience that helps you build this understanding
- Experience of building relationships and working with stakeholders, with the ability to collaborate and work towards shared outcomes
- Experience of supporting or developing others, with a commitment to helping people grow and succeed

About the role

We are looking for a confident and ambitious Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising across Yorkshire during a period of maternity cover. Based at our Arts & Crafts Centre in Knaresborough, you will help grow sustainable income for Henshaws by building strong relationships with corporate partners, supporters, volunteers, patrons, ambassadors and local communities.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys developing new partnerships, creating compelling cases for support and turning ideas into income. You will manage a strong prospect pipeline, identify new opportunities and work closely with fundraising, marketing and operational colleagues to connect supporters with the real impact of Henshaws work.

What you will be doing

You will:

• Lead, develop and manage fundraising activity across Yorkshire.
• Build sustainable income streams and help maximise net income.
• Develop corporate partnerships, sponsorship opportunities and philanthropic support.
• Create compelling proposals and pitches that show the impact of supporting Henshaws.
• Manage a pipeline of prospects, using research, data and structured follow up.
• Work with operational teams to understand funding needs and shape strong cases for support.
• Collaborate with marketing colleagues on fundraising campaigns, appeals, events and digital activity.
• Monitor progress against plans, budgets and KPIs, producing reports and forecasts.
• Support and motivate colleagues and volunteers as required.

About you

We are looking for someone who is proactive, relationship focused and motivated by making a difference.

You will have experience in fundraising, income generation, corporate partnerships, business development or another relevant relationship based role. You will be confident building relationships, making asks, developing proposals and converting opportunities into income.

You will be organised, target driven and comfortable managing budgets, KPIs, pipelines and competing priorities. You will also understand the importance of ethical fundraising, good stewardship and relevant charity fundraising practice.

Experience of working with senior or high profile volunteers, such as patrons or trustees, would be valuable. A CIOF Diploma in Fundraising Management, CIOF membership or equivalent professional experience would be beneficial, but we welcome applications from candidates with strong transferable experience.
