This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into sustainable income. You will have the freedom to shape Fréa’s fundraising approach, develop new partnerships and funding streams, and help establish the partnership as an increasingly influential and sustainable organisation.

You will build on a strong platform already created by Fréa’s existing fundraising work, while bringing fresh thinking and new energy to its next stage of development. You will work closely with senior colleagues and Boards across the three partner charities, developing compelling propositions and identifying opportunities where Fréa can achieve more by working collectively.

Importantly, this is collaborative fundraising, not competitive fundraising. Fréa’s role is to complement and add value to the excellent fundraising already undertaken by its three partners. You will need the judgement to recognise when an opportunity is best pursued by Fréa, by an individual partner, or jointly – always respecting existing relationships with funders, donors and corporate partners.

We are looking for someone who combines fundraising expertise with relationship-building, creativity and excellent partnership skills. You will be comfortable working strategically while also getting stuck into the practical business of developing networks and events, cultivating relationships and securing income.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver communications activity for a highly respected organisation working at the intersection of human rights, social justice, research and advocacy.

This role combines hands-on communications delivery with strategic leadership. Your role 

Join Global’s Make Some Noise as our Partnerships Manager and be at the forefront of driving fundraising income through securing and account managing high value corporate and charity partnerships.

This is a predominantly new business role (around 70%), focused on identifying opportunities, developing compelling partnership propositions and securing significant income through both commercial and charity partnerships. Alongside winning new partners, you'll manage a portfolio of existing relationships to maximise long-term value and repeat investment.

Our partnerships span two key areas:

• Commercial partnerships – media-led opportunities across Global's portfolio, including headline sponsorship of Make Some Noise's October Appeal, branded content and commercial campaigns across radio, podcasts, digital and outdoor platforms.

About the Role

The Street Engagement Team works across the West End/Westminster with people experiencing street homelessness and interconnecting needs (substance dependency, mental/physical health, criminal justice involvement, unclear immigration status etc.). This is done by delivering a support offer that is person-led, wrap-around, and focussed on building relationships by meeting people where they are at. 

Working with the Service Manager, you will manage a team of staff and support the development of a team that is dynamic, innovative, and responsive to the changing needs of the wider environment and the people that use The Connections services. The services operational delivery will include a range of functions that are both street based and building based, such as outreach and in-reach, casework, supporting the wider delivery of CSTMs functions such as essential services, and managing and developing partnerships that supplement the support offer we have for the people that use our services. 

You will have substantial experience in delivering person-led, psychologically, gender and culturally informed services to people who are street homeless. You will have the personal credibility to build confidence in the wider community and with partnerships. You will be both strength-based and solution-focused, developing and enhancing the service with a commitment to embed coproduction. You will also be committed to the values of CSTM (Curious, Safe, Together and Motivated) and will be able to champion approaches that are aligned to this (trauma informed, pre-treatment, harm reduction etc.)

Through compassionate and proactive management, you will help build a high performing, well organised and creative team who are passionate about supporting very vulnerable people away from the streets and getting their needs met.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead our youth work at a time of development

You’ll manage a small team of youth practitioners and sessional workers while staying connected to frontline delivery. You’ll also help shape the future of our youth provision, working with colleagues across Oasis Hub Waterloo to develop our 0–18 strategy and create new, collaborative services.

The National Safeguarding Panel (NSP) is seeking to appoint TWO representatives from a survivor's organisation that works with individuals affected by faith-based abuse to join its independent scrutiny and advisory body.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the safeguarding work of the Church of England by offering strategic insight, scrutiny, and challenge from the perspective of survivors. The NSP plays a vital role in shaping safeguarding policy and practice, ensuring that the voices of victims and survivors are heard and meaningfully integrated into decision-making.

Role Expectation
Time Commitment: Approx. 6-8 meetings per year, plus preparation
Term: 3 years, renewable for 2 years
Location: Meetings held in London and across dioceses (hybrid attendance available)

Remuneration and Expenses
A fee of £25 per hour will be paid for attendance at meetings, along with reimbursement for travel expenses. Members are expected to attend six meetings per year and undertake one hour of reading in preparation for each panel meeting. Additional reasonable expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the Church of England's NCI expenses policy, subject to approval by the Chair.

Responsibilities

• Represent the experiences and perspectives of survivors of faith-based abuse.
• Participate in scrutiny sessions and fact-finding meetings, helping to shape recommendations to the Church's National Safeguarding Steering Group.
• Provide independent advice on safeguarding policy and practice.
• Engage with other panel members from diverse backgrounds, including survivors, safeguarding professionals, and faith representatives.

We’ve been advising authors and speaking out for the profession since 1884. 

Role overview

To support and deliver the internal and external communications and campaigns with the goal of enhancing the SoA’s profile, engage stakeholders, and promote key initiatives. The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience in content creation, media and policy monitoring, digital marketing, and multimedia communications across a range of channels, including newsletters and social media. Objectives • Help to ensure consistent, high-quality communications and campaigns across all channels. • Provide support for brand visibility and audience engagement through digital marketing. • Provide support for delivering content via The Author magazine and outgoing mailers. • Support organisational campaigns, events, and key initiatives. • Monitor media coverage and policy developments, and evaluates website and communications performance.
