Job description

We are looking for a leader with expertise in developing partnerships and sustainable clinical programmes to strategically lead the Society for Endocrinology’s clinical programmes division.

Working closely with our clinical, research and nurse members, industry partners and other stakeholder organisations, you will develop our research portfolio, clinical and partnership activities to strengthen the Society’s influence and impact and drive revenue.  You will identify and develop opportunities to advance clinical research in endocrinology, raise professional standards and support training, all to ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Your role will also contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the Society and the effective and efficient running of the organisation as an Executive Officer.

You will be experienced in developing and delivering strategies for clinical work programmes and partnerships and in working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You will be commercially aware and have a strong understanding of the UK healthcare sectors, together with significant leadership in this area.  Your ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships and to support and develop a professional team, will be invaluable.

While this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we welcome applications from candidates who wish to work reduced hours, down to 0.8 FTE (28 working hours per week).

If this role interests you, but you're not sure you meet every requirement, we'd encourage you to apply. We recognise that people develop their skills and experience in different ways and are interested in the potential, perspectives and strengths each candidate can bring.

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and able to contribute fully.
