We are looking for an individual who will support the development and execution of communication activity aligned with MHFA England’s membership, media and campaign plans. The post holder will create and promote a range of content across different channels (earnt and owned) to help the team in meeting its objectives.

About the role:
The Foundation/Domestic Abuse Prevention Practitioner (FDAP) will play a key role in working directly with individuals using harmful/abusive behaviour within their intimate relationships. The role will include suitability and risk assessments, delivery of interventions, facilitation of group programmes, risk identification, information sharing and preparation of reports for courts and other agencies.
The FDAP Practitioner will be co-located into Priority Crime Teams situated in Newport Police Station to assist with the identification, screening, and engagement of individuals using harmful behaviour in their relationships, working closely with police to provide a timely and streamlined process for earlier identification, referral, and engagement/disruption of high harm perpetrators of domestic abuse.
For this role is it essential you have excellent understanding of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims and their children. Experience of working with individuals experiencing domestic abuse/ and or causing harm. Experience of group work delivery is desirable; however, we will consider applications from candidates who demonstrate an aptitude for the role.
You will need to be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes within a multi-agency setting. As well as being tenacious in support of your clients and adept at problem solving.
IT literacy is a must and candidates must evidence both the ability to use bespoke packages and excellence in their recording practice.

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice we care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family including end of life treatment and care, respite short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, home visits and much much more.
It costs more than £5m each year to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive around 15% of our funding from government and the rest is sourced by our Income Generation team.
The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Income Generation team at Bluebell Wood and we are now on the lookout for an experienced fundraiser to join us and take on the responsibility of developing, implementing and delivering the hospice’s Individual Giving portfolio.

We are thrilled to be partnering with a well-known homelessness charity to support the recruitment of a new Senior Direct Marketing Officer, within the Acquisition team.
What’s on offer:
- A competitive Salary - £35,000-£39,000 (Depending on experience)
- Hybrid Working, with 2 days per week in the London office
- Full-time 35 hours per week

The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing income by strategically developing, implementing, managing and analysing campaigns to recruit new donors through a variety of different media channels, ensuring that messages are on brand and reflect the charity’s benefactors authentically.
This role requires in-depth knowledge and management of a number of different channels including; DRTV, press, inserts, outdoor & digital. This role will also build strong relationships with internal contacts and a number of agencies, and external partners to create innovative and engaging propositions which maximise lifetime value.

We’re looking for the following skills and experience:
· Demonstrable experience of working in a busy direct marketing environment, working to tight deadlines
· Experience of writing fundraising or direct marketing copy
· Proven experience of DM campaign management, including developing new creative approaches, and working closely with agency partners and suppliers.
· Strong working knowledge of direct marketing techniques and mechanics, especially within DRTV or print based channels.
· Experience of managing expenditure budgets and a diverse number of recruitment channels.
· Previous charity experience is advantageous, but by no means essential.
