We are currently recruiting for a Development Officer, Patrons to join our Development team at Kew. The Patrons Officer is a key member of the team, helping to build and nurture this close community of supporters who are deeply invested in our work. This role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Patrons programme, including coordinating renewals, responding to enquiries and ensuring excellent donor care. The post holder will work closely with the Development Manager, Patrons to deliver the programme, implement the retention and upgrade strategy for existing Patrons, and cultivate new Patrons.

The role
Key components of the role include:

Email - develop, write and send UnitedGMH’s regular email newsletter, working with internal staff to source news, updates and relevant content tailored for email subscribers.
Website development - develop, maintain and update content for the UnitedGMH website - including uploading content and editing pages.
Social media channel and community management - lead on day-to-day management and posting on UnitedGMH social media channels, including X, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Manage paid social campaigns where required. Use monitoring tools to manage social media comments (organic and paid).
Brand guardian: Be a steward of the UnitedGMH brand, helping to ensure consistent application of visual identity and tone of voice across all external organisational outputs, maintaining high standards of design.
Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting - create regular analytic reports for social, website and email channels.
Editorial planning and communications calendar management - lead on the maintenance of the organisation’s communications calendar, ensuring content across channels is planned-in-advance of key advocacy moments.
Team support - support the communications team through project management, meeting management, processing supplier invoices, keeping journalist lists up-to-date, and other responsibilities where needed.
Ad-hoc support for the Global Mental Health Action Network - you’ll also provide a supporting function as needed for the GMHAN team, including tasks related to website and social management, plus others where needed.
Requirements
Understanding, and experience in use, of online channels (incl. website content management systems (CMS) such as Wordpress and Squarespace, a broad spectrum of social media platforms and email marketing through Mailchimp)
An excellent copywriter, with demonstrable experience crafting copy for different audiences - including for social media and email newsletters
Strong research and proofreading skills, adapted to key audiences

About Shooting Star Children’s Hospices
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Manager to join our Care Team at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby, child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or whose child has died. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, we support families across Surrey, north-west London and south-west London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
Our Care Events Team provide an extensive programme of groups and events for the 800 life-limited children, their families and bereaved families. There are themed family events, social groups for siblings of different ages, pamper days for mums, counselling groups, bereavement café, memorial days and many festive events such as ice-skating at Hampton Court. Taking place at our hospices and in the communities we serve, there are 5-6 events each week, offering important opportunities for families to make memories together.
About the role
The Care Events Manager is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the annual programme of events. The Care Event Manager leads the Care Events Team, including an Events Assistant, Events Management Intern, Counsellor and care events volunteers, and working with family support workers, children’s therapists and counsellors to deliver an incredible programme of creative and inclusive experiences. The Care Events Manager works alongside the Lead Therapist and Lead Counsellor to ensure that family support at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is everything the children and families need it to be.
At a weekly meeting, the team are made aware of children and family members who are struggling and think together about where they might benefit from the opportunity to spend time with others who share similar experiences or receive group therapy. Utilising professional events management skills, each event is planned meticulously to be a safe and inviting space. Providing this opportunity for families is integral to their mental wellbeing.
About you
This role requires an individual with professional events management experience, with a proven track record of executing high-profile and bespoke events. The individual should have skills in marketing, events administration and able to create events for families from diverse backgrounds. Excellent project management skills are required to keep the fast-paced programme on track, alongside diligence in health and safety. Leadership and management expertise enable the team to thrive, so that we can provide outstanding support to families. The Care Events Manager should be a compassionate and caring individual, sensitive to the needs of families at Shooting Star, with the emotional resilience to work with families who are experiencing grief and trauma. This is a unique opportunity for an events manager to utilise their skillset to make a huge difference to the families that we support.
Once or twice a month the Care Events Manager is expected to work on a Saturday or Sunday (time is given back during the week).

Main Purpose of Role:
The Programme Support and Administrative Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of CFAB’s programmes and organisational functions. What the job involves
We’re looking for a Customer Research Analyst to join our Customer Insight Team in a newly created role.
As a Customer Research Analyst, you’ll help us understand our supporters, donors and stakeholders even better. Working closely with teams across the organisation, you’ll deliver research that brings our customers’ needs to life, supports informed decisions and drives meaningful engagement.
In this role, you’ll design and deliver both quantitative and qualitative research, providing clear and actionable insights that help shape strategy. Alongside the Customer Research Manager, you’ll help champion the use of insight in everything we do, identifying opportunities for market intelligence and consumer research along the way.
You’ll take part in pre- and post-campaign evaluations, design and run customer surveys, interpret data and share findings that inspire action. You’ll also collaborate with external research agencies, when needed, and help develop and promote our Insights Library so knowledge is shared and accessible to everyone.

We’re looking for a Customer Research Analyst who’s curious, analytical and eager to make a real impact through insight. You’ll have a keen interest in both quantitative and qualitative research, from shaping research design and methodology to turning data into meaningful stories that drive action. You’ll already have some experience working in a market or customer research environment.
You’ll bring a strong desire to grow your market research skills and the confidence to communicate findings in a clear, engaging way, whether that’s presenting to a room full of colleagues or sharing insights one to one.

This senior communications and marketing role will be responsible for steering the ongoing digital transformation of CAFODs work, primarily in the supporter programme and also across the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is the employment body that serves and supports the Diocese of London and Church of England. The Diocese of London comprises of c400 parishes north of the River Thames and within the M25 motorway.
