This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director-level communications professional with a strong background in knowledge translation of technical information to different audiences internationally.
Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Director of Communications & Knowledge Translation will provide strategic leadership for all Health Care Without Harm Europe’s Communications and KT activities. The Director will lead exciting new digital KT initiatives in line with our new Strategy and as a key part of a small, high-performing team working at the timely intersection of health and the environment. S/he will lead and support all of the organisation’s engagement and communication with target audiences, so that they achieve maximum impact on European healthcare policy and practice in support of the organisation’s mission.
The post is for an initial 12-month period, at a critical time of development for the organisation’s communications and KT activities. We intend to make the post permanent thereafter, subject to receiving sufficient funding, and we have high hopes that this will be the case.

About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and community-focused programme manager to lead the delivery of the Nature Based Neighbourhoods (NBN) grant programme – a five-year partnership between Lund Trust and the Wates Family Enterprise Trust (WFET).
The NBN programme supports urban communities to create greener, more connected neighbourhoods. It provides core funding, peer networking, and long-term planning support to community organisations working to improve access to nature.
You will oversee all aspects of programme delivery, including grant management, stakeholder engagement, impact reporting, and communications. This is a unique opportunity to shape a long-term initiative that builds community power and drives nature-based change.

Handel Hendrix House care for and present to the public the homes of two of the greatest musicians to have ever lived in London: George Frideric Handel and Jimi Hendrix. This is a great opportunity to make an impact within as the interim Museum Commercial Manager. You will lead on all commercial activities at Handel Hendrix House delivering against targets for visits, retail and venue hire.
You will oversee the museum’s ticketing operations and merchandising offer, ensuring a seamless and welcoming visitor experience while maximising income through both admissions and retail sales.
The day-to-day marketing and digital activities will be managed by the Marketing and Fundraising Officer, however you will work together with colleagues to ensure that the Handel Hendrix House commercial offer reflects the brand and values of the organisation. Working closely with an external commercial events partner you will promote Handel Hendrix House as a desirable venue for hire, maximising income.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Excellent commercial acumen, with circa 5 years’ experience in a similar role or in a retail environment.

The Finance team is undergoing an exciting period of transformation, including the implementation of a new finance system. About the role
As an eComm Assistant, you will support the eComm team in the delivery of our ambitious Bricks & Clicks strategy, supporting our 10yr strategy. Bringing the Crisis brand to life through commercially viable products and multiple income streams. You will get stuck into every aspect of the team including pre-retailing, photography, fulfilment, stock generation, and Shopify, building relationships with internal/external stakeholders and one-off projects.
Day to day tasks can involve:
- Preparation of stock: This can range from sorting a delivery of a single box of donated clothing or homeware to pallets of donated goods.
- Sorting and grading the stock based on its quality and sign posting to the marketplace where we will get the best value (shopify, ebay, depop, retail stores)
- Photographing, steaming/ cleaning, listing, and barcoding of inventory
- Picking and packing of orders & processing returns

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
BBC Children in Need occupies a cherished place in the hearts of the British public and is the UK’s largest independent funder across the children’s sector. We hold a significant voice on children’s issues and play a powerful role in improving the lives of children and young people.
This role is central to that mission. You will be primarily responsible for the development and successful delivery of the ‘We Move FWD’ Fund—a £10 million, 10-year commitment to address systemic racism and issues faced by Black children and young people. To date, over £4 million has been awarded to 66 projects across the UK, with grantmaking decisions led by young Black advisors.
Under the co-leadership of Alex Holmes and Mercy Shibemba, the Fund has expanded to include narrative shifts, storytelling, and celebrating Black joy and imagination. As interim Co-Director (covering parental leave), you will build on this foundational work and lead the strategic management of an additional programme focused on polarisation and division. You will ensure both programmes are aligned with BBC Children in Need’s charitable ambition and strategy, and that their operational delivery drives meaningful impact.

Develop new opportunities and partnerships to advance Fund objectives.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Proven leadership and management experience, with a strong organisational approach and ability to build inclusive, innovative team cultures.
Substantial experience in developing and delivering grantmaking programmes/major partnerships, including broader impact initiatives.
Ability to lead in complex, evolving environments, with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Deep understanding of systemic racism and race equity, with a demonstrable commitment to anti-racism.
Lived experience working with and for Black communities in the UK.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Experience in narrative change or storytelling initiatives.
Familiarity with youth-led programme design and co-creation.
Knowledge of polarisation and division issues in the UK context.

Support Coordinator
We’re looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the Stroke Service based across Newham.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.
Position: S11320 Stroke Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, Newham. However, regular travel will be required as part of this role (will include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 18 hours per week
Salary: Circa £14,100 - per annum (FTE circa £27,435 per annum) (inner London weighting £2,031.42 per annum or outer London weighting £1,170 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

- Organise and facilitate effective service communication for the benefit of stroke survivors and carers in understanding and achieving their goals.
