Principle Accountabilities
- Notify DWP and complete all paperwork for people supported.
- Cover all legal requirements of appointeeship as stated by DWP.
- Manage appointee sub bank accounts for people supported within a locality.
- Receive and manage all social security benefits and other income for people supported within a locality.
- Reconcile sub bank accounts for people supported within a locality.
- Provide visible access to bank statements when required.
- Up load money onto individual pre-payment cards.
- Monitor balances on pre-payment cards within a locality.
- BACS / Cheque payment runs.
- Set up and monitor direct debits / standing orders on sub accounts within a locality.
- Jointly agree personal budget plans for people supported with operational staff.
- Jointly authorise additional expenditure request for people supported.
- Scan and upload benefit letters and responses onto operation management information system.
- Finance audits as and when required.
- Ensure knowledge regarding benefits and legislation is kept up to date.

As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles. The successful candidates will manage a small caseload of carers and provide them with 1:1 support, helping them overcome barriers to employment and training. You will be responsible for supporting them through every stage of their journey, enabling participants to address their barriers and realise their aspirations.

In partnership with HMP Liverpool and Liverpool City Council we run CAMEO (Come and Meet Each Other) a programme which offers a supportive, caring and stimulating environment for older people in prison. As Assistant Manager you will assist in setting up an innovative and engaging day centre which will provide meaningful activity and positive relationships, improves wellbeing, reduces social isolation and offers opportunities for rehabilitative interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with service users and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with internal and external agencies in order to develop innovative and collaborative approaches to meet the needs of the prisoner cohort
- Assist the Manager in ensuring that all relevant administration, data collection and analysis is collated and reported on, including monthly and annual reports to line management
- Be an active part of the wider CAMEO team, bringing meaningful contributions to team meetings, departmental strategy and development of the wider CAMEO programme

Main Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a bold and caring person to lead and develop Lancashire Mind’s Wellbeing Coaching service and mobilise a pilot of therapeutic services; a new service for Lancashire Mind.
You will be a mental health practitioner with experience of delivering therapeutic services and understand the different types of therapy and support clients need. To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, project management and line management experience.
The current postholder is going on maternity leave so we are looking for someone who is able to step into the role and hit the ground running. You will be motivated, flexible and adaptable.
Along with managing the rollout of Lancashire Mind’s therapeutic services, you will manage several coaching focussed projects. The Philanthropy Specialist plays a major role in meeting the organisation's ambitious fundraising goals. Responsible for major giving and grants portfolios, the Philanthropy Specialist identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards financial support from generous individuals and granting bodies.

Position Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of related work experience in major gifts fundraising or in the field of marketing and communications, preferably at a non-profit advocacy organisation.
- A proven track record of bringing in major donations of six-figure sums.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
- A practical understanding of fundraising, GDPR and charity regulation.
- Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable presenting professionally.
- A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to work cooperatively with others in a team-oriented work environment.
- Ability to work additional hours, as needed, to meet deadlines, travel occasionally and manage workflow.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary band £37,000-£40,000, depending on experience. This is a remote working opportunity (UK-based candidates only).

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Regional Casework Coordinator to join the Northwest Region at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
You will be part of the regional office team who are the first point of contact to all beneficiaries into the Regional Office. You will be assisting with sometimes complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlining needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary, either by beginning a casework referral, referring to another service within SSAFA or making an external referral to organisations better able to offer support. You will also have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. At all times you will adhere to the safeguarding, confidentiality, and data-protection policies, including escalation to emergency services for clients where there are immediate areas of concern.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA and will influence the processes and procedures within the office, working closely with the Regional Casework Manager and Regional Operations Manager.
The post is home-based, but you may have to travel occasionally around the Northwest Region of England.
About the team
In this new role you will be working closely with volunteers from the six SSAFA branches in the Northwest, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger support team which will include a Casework Manager and a Regional Operational Manager.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR, along with experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families, along with supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the North West.

About the role
As a Lived Experience Coordinator, you’ll deliver a programme of involvement activities with the aim of ensuring the views and experiences of individuals with lived experience of bad housing or homelessness informs all of Shelter’s work. We’ll also rely on you to deliver involvement activities across the organisation which will shape the ongoing design, delivery and governance of our work. People with lived experience will be involved in a range of ways too, including involvement groups, taking part in events within local communities, co-designing services and campaigns, sharing stories and speaking out about the housing emergency. The overriding aim is to work closely alongside people with lived experience to influence and steer the direction of Shelter’s work, so that lived experience informs everything we do.

About you
