Duties and key responsibilities:
Content development:
- Work with the Information and Content Manager to research, write, edit and produce new information materials including print publications, web pages, videos, etc.
- Work in line with Sarcoma UK’s information production process, including:
- Liaise with clinical experts and patient reviewers throughout the content development process
- Maintain formal systems within the information production process in line with the PIF tick quality mark
- Ensure all new content meets clinical standards, brand guidelines, plain English principles, and accessibility requirements.
Content updates & maintenance:
- Continuously review and update existing print and digital information resources to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a structured review schedule to keep materials current as per the PIF quality mark.
- Manage a comprehensive database to track all information resources and versions.
Content promotion & distribution:
- Work with colleagues to create promotional content for Sarcoma UK's information resources across multiple channels.
- Utilise social media platforms to extend reach and engagement with target audiences.
- Collaborate with internal communications and digital teams on content publishing and marketing.
Administration & reporting:
- Collect metrics and provide regular reports on content performance, user engagement and feedback.
- Assist in developing evaluation methods to assess impact of information resources.
General:
- To support new work within the information team.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals, people affected by sarcoma, and staff members.
- To attend Sarcoma UK events and take part in Sarcoma UK’s wider work.
- To travel occasionally to meetings and events. Occasional weekend or evening work may also be required and time off in lieu will be given.

About the role:
The SHP Somerset Cluster is based in the heart of the London’s theatre and shopping districts – the main hub is just off Drury Lane, with the other sites near Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. The aim of the service is to support people over the age of 18 to navigate various support needs and develop the skills required to maintain independent accommodation long term.
As a multiple disadvantage (MD) referral and move on coordinator, you will work as part of a larger support team to ensure that consideration is given to the individual experiences of multiple disadvantage when it comes to accessing and moving on from our service.
You will work with people from their first interaction with the service: at the point of referral, ensuring that all aspects of someone’s experience is considered by undertaking a trauma informed, culturally sensitive assessment and supporting your colleagues to develop their awareness of these experiences.
From here you will then support their journey through the service by working alongside other support staff to foster a culture of move on, supporting the development of holistic and realistic move on goals.
This work will be underpinned and supported through the development of a move on programme. This programme, developed and overseen by the MD Referral and Move on Coordinators in partnership with the Recovery and Opportunity Coordinators, will be not only look to develop confidence and ability to navigate social systems, but also be accredited through SHP’s AQA Registered Learning Centre.
In addition, you will carry your own caseload for people living in the step-down services to ensure that they are prepared, equipped, and confident about moving on. This may include identifying current barriers within the system that can prevent someone from moving on successfully or within their set timeframe.
About you:
- Experience of coordinating projects across multiple teams or people with varying roles to achieve successful outcomes for vulnerable people
- Knowledge and awareness of the intersection of needs in people facing multiple disadvantage & strong understanding of how the intersection & co-occurrence of these issues can make it difficult for people to engage with support or to move on from services.
- The ability to judge the appropriate response to situations that you find challenging or emotionally difficult
- The ability to work as part of a team to ensure that everyone is clear in their roles and provide peer support and guidance when needed, working through any arising conflict professionally and successfully
- Strong time management skills, ability to work on own initiative, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards.

About the Service
Our 24 hour specialist refuge service provides support for homeless women facing multiple disadvantage including but not

- Substance misuse needs, including those who are pre-contemplative mental health and neurodiversity chaotic lifestyles, including those displaying antisocial

- History of offending behaviour and criminal justice.
- History of children being removed from their care and/or at risk of further removals.
- Affected by or at risk of sex working.
The team delivers 121 support in the form of weekly keywork sessions working within a psychologically informed framework to create a support plan with residents and build on skills and competencies, this will be a flexible delivery model and provide medium to high support that offers people a personalised pathway away from homelessness,
which builds on their strengths and aspirations for the future.
In addition, the team is responsible for the building management including Health and Safety, the repairs and living environment.

About the role:

About the role
You’ll take a leading role, working with a wide range of stakeholders, in delivering high-quality analysis of existing data, and collecting data from new sources, to evidence our impact - enabling the charity’s Community Directorate to make more data- and evidence-based decisions.
Our Community team leads our work supporting people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers, ensuring that everyone has access to the best care and support from health services and from us. They deliver services to individuals and communities across the four nations including information and support, community development, volunteer support, and local group support.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with stakeholders from across the Community Directorate to identify opportunities for data and insights to support their work, and gain a deep understanding of the initiatives delivered and supported across the four nations of the UK and review the use of data and insight.
- Work with colleagues in the Data and Tech teams to design and establish new data capture approaches, ensuring data is of high quality and fit for purpose, and collaborate with Analytics & Insight team colleagues to build intuitive, engaging dashboards that enable stakeholders to self-serve for insights
- Conduct high-quality analysis projects that deliver impact through the use of robust techniques and appropriate tools
- Present compelling project outputs and recommendations to internal and external decision makers, using insight to drive positive action for the charity

- Strong numerical skills, SQL knowledge, and report writing skills

This role sits within our Youth Impact Domain, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need support. Spectra are looking for an experienced Therapeutic Services Manager and Clinical Lead to lead, develop, coordinate, and represent Spectra’s counselling services internally and externally at Senior Management level. You will ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality counselling across all of Spectra’s teams (Young People, Sexual health, Trans and Non-binary (TNB) people), supporting and empowering our service users, whilst ensuring clinical work is carried out in accordance with BACP ethical guidelines and Spectra’s protocols.
