Fundraising Lead

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected local charity at an exciting stage of its journey. As Age UK Buckinghamshire looks to strengthen and develop its  fundraising strategy, you'll play a pivotal role in growing income, engaging supporters and helping ensure older people across the county can access the support they need.

Based in Aylesbury with opportunities for hybrid working, you'll lead on the fundraising strategy and delivery, developing income from community fundraising, individual giving, legacies and corporate support. You'll also act as a key ambassador for the charity, building lasting relationships with donors, volunteers and local businesses.

About you

You will:

• Have worked in a charity fundraising role for 3+ years.
• Have a proven track record of generating income and delivering fundraising success.
• Be skilled at engaging and influencing supporters, partners and donors.
• Take a proactive approach to developing new partnerships and fundraising opportunities.
• Have experience of donor stewardship, fundraising campaigns and/or community fundraising.
• Be confident using CRM systems to develop donor relationships, analyse fundraising performance and use insights to shape future activity.
• Be ambitious, self-motivated and driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Key Details

• Salary: £34,000
• 35 hours per week
• Hybrid working
• Driving licence and access to a car required
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours (occasional evening/weekends).
