What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Establish and develop a responsive Business Partner type relationship with stakeholders and Senior Leadership Teams 

• Provide professional advice, support and coaching to Archdeacons and Senior Managers on the interpretation and application of all Ecclesiastical measures, HR policies, processes and procedures, ensuring these are applied fairly and consistently 

• Advise the Senior Leadership on the people management implications of church policy and people strategy 

• Effectively and efficiently manage a portfolio of HR casework and staff recruitment 

• Advise and recommend appropriate courses of action in line with relevant best practice, policies, employment legislation and statutory frameworks 

Who We’re Looking For: 

• At least 3 years’ experience of working at HR Partner or Adviser level in a generalist role covering HR practice 

• Experience of working in an HR role carrying out a range of HR duties, ideally in the church or charity sector 

• Experience of supporting managers in all areas of people matters, including recruitment, disciplinary, grievance, absence and sickness casework 

• Experience of working within a customer focused environment with the ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of people e.g., senior leaders, job applicants, employees

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Executive to play an essential role in our Partnerships Team. This role is responsible for stewarding a portfolio of our ‘proudly supporting’ partnerships and supporting the Partnerships Team at CoppaFeel! to steward some of our most dedicated corporate partners. You will also be key as the first point of contact when enquiries arrive from our website or our corporate inbox and you will manage the stewardship and donor journey of these leads.

The Corporate Partnerships Executive will sit within the Partnerships Team as part of the Fundraising Directorate, and will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Managers and the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager. This role will support the team with administration; such as sending invoices, writing thank you letters, sending out fundraising materials, and much more. This role also will be required to attend fundraising and partnership events to represent CoppaFeel!.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all corporate enquiries receive timely acknowledgement and communication, putting donors on the right supporter journey
• Account manage some of our smaller partnerships throughout the year, and particularly during Breast Cancer Awareness Month
• Support the day-to-day administration of the partnerships team across both account management and new business workstreams
• Assist with delivery of our two largest partnerships as needed, Asda Tickled Pink and Avon
• Lead on stewardship of workplace fundraisers and corporate JustGiving pages
• Support with copy-writing and content creation for internal and external communications channels including website content, social media posts, e-newsletters, blog posts and content for partner channels
• Coordinate fulfilment of fundraising materials requested by partners and supporters
• Support with researching and completing due diligence on partners and prospects
• Support on writing, reviewing and developing proposals and pitches
• Source raffle prizes and gift-in-kind for partnership events
• Work with the Finance Assistant to keep accurate up-to-date income records for partnerships

Our staff are vital to delivering quality services and this role will include direct line management of Key Workers. You will also ensure the safe and effective day to day running of the service, and will support the Service Manager to ensure the service delivers against performance outcomes.

You will have an in depth understanding of substance use, harm reduction and treatment modalities, as well as experience of managing people. The most important thing you’ll bring to this role is your desire and ability to support staff, and make a positive difference to people’s lives.

Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner to work within a multi-disciplinary, early intervention Mental Health Support Team (MHST) to increase and improve emotional wellbeing (5-18 years) and mental health provision within education settings.

You will be part of a Third Sector team of colleagues with a variety of qualifications and experiences who are passionate about supporting all children and young people to access the right support at the right time, including where children may have been excluded, have additional needs or are not attending school.

We may also be able to consider applications from qualified Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs), CAMHS practitioners, or other children and young people specialist practitioners with relevant qualifications.

You will have a caseload of children and adolescents with mild to moderate emotional and mental health difficulties and will deliver evidence-based and time limited 1:1 and group interventions, employing the principles underpinning the national CYP-IAPT programme (Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies). Low intensity interventions (e.g. CBT guided self-help) will be delivered in a range of education settings (primary, secondary, special, alternative provision and sixth form and further education colleges).  Work will include psychoeducation sessions to a range of stakeholders, including children and young people, parents/carers and education staff, promoting a whole school approach to mental health. The role runs throughout the year, and you will be part of our holiday provision, ensuring we can support children all year round.

You will work with people from diverse backgrounds, using interpreters when necessary, and will have a commitment to challenging health inequities, and increasing access to our services for all young people. You will also work closely with colleagues and partners in the Local Authority, CAMHS, education settings where interventions are being delivered and other relevant mental health providers. 

Key Responsibilities

Delivering Interventions and Client Care

• Assess and develop evidence-based intervention plans to meet the mild - moderate needs of CYP with a range of mild – moderate emotional and mental health difficulties, with the support of your supervisor 
• Work in partnership with children, young people, their families and educators in the development of plans, agreeing interventions, goals and outcomes
• Support children and young people, their parents/carers, families and educators in the self-management of presenting difficulties

About the Role

A significant part of the role is managing student recruitment and engagement in the mentoring programme and recruiting mentors from various sectors, including industry professionals. 8. Work closely with school leaders to ensure effective student recruitment and engagement in the programme.
9. Support the work of the Careers and Higher Education Coordinator in the coordination and administration of the careers education and guidance programme, including the Habs Aspire programme.
