You may have thought that leprosy is an ancient Biblical disease, but today someone is diagnosed with leprosy every two minutes. It is a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Stigma and discrimination mean many people with leprosy hide their symptoms for as long as possible, living in terrible fear of what will happen to them. But without fast treatment, leprosy can cause blindness and disable hands and feet.

The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation, a pioneer in our field, with over 150 years’ experience serving people affected by this disease. Chapter2 is a young and growing charity that is uniquely focused on helping one of the most at-risk groups within our communities: fatherless boys. General

Support the continued growth of the charity as it seeks to respond to the significant need in the Reading area for mentors for fatherless boys. In particular, through providing support for the Centralised programme.

Being supportive and sympathetic towards Chapter2’s Christian ethos.
Mentors

Develop and implement a strategy for recruiting new male mentors for the Centralised programme.

Assess and train volunteer male mentors.

Monitor the progress of the mentoring relationship through regular in-house monitoring and supervision. At the minimum you will hold monthly meetings with mentors to review progress either virtually or in person.

Utilise feedback to engage and encourage mentors (videos, statistics, testimonies) and to contribute to the wider Chapter2 external communications.

IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
The opportunity
The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. They will support the scale up of the IPS workforce by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. As Funding and Grants Manager you’ll secure, manage and develop relationships with our funders and partners. Your remit will include every aspect of the grant, funding and partnership lifecycle from developing new opportunities to reporting on live delivery and evaluating completed work.

About the role
Corporate Partnerships are a vital income stream for Habitat for Humanity GB, and with the guidance of our Head of Corporate, the Corporate Partnership Manager will work to maximize fundraising opportunities and strengthen relationships with our current partners.
What the role involves
The Partnerships Manager will help to retain long term support and drive growth within in our portfolio for Habitat for Humanity GB. With an understanding of corporate partnerships and a passion for the charity sector and international humanitarian work, you will work as part of a team to ensure long-term relationships are fostered. Principle activities will include:
· Develop creative and innovative fundraising strategies for corporate partnerships, including writing proposals and pitches.
· Foster long-term relationships with partners through personalized and proactive engagement.

About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a talented Trusts and Foundations Manager who will help to develop and increase income from this emerging income stream for Habitat. With the support of our Head of Philanthropy, the Trusts and Foundations Manager will research new opportunities, and manage the existing pipeline to meet our income targets.
What the role involves
Trusts and foundations are becoming a growing contributor to Habitat’s global programmes and to our work here in the UK, and there is significant potential to develop this further. The role will initially account manage all funders giving up to £50,000, with potential to work on, and take ownership of, larger projects as we grow. Principle activities will include:
Researching new opportunities: Using a variety of sources to proactively identify relevant funding opportunities, matching these with Habitat’s strategic priorities, and planning approaches.
Making applications: Using your exceptional writing skills to synthesise complex information from a range of sources and craft compelling proposals which clearly communicate the impact of Habitat’s programming globally and in the UK, and the synergy with funder criteria.
Stewarding funders: Building our credibility through timely reporting and communication, and tailoring this to the interests of the funder, with the aim of securing repeat and uplifted funding.
