Working in partnership with the Trustee Board, you will help shape and deliver our strategy, strengthen our long-term sustainability and ensure that our services remain safe, accessible, dignified and responsive to local needs.

· Oversee safeguarding, risk management, data protection, health and safety and organisational compliance.

· Support effective budgeting, financial controls and allocation of resources.

· Use service data, feedback and evaluation to improve delivery and demonstrate impact.

· Provide clear and regular reports to the Trustee Board on performance, finances, risks and strategic progress.

About you

You will bring:

· Experience of strategic and operational leadership within a charity, community organisation or similar setting.

· Strong people leadership skills, including experience of managing and developing staff and volunteers.

· Experience of working effectively with a Board of Trustees or equivalent governing body.

· Financial management, budgeting and resource-allocation experience.

· Experience of developing and managing external partnerships.

· The ability to introduce effective systems, processes and organisational improvements.

· Confidence using performance information to support decisions and improve services.

· Practising Christian or demonstrating a strong willingness to support, and act in accordance with, the Foodbank’s Christian ethos and values.
