We're partnering with IMJP to recruit a proactive and strategic Head of Fundraising to lead the organisation’s income generation across individual giving, digital acquisition, trusts, legacies, and appeals. Records Manager & Archivist

The duties within this unique role will be shared across the main London offices of the Methodist Church in Britain and United Reformed Church. The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified and experienced records and archives management professional, who is confident to work across our different sites and systems. You will be a knowledgeable manager of analogue and digital records and archives.  Some familiarity with Church structures and record keeping would be an advantage.

You will need to be able to advise the staff teams for both Churches on records management strategy and practice and support them in the implementation of electronic records management systems (ERMS). You will also be able to undertake collections management tasks such as appraisal, condition assessments, basic cleaning and re-packaging and cataloguing.

You will need to be able to liaise effectively with the archive services where our collections are deposited, and work with our voluntary heritage committees and archival advisers. You will be encouraged to appoint and manage volunteers to build capacity around this work.

The Methodist Church has records from the early 18th century onwards. Its governance records (estimated at c4m items) are deposited in the John Rylands Research Institute & Library, University of Manchester, and its missionary collections in the SOAS Library, University of London.  Records of the Church at a local level are deposited with local authority archive services.  There are also five ‘community archives’ managed by volunteer editors. 

The United Reformed Church was established in 1972, with its roots in the Presbyterian and Congregational Churches. The search for a new location for the centralised deposit and permanent preservation of URC records is a key objective for this post-holder, along with developing and supporting the management of current administrative records. 

Both organisations maintain offsite record storage and occasional travel to them will be a necessary part of this role.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heritage Activity and Evaluation Consultant to support the delivery and evaluation of our tower restoration and heritage project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This role is crucial in ensuring the project meets its approved purposes and outcomes, while providing valuable insights for future development.

Scope of Work

1. We expect that the appointed Heritage Activity Consultant will deliver the following:

· Lead on the successful delivery of the heritage engagement activities as per the Project Plan to achieve The National Lottery Heritage Fund’s outcomes and approved purposes

· Lead on the promotion and publicity of the project

· Lead on the recruitment and management of volunteers

· Liaise with the project partners listed in the Project Plan, as well as any other connections that are created through the project

· Maintain high quality records of all project activities

2. Regular Monitoring Support

Using money raised by National Lottery players, The National Lottery Heritage Fund supports projects that connect people and communities with the UK’s heritage. Telling the Story of St Nicholas Berden is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to raise funds to support the restoration of the tower at St Ncholas church, Berden and link this historic building to the history of the small village that it sits at the heart of. The project involves the local community in the story telling of this beautiful village whilst linking the past to the present through re-enactments, storytelling and the physical, built, environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced safeguarding professional to work as Cathedral Safeguarding Officer.

The post-holder will work with the Canon Chancellor in his role as Chapter Safeguarding Lead (CSL) to raise and maintain awareness and understanding throughout the Cathedral community of the safeguarding needs of children and adults, and actively promote a culture to ensure that safeguarding is of paramount importance.

The post holder will work closely and collaboratively with the Diocesan Safeguarding Team and other Safeguarding bodies.

As part of their role, the Cathedral Safeguarding Officer (CSO) will work closely with the CSL, the Diocesan Safeguarding Team including the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel (DSAP) and the Diocesan Safeguarding Executive Committee (SEC); all other relevant stakeholders including Chapter, Residentiary Canons, staff, the Senior Management Group, Cathedral Safeguarding Committee, King’s School Rochester, and all relevant external agencies, e.g., CofE National Safeguarding Team (NST), Police and Probation services, local authorities, Domestic Abuse Services.  A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is in place between the Cathedral and Diocese concerning shared working relationships and adherence to Diocesan Polices and use of the National Case Management System.

Role Overview and Main Responsibilities

One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. The postholder will also work alongside the CEO to develop and implement a new marketing strategy to enable ANCC to achieve its vision and mission globally. This will include shaping the Marketing and Communications team to support the stakeholder journey for students, partners and donors.

• Enhancing the digital systems of the college for the purposes of marketing
• Work collaboratively with the CEO and Marketing & Communications team to ensure new marketing assets are designed and produced for optimal results

· Generating leads for new applicants, students, partners and donations to the college, optimising our efficiency, and maximising opportunities for engagement.

• Manage the website development project which includes the improvement of the college website for marketing purposes, and improving the User Experience (UXP) ensuring that it is optimised for search engines
• Manage team members for the maintenance and development of the college’s website, SEO, user journey experience, and website assets
• Support and collaborate with the Social Media officer to ensure digital marketing across our platforms, including LinkedIn for digital community engagement.
• Monitor and review performance of digital marketing channels for analytical reporting and making recommendations for improvement.
• Email marketing across stakeholder groups to support recruitment and engagement for the college. This includes the management of Mailchimp and ensuring Donorfy data is up to date.
• Direct marketing to students and partners for college courses, training options, collaborative design, delivery and lifelong learning. This may include digital marketing via website, social media, email, content marketing, print marketing and campaigns.
• Developing a digital marketing campaigns calendar and system for use within the team including the implementation of campaign briefs and tracking of campaigns across ANCC products
• Play an active role within the team to help at promotional events, including national exhibitions and conferences, at the college and elsewhere
• Assist the team with organising college open days and other promotional events (graduations, multicultural evenings, carols at Easneye etc).
• Work creatively with the team to continue to develop strong relationships with ANCC alumni through digital communications, and maximising opportunities for engagement

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure the College meets its legal and regulatory compliance requirements as an educational establishment and a charity.  The focus of the role is to be responsible, with the support of the Training Administration team, for all reporting to regulatory bodies in a timely manner to ensure the College meets the requirements of the Office for Students (OfS), The Open University (OU), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and other regulatory bodies. The postholder will also take on the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) within the organisation and ensure that the college processes all personal data in compliance with UK data protection legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for reporting internal information and meeting the reporting requirements of regulatory organisations – primarily the Office for Students (OfS), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Open University (OU), the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). This will be with the support of the Training Administration team and all other teams within the college.

Role Overview

The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. The postholder will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Communications team, as well as collaborating with other departments within the college.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience of producing copy for fundraising and donor relations purposes, and will be a skilled storyteller who can translate the strategic objectives of the college into resonant narratives, understands donor motivations, and writes with clarity, empathy, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Stewardship Writing

• Develop persuasive and high-quality copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, website, social media etc.)
• Write impact reports and stewardship letters that convey gratitude and demonstrate impact.
• Create case statements, proposals, and presentations for major donor and foundation audiences.
• Oversee the ongoing use of Donorfy CRM to ensure it functions in a way that optimises ANCC's efficiency and makes full use of its functionality; carry out system integrations as needed.

Storytelling & Content Development

• Interview students, alumni, partners, staff and donors to develop authentic, mission-driven stories.
• Adapt organizational content for various donor segments, ensuring a consistent voice and message.
• Collaborate within the Marketing & Communications team to pair copy with strong visuals, and input to other priority projects as required.

Editing & Quality Control

• Proofread and edit donor communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the college ethos and brand guidelines.
• Maintain a consistent, donor-focused tone across all written materials.

Collaboration & Strategy

• Work closely with the members of the Marketing & Communications team to align donor messaging with campaign goals.
• Collaborate with other teams across the college including the Academic, Training and Finance Teams.
• Contribute to the development of content calendars and communication strategies.
• Track and analyse response rates and engagement to inform future copy.

· Fully participate in All Nations community activities when possible.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years’ professional writing experience, preferably in donor relations and fundraising communications.
• Proven ability to write clear, compelling, and engaging copy and marketing materials for diverse audiences.
• Strong interviewing, research, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent editing and proofreading abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with donor stewardship best practices and fundraising language.
• Experience of producing and tracking fundraising campaigns, tracking impact, reporting and lesson learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and engage cross-culturally.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team and wider organisational departments.
• Experience with CRM or donor database systems.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of direct response fundraising principles.
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital content best practices, and awareness of upcoming trends and changes in the sector, including best use of AI.
• Experience of working with Canva and other document editing software which pair visuals with text.

We are seeking someone with great administrative and people skills to join our friendly team (16 hours per week) to support our Administration and Supporter Relations functions while being the welcoming face of Yeldall Manor. As Administration Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support for the Administration & Supporter Relations Manager and other staff with tasks such as processing and recording residents’ leave applications, preparing thank you letters, assisting in the preparation and despatch of the monthly prayer diary and supporting the wider staff team with other administrative tasks as applicable (copying, laminating, data entry, document creation and editing).

As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and residents. You'll warmly welcome guests and help direct enquiries as needed, and handle reception duties with professionalism. This includes staffing the reception desk, accessing calendars, sending emails, and performing other basic administrative tasks to keep the front office running smoothly.

Maintenance Assistant – Yeldall Manor, Reading

Are you practical, reliable, and passionate about using your skills to make a real difference in people’s lives? Yeldall Manor, a Christian residential rehabilitation centre near Reading, is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated team.

In this role, you’ll help keep our beautiful grounds and buildings in excellent condition, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents as they rebuild their lives. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you’ll carry out day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and small projects across the site. You’ll use your own trade skills and coordinate with contractors and volunteers to complete tasks in plumbing, electrical work, general building maintenance, and appliance repair.

You’ll also play a key part in our planned maintenance programme, keeping records up to date and advising on improvements where needed. Occasionally, you’ll supervise and support residents as they take part in maintenance work, helping them develop new skills and confidence as part of their recovery journey.

Beyond the practical side, this role is about people. You’ll be part of a caring, faith-based community that supports men overcoming substance misuse. The Role

The Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for staff and visitors, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience through face-to-face interactions and telephone communications.

Collaborating closely with the Facilities Manager and job share partner, the role involves efficiently handling queries, managing the reception email account, and coordinating visitor bookings and parking logistics.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Translations Editor (French) to join our Communication for Development team. This role ensures the quality and delivery of Tearfund's French translations for audiences primarily in Francophone Africa.

You will manage translation workflows for a wide range of content—from publications and training materials to digital and multimedia resources—working with a network of freelance translators and proofreaders. You will also contribute to strengthening Tearfund's translation standards and digital processes, including the use of our translation software management and AI tools.
