This is an exciting opportunity for a major donor fundraiser to join CSW, to initiate and develop strong relationships with individuals and corporates who have the capacity to make significant donations to CSW and to steward these relationships towards deeper engagement with CSW year after year.
Key Responsibilities (a full list of responsibilities is listed in the Application Pack)
- Develop a Major Gifts strategy that delivers agreed income goals and leads to increased and multi-year financial commitments from Major Donors.
- Develop individual cultivation plans for Major Donors that provide opportunities for them to make impactful gifts, pray and campaign.
- Research and write funding proposals and cases for support and adapt as needed.
- Produce and send regular letters and reports demonstrating the impact of gifts.
- Develop relationships with a small pool of Corporates that leads to increased engagement and income generation.
The Person
You are an excellent communicator, self-motivated and passionate about enabling donors to channel their wealth to meet the greatest needs. You have strong inter-personal skills which you are able to use to build internal and external relationships. You are able to inspire people to make a difference through their giving and you are just as passionate about communicating the impact of their gift. You are proactive and willing to work well with others to achieve targets.

Essential Criteria (a full list of essential criteria is listed in the Application Pack)
- A minimum of three years’ major donor fundraising experience for a charity.
- Proven track record of securing five-figure and six-figure gifts from major donors.
- Experience of providing excellent stewardship to major donors.
- Excellent communication skills, especially verbal and written English
- Writing compelling funding applications/ proposals that match donors’ interests with CSW’s mission and activities.

Key Responsibilities
National Growth
- Develop strategy for national growth and ensure effective delivery of strategy, with a focus on growing our work in unserved and developing regions of the UK and building a diverse range of church partners
- Engage with thinking around the intersection between social impact, employability and the church to ensure we are at the cutting edge within the sector, developing an understanding of local needs and challenges and how Resurgo can best inspire and equip partners to catalyse sustainable and impactful social change.
- Work with wider leadership team to understand and fine tune barriers to growth, including considering recruitment and operations support needed by partner churches, and funding avenues and the operation of the seed fund, which provides start-up funding to churches in the early years of launching a Spear centre.
Pipeline Development
- Identify, build, and develop relationships with potential partners through networking at Christian conferences and running our own events, identifying and introducing our work to key networks, and offering relevant coaching sessions as a means for churches to understand Resurgo’s coaching, employability and impact management.
- Introduce potential and existing partner churches to the Spear programme as a means of creating sustainable social impact in their community, particularly with young people, and provide opportunities for them to engage with the programme with a view to considering launching a centre in their own community where this is a good fit.
- Build a pipeline of potential Spear partners, and steward these relationships from the point of introduction, through to confirmation of programme launch, reporting to the Senior Leadership team against monthly KPIs and annual growth targets.
- Work closely with the Impact team and Director of External Relations to consider the ‘client’ journey of a church from point of initial interest to uptake of one of our programmes
New Centre Set-up and Implementation
- Oversee a team who project manage the launch of new Spear centres in partnership with local churches, including overseeing all
practical and operational aspects of the centre setup, recruiting new coaches, and ensuring required policies and systems
are in place.

IHP is recruiting a Logistics Officer to become part of our growing logistics team who coordinate the safe and responsible donation of medical products to where the needs are greatest, so that people don’t suffer needlessly from treatable illnesses.
As a Logistics Officer you will play an integral role in IHP’s work arranging the shipping of donated medicines and medical supplies, for example our essential health packs and antibiotics, ensuring their secure transportation to diaster hit and vulnerable communities such as Sudan and Gaza.

- Securing cost effective shipping quotes from some of the largest freightforwarders in the UK

About the role
- You'll research trusts and foundations funding opportunities to which IHP can apply.

About the role
The Digital Optimisation Analyst is instrumental in advancing Christian Aid's digital strategy and supporting colleagues in achieving their ambitious digital, fundraising and supporter engagement goals. Through utilising measurable data and analytical tools such as Google Analytics, the role provides in-depth campaign analyses, performance reports, and a deep dive into users' online activities and behaviours. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager with drive, intellectual curiosity, and excellent communication skills to join our small but dynamic Programme Management Office (PMO). The Project Manager will co-ordinate delivery of a small portfolio of projects within the Agile framework and will need to overcome challenges, escalate issues and risks and drive momentum. The role holder will need to be prepared to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and get stuck in!
The role holder will also support the Head of PMO and Operations Optimisation with PMO management, including timely, high-quality reporting (internally and to trustees) and tracking key performance indicators.

About the role
We require someone who is able to provide a range of business support functions to the Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Department (PPC), specifically the reporting and monitoring of grants-funded projects delivered within PPC and the administration of grants out to partners including use of our international programme management system.
The post holder will champion ways of working across the department that align with Christian Aid's strategy and systems and work closely with the Data Strategy and Transformation Lead and relevant teams to drive operational excellence and innovation that leads to smooth and effective business processes. This will include the coordination of a new PPC quarterly dashboard to track progress, improve decision making and assess impact.
The post holder may also be asked to coordinate and administrate discrete projects within the department as required such as refreshing the departmental intranet on SharePoint or work collaboratively with colleagues under the direction of a project manager within project teams. You will also be required to act as short-term cover for the Director's Executive Assistant during periods of absence and provide administrative advice for PPC staff.
About you
To thrive in this role, you will need to be comfortable with data and applying logical thinking to gathering and analysing information including the financial data required for monitoring and budgeting. You will have the ability to switch seamlessly between core tasks and project activities. You will bring your experience in creating and using spreadsheets for financial and information management, including use of web / intranet-based systems, databases, and good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. You will have a relevant degree or postgraduate qualification and motivation to work in the charity sector and international development.

About the role
This role is a job-share working with an existing Executive Assistant who is spending part of her time supporting the Director of Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns (PPC) and the PPC department. This role entails working with a wide range of groups internal and external to Christian Aid. The role will support the Director, taking on key pieces of work, including minutes taking and report of meetings, assisting with email, liaising with colleagues and other assistants, coordinating hosted events and stakeholder lists, planning logistics, booking travel and accommodation, editing and proofreading documents, conducting research, scheduling appointments and other administrative tasks, as appropriate.
About you
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, research and organisational skills with a bias for action, the ability to think laterally and deliver results. You will have a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the organisation. You are someone that keeps calm under pressure and is able to manage assignments with sound judgement and with multitasking capabilities. You will have an eye for detail, good IT skills, strong interpersonal skills and the motivation and interest in the Charity Sector or International Development. Since its foundation in 1799, CMS has been a significant actor in the history of Christian mission in the UK, and in the process has generated a huge body of archive material, which is of interest to many researchers around the world. The archivist shapes the ongoing development of the archives and is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management and administration to best practice standards. The role is to care for, develop and promote the archive records of CMS in the UK in such a way that they are available for all present and likely future needs of staff, members and supporters, overseas partner churches and members of the public with identified research interests. An important part of this is to manage the archiving of digital material in a sustainable way.
