The main objectives of the role:

• To provide a confidential and ffective counselling service for children and young people 
• When working in a school, to work as Beacon’s main representative  and ambassador in the school and the community.

• To work flexibly and cover additional schools or areas at different locations if required. 
• To manage your caseload through working with your supervisor and maintain appropriate documentation of your work.

• To establish and maintain excellent working relationships with key staff in schools and other partnership organisations, liaising, as appropriate, within BACP confidentiality guidelines

We currently have a permanent IT Contracts Manager position available with a prominent UK charity.

This new role is an exciting opportunity to further develop robust and proportionate approaches to managing security and travel risk across our global operations. About the Role

As our data savvy Data Selections Officer, you will update and write SQL scripts to enable WaterAid UKs fundraising mass communications, and champion our supporter’s experience ensuring supporters receive communications that are relevant to them. 

In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders across Fundraising, interpreting their data requests into SQL scripts, and work closely with the Data Engineering team to update our data warehouse as the organisations data requirements evolve. 

You’ll also: 

• Review current SQL scripts and optimise them
• Work with teams on setting up, and updating our supporter journeys
• Advise stakeholders on using data effectively, creating variable outputs or segmentation for testing
• Work closely with the Analytics team, implementing their findings and collaborating on propensity models
• Champion data quality, and work with relevant teams to constantly improve the data in the data warehouse.

Requirements

The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail and be able to interpret natural language data requests into complex SQL queries.

To be successful, you’ll need: 

• Experience of writing SQL syntax, including the creation of views, stored procedures and processes.
• Good knowledge of data protection legislation and its application.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Experience working in a Fundraising or charity environment.
• Demonstrable understanding of a data warehouse.

About the role

We have received a Homewards Fund grant to provide a Housing Rights Worker to deliver community outreach work targeting families and young people in Bournemouth.  We will be working in partnership with The Bourne Academy, a secondary school and sixth form, to engage families who might not otherwise get the help they need, targeting support before crisis point to help prevent homelessness. Where families are already homeless, processes will be in place to reduce the impact on pupils’ learning.

Your role will be to deliver casework support, advice drop-ins and awareness raising sessions for parents, housing rights awareness workshops for Academy staff and tenancy rights and responsibilities advice for sixth form students to equip them to manage their own accommodation once living independently. You will provide practical assistance, advice and advocacy and links with other Shelter services, such as our Legal team and DIY Skills Adviser, to enable households to resettle, prevent homelessness and improve their circumstances.

Our grant from Homewards will allow us to test a new model of working, in partnership with The Bourne Academy. We are grateful for Homewards support and hope it will make a long term difference to families and young people in West and East Howe.

About you

You will have the ability to engage and work collaboratively with individuals, communities and with all stakeholders, including running group workshops and presentations. You have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy, with the ability to progress to specialist level knowledge. Essential to the role will be good time management, carrying out casework related interviews, maintaining detailed case records and offering advice and support to clients to inform their decisions.

We have bases in Poole and Weymouth and contracts to deliver Housing First support across the Dorset Council area, along with Legal Aid Advice, including a court desk service at Bournemouth and Weymouth County Courts.

Active in our communities, our Housing Rights Workers will deliver advice sessions within local organisations and offer advocacy to individuals and groups to empower them to resolve their situation. Woman’s Trust is the leading independent charity providing free and confidential mental healthcare to domestic abuse survivors throughout London and the South-East. We are looking for someone with a strong news sense and experience in Press and Public Relations. You will have a demonstrable background of proactively getting organisations involved in the public conversations that matter – while reflecting the confidential nature and sensitivities around domestic abuse and mental health. We aim to proactively generate more awareness of our work and its impact, including our unique position in the women’s and mental health sectors.

The role will be responsible for proactive and reactive media relations; effective engagement on social media; developing engaging content for our website; drafting copy for and producing marketing materials, including our e-newsletter. A highly autonomous role, you will work closely with our Chief Executive, fundraising, counselling, and research teams. You will also be engaging regularly with the Board of trustees, supporting our Chief Executive in our work and mission.

You will also support the coordination and facilitation of SEA’s Experts by Experience Group (EEG), moderate our online Survivor Forum, and contribute to delivering our Survivor Engagement Strategy. You will help ensure that survivor voices - especially those from underrepresented communities - shape our services, policy and communications work. 

You would be joining SEA at an exciting time, as we strengthen our approaches to inclusive survivor engagement and implement a new strategy to widen participation and reach.

You will be a skilled relationship-builder with strong experience of working with Black and minoritised communities and/or community-led organisations.

You will have excellent communication and facilitation skills, and experience supporting or engaging survivors and/or marginalised groups in a trauma-informed and inclusive way. 

You will bring a strong understanding of anti-discriminatory and survivor-centred practice, and a commitment to widening participation in systems change work. 

Experience supporting collaborative engagement projects or survivor groups would be desirable, as would experience moderating online spaces or forums.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation at a time of growth and development. As HR Officer, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of HR operations, supporting the organisation's people and culture goals.

Working closely with the Head of HR and Corporate Services, you’ll provide expert, proactive support across the employee lifecycle—from recruitment to training and performance—to help create a high-performing, inclusive workplace that supports - 1,000 residents across London.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Coordinating and administering all stages of the employee lifecycle

We are currently recruiting a Skin Camouflage Practitioner Co-ordinator (Wales) (0.6 FTE, spread across 3-4 days) to deliver and support our vital Skin Camouflage Service – a unique, life-enhancing service that helps individuals regain confidence and feel more in control of their appearance.

Skin Camouflage Practitioner Co-ordinator (Wales)
Hours: Part-time 22.2 hours / week (preference for 15.7 hours spread across 2-3 days per week, plus one 6.5 hour clinic day required (on either Tuesday or Friday).
Location: Hybrid: Mainly home based; one clinic day a week in Bridgend (Tuesday or Friday).
Travel required: Occasional – in Wales/England for meetings, training; quarterly travel to staff away day.
Contract: Fixed term for 22 months (with a view to becoming permanent, dependant on expected ongoing funding arrangement).
Salary: Range £28,227 to £30,819 FTE.

Main purpose of the role

Changing Faces are launching a brand-new pilot Skin Camouflage Service in South Wales. We’re looking for a dedicated and organised Skin Camouflage Practitioner Coordinator to help make it happen.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver in-person Skin Camouflage appointments, supporting people with visible differences.
• Promote the service and build connections with local communities and health professionals.
• Support the new service set-up, including clinics, documentation, and Welsh translations.
• Coordinate and administrate appointments remotely and manage client enquiries.
• Signpost clients to other Changing Faces services as needed.
• Contribute to service development alongside the wider team.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a life-changing service while helping us grow our reach and make a big impact across Wales.

We are seeking a professional, empathetic individual with strong administrative skills and either experience or a talent in cosmetic artistry or colour matching. A background in nursing, therapy, or another healthcare role would be an advantage in the clinic-based environment.

Following training, the role will involve delivering one 6.5-hour weekday clinic per week. In this setting, you will provide Skin Camouflage colour matching, application, tuition, and guidance to individuals affected by a visible difference.

In addition, you will work 15.7 hours remotely across 2–3 weekdays. This part of the role includes:

• Promoting the Skin Camouflage Service across Wales.
• Coordinating service setup, including documentation and translation.
• Building relationships with healthcare professionals and community partners.
• Managing appointments and client enquiries via phone and email.
• Maintaining databases and supporting the smooth, efficient running of clinics.

You will be an integral part of our Skin Camouflage team, helping to administrate and deliver a compassionate, professional service that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

We are looking for

• Fluent in Welsh and English, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills to engage clearly, logically, and appropriately with a wide range of audiences.
• Proven administrative ability, including the efficient use of administration systems, and confident use of the Microsoft Office suite, video conferencing tools, and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience is an advantage but not essential).
• Experience or natural talent in cosmetic artistry or colour matching, with an excellent eye for colour and visual detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen empathetically and support vulnerable clients, while maintaining professional boundaries and emotional resilience.
• Good understanding of policies and procedures, particularly in relation to safeguarding, and a strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of clients, staff, and volunteers.
• Excellent organisational skills and a systematic approach to work, with the ability to prioritise effectively between competing demands.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy even when working under pressure.
• Experience of contributing positively in a busy, team-focused environment, showing strong collaboration and support for colleagues.
• A flexible, proactive approach with a willingness to learn, adapt, and suggest improvements to our service and organisational processes.
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to handle client data accurately and securely.
