Are you an experienced charity leader with the credibility and drive to champion meaningful change in the criminal justice system? The Criminal Justice Alliance (CJA) is seeking an exceptional Director (Maternity Cover).

The CJA brings together charities, academics, and individuals with lived and professional experience. We pride ourselves on being the only completely independent member body in the criminal justice sector. As we approach our landmark 20th anniversary in 2027 you will play a vital role in working closely with our members to operationalise our 2027–2030 strategy. This is a varied role responsible for maintaining the CJA’s profile, amplifying the work of our 200+ members, and driving systemic change.

We are looking for a leader with a steady hand to provide guidance for our small but mighty team and who will maintain operational momentum, champion our mission, and secure our ongoing financial sustainability.
