Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) Complex Needs and Community Services have rapidly expanded. About You and the Role

The Mental Health Administrator will be a key member of the Complex Needs and Community services, providing effective administrative support to the team, ensuring accurate and effective policies, communication and procedures are in place.

Key responsibilities

• To support the Complex Needs and Community teams to process referrals and make 72-hour initial referral phone calls
• To be the first point of contact for HMN callers via telephone, email and in person – providing high quality service to every person
• To undertake responsibility for admin duties for the Complex Needs and Community teams, including the processing of mail, responding to internal/external e-mails, word processing, entering accurate statistics, sending out reminders, staff training audits, record keeping audits, diary management and letter writing.
• To work in line with standardised administrative systems across HMN
• To work with the Team Leader for Peer Mentoring for groups to manage admin inboxes, send out meeting place invites and coordinate Peer Mentoring services
• To support with monitoring and evaluating services

• To support the team with recruitment admin and staff induction
• To provide sickness/annual leave cover for our wellbeing centre admin teams, answering the main switchboard to answer enquiries

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK’s growing Community Fundraising team as the Senior Regional Fundraising Manager, where you will lead, inspire and empower your talented team of Regional Fundraisers and Fundraising Managers to unlock the full potential of our highest-value supporters—individuals, community groups, and regional corporate partners—across the UK.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our community fundraising strategy by crafting ambitious regional plans, nurturing high-performing teams, and driving innovation in supporter engagement. Championing a relationship-led approach, ensuring every supporter feels valued and inspired to raise vital funds. You will lead collaboration with other teams such as National Corporate and the Marketing and Communications team to drive new business pipelining and amplify Community Fundraising campaigns, develop new fundraising products, and represent Dementia UK at external events and sector initiatives.

You will be responsible for effectively recruiting, training and developing staff, creating an aspirational culture where the team are motivated to meet and exceed targets. Using insight, analysis and audience understanding, you will inform strategic decisions and continuously evolve our regional fundraising approach to maximise impact and income.

We are looking for you to bring a strong background in community fundraising and a track record in growing fundraising income. Confidence in setting and managing large budgets, reporting on KPIs and adjusting plans as necessary is essential. An understanding of delivering community fundraising products and scaling ideas that support donor acquisition and retention is vital, with the ability to use insight to shape pipeline and stewardship planning. You’ll also be an experienced team leader who can motivate and guide others to deliver results.

To lead and deliver Richmond CVS’s support services for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across the borough. This includes providing high-quality advice, training, and development support, alongside managing key projects and coordinating external consultants.

The role is central to strengthening the VCSE sector, with a focus on organisational development, fundraising, and governance. It also involves working closely with statutory partners including Richmond Council and the South West London Integrated Care Board (ICB), ensuring that VCSE organisations are well-positioned to engage with and influence local systems.

The postholder will also lead the design and delivery of new initiatives, including externally funded programmes, and will have the opportunity to shape and evolve the role in response to emerging needs.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Development

Provide tailored advice and support to VCSE organisations on governance, fundraising, income generation, and strategic planning.

Lead the development and delivery of training programmes, workshops, and resources.

Support organisations to strengthen their legal structures, policies, and compliance.

Promote inclusive and accessible service delivery.

Leadership & Strategy

Provide strategic leadership for RCVS’s capacity building and project work.

Contribute to organisational strategy and planning.

Represent RCVS at external meetings, networks, and partnerships, including with statutory bodies.

Project & Programme Management

Manage capacity building projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed outcomes.

Monitor and evaluate project impact, producing reports for funders and stakeholders.

Lead the development and delivery of consultancy projects, including scoping, contracting, and oversight.

Manage relationships with external consultants to ensure quality and consistency.

Line Management

Lead and support a small team, coordinating workplans and fostering collaboration.

Support staff development and performance

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with local partners including Richmond Council, South West London ICB, local and national funders, and other infrastructure bodies.

Facilitate networking and collaboration across the VCSE sector.

Act as a key point of contact for external engagement and partnership development.

Encourage digital innovation through partnerships and shared learning.

Operational & Financial Oversight

Contribute to budget planning and financial monitoring for capacity building and project work.

Lead on income generation for RCVS’s development work, including identifying funding opportunities, contributing to bids and contracts, and managing funded programmes.

Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding, data protection, and health & safety.

The Cardinal Hume Centre works to prevent and tackle youth and family homelessness.

We are looking to recruit a Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to maximize the income the Cardinal Hume Centre receives from trusts and foundations. This is an exciting role in our Fundraising team that will contribute to the delivery of the six-figure trust income stream budget (£585k for 2025/26) through rigorous pipeline management, maintain excellent donor relations through timely reporting and assist with trust engagement and fundraising activities. You will also manage the small trust pipeline – proactively seeking out new trust funding opportunities; submitting high quality applications on time; meeting reporting requirements; contributing to monthly management information and quarterly reforecasting.
