Embrace’s Fundraising & Communications cluster comprises expertise in fundraising, marketing, communication, web shop, supporter engagement and retention. Cluster Purpose:

Strengthen Embrace’s communication, education, and fundraising efforts to drive growth so that more people engage with our content; more donors are attracted to support; and the UK church is more deeply engaged with the cause; enabling us to fund more work in the region and generate a deeper understanding of Christian service in the Middle East.

Role Purpose:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of digital marketing campaigns – including planning, execution, and optimisation – as part of Embrace’s acquisition strategy.
• Provide subject matter expertise and execute the digital marketing aspects of project briefs commissioned by internal teams, ensuring effective and insight-led digital approaches that support their objectives.
• Coordinate with Fundraising & Communications teams and external partners to ensure campaigns drive donor acquisition and scalable growth.
• Act as the digital lead, championing a ‘digital-first’ approach across projects, and working with Shared Services on data and systems to enable a transition to marketing that is digital by default.

What success looks like:

• Digital campaigns delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with acquisition strategy.
• Key Performance targets achieved or exceeded (e.g. donor acquisition volume, conversion rates, ROI).
• Strong collaboration with Fundraising & Communications colleagues and external partners.

The role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced, hands-on digital marketer to shape how we connect with teachers across the UK.

Anderson Quigley is excited to be working with the Teenage Cancer Trust on this critical transformational leadership role within the senior leadership team. As Associate Director of Data and Digital Transformation, you will shape a vision for Digital, Data and Technology as strategic enablers of impact. You’ll work with teams across the charity to shape sustainable services with and for young people with cancer, increase our audience reach, drive sustainable income generation, and demonstrate our impact. You’ll shine a light on the value of data, build collective confidence, and connect technology potential to measurable outcomes. You’ll influence horizontally, organise great people, and deliver value fast through product ways of working. As a leader, you’ll bring energy and influence, maturity of thought, and the ability to design, prioritise, and deliver.

This is a hands-on, delivery‑focused leadership role for someone who can build practical solutions, develop teams, and embed a service‑oriented, user‑centred approach across the charity. We’re looking for a creative, energetic, and influential product minded leader to help Teenage Cancer Trust repurpose digital and data toward service impact. This is not a traditional DDaT director role. You’ll work across teams to shape our services, shine a light on the value of data, build collective confidence, and connect technology potential to measurable outcomes. You don’t need to have held a formal leadership title—but you must operate as a leader, bring energy, maturity of thought, and the ability to design, prioritise, and deliver.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership background across digital, data or technology, ideally within a small, innovative organisation. This does not have to be at a senior level but evidenced in your application by mentoring/influencing and bringing people together.
• Credible technical knowledge and up to date understanding of developments in technology.
• Deep experience of working effectively with other professions and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience of service design in a charity, public sector or service delivery organisation.

The Role:

The Digital Transformation Officer will support CCT’s strategy with the replacement/upgrade of its current digital information systems with a new fit for purpose digital environment and manage the Trust’s move to this new environment.

The Digital Transformation Officer will work with all teams within the Trust, across all levels of the organisation, assisting with implementing CCT’s Digital Transformation Strategy. They will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks involved in populating and documenting the system and the supporting infrastructure as it develops.

As the Digital Transformation Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting CCT’s strategic objectives by collaborating with cross-functional teams that leverage agile methodologies, data-driven approaches, and digital technologies. A key focus of the role will be addressing the behavioural and cultural factors that influence the success of digital transformation— using structured engagement, training, and communication approaches to support adoption of new systems.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support the planning, delivery and optimisation of Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s digital marketing activity across key channels, reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager.

This is a hands-on digital role focused on day-to-day delivery, advertising and optimisation across the charity’s digital platforms. The Digital Marketing Officer will play a key role in ensuring digital advertising channels are engaging and effective in supporting fundraising, brand awareness and supporter engagement.

The role works closely with colleagues across Marketing, Fundraising and Communications, and supports the delivery of digital activity set by the Marketing & Communications Manager.

Main Duties/Tasks

Digital Duties:

Content Creation, Management, and Campaign Support

• Creating, editing, and publishing content across the charity’s digital channels (website, email, and ad channels) in conjunction with the Content Creation Officer and Marketing Officers.
• Managing day-to-day updates to the charity websites using the CMS, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and aligned to brand guidelines. Maintain high standards of brand identity across all digital touch points.
• Building and sending email communications using the charity’s email platform, supporting segmentation, stewardship and supporter journeys.
• Supporting the delivery of integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns through digital channels.
• Adapting digital copy for different audiences and platforms, including web pages, email campaigns and digital appeals.

Digital Marketing Optimization, Reporting, and Budget Support

• Optimising and supporting budget monitoring for AI Search, Paid Search, SEO, and Google Grant campaigns.

As our Senior Digital Marketing Officer you will be responsible for boosting our income through online engagement, marketing and stewardship. The role includes responsibility for delivering paid advertising across various platforms (currently META, PPC, Reddit and TikTok) driving income through direct gifts, challenge event participation and other income generation activities.

Writing, designing and delivering our supporter emails, and overall supporter journeys, is also a key component of the role, boosting digital engagement with a view to driving additional income over time.

When it comes to this work, you'll be our lead for this area internally but you'll also have the support of our digital agency, who we maintain a close working relationship with, the wider fundraising team and the organisation as a whole. You will also benefit from several years of testing, insight gathering and proven results to build upon.

No formal qualifications are needed and charity sector experience is not a requirement. We encourage everyone with the appropriate skills, experience and potential to apply.

On a day-to-day basis, you will help NEON’s partners develop effective content and digital comms strategy - and offer support and training in both digital skills and ways to stay safe online. You will centre anti-oppression in your work and be able to help people stay safe online, especially those from marginalised backgrounds. You’ll be across emerging trends, using platforms effectively and aware of how to make use of digital to empower our base and persuade people to our causes. You will be across what’s happening online and in the news - and be able to quickly jump on opportunities to tell a compelling alternative story.

This project is part of a wider Communications Hub in which you’ll play an active role, helping to develop the overall strategy and direction of the project. The overall aim of the Hub is to strengthen the communication skills and abilities of progressives in the UK. The Hub has five programmes, and Digital will be the sixth programme.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the strategy development and delivery of the digital comms programme
2. Set up and manage a reactive social media unit which clips and generates new content for spokespeople, working with a pool of consultants to create fresh digital content
3. Work with the rest of the Comms Hub to develop a package of support for online influencers who have the backing of social movements, including broadcast media training, messaging insights and production tools and techniques
4. Project manage a schedule of digital media trainings - including a follow-up to our flagship spokespeople training and a one-day digital strategy training for members of the wider NEON network
5. Provide digital comms support to our spokespeople and allied organisations
6. Working with a digital crisis comms support service - helping spokespeople skill up in countering misinformation and disinformation, and stepping in with tailored support for spokespeople receiving hate online
7. Give regular insight to our partners on digital trends, changes to the media landscape and shifts in the ways digital content is shaping public opinion
8. Play an active role in the wider Comms Hub, attending and feeding into key messaging and narrative development and supporting the Co-Directors with overall strategy
9. Monthly oversight and control over the Spokesperson Network finances

Essential

1. A track record of creating or managing innovative projects and bringing ideas to fruition, which push forward a progressive agenda.

The Digital Marketing Manager is accountable for the delivery and performance of our website, email, SEO, PPC, paid-social and CRM marketing, ensuring all our digital channels are optimised for both awareness and income generation.

This is a hands-on role which will see you deliver key activity as well as lead a small team in prioritising and evaluating work across digital channels, using data and insight to inform decisions. To spearhead and champion our digital marketing transformation, you’ll need to be a results driven and experienced professional, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with our income growth objectives.
• Deliver and continually improve how we connect with our audiences, primarily through (but not limited to) strategic use of email, website management, SEO, PPC, paid social and CRM marketing.
