Role purpose
Adoption UK is undertaking a major digital transformation, initially focused on CRM and website development. We’re looking for a talented digital and data enthusiast to lead this transformation programme and subsequently oversee our ongoing digital development. This will be aligned to our strategy and preferred technology stack, and will include managing key relationships with our digital partners.
You’ll refine and implement Adoption UK’s digital strategy, leading our digital transformation project to successful completion. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project’s vision and scope meet the business and operational needs of the charity. The role includes direct line management of a Digital Manager and matrix project management of existing roles in data management and website content management. An important part of your role will be proactively identifying opportunities to integrate digital approaches into all current and upcoming projects.

Like many charities, we’ve historically developed our digital framework and footprint organically, with insufficient web and CRM integration and functionality, duplication, and data silos. This has resulted in data management and website capabilities that don’t fully meet our users’ needs. We’re addressing this by:

Key accountabilities
- Lead the refinement and implementation of the charity’s digital strategy.
- Lead a project team to successfully deliver change in line with the agreed project timeline.
- Manage the governance and assurance framework for delivering our website and CRM digital transformation programme.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation and with current and future digital partners. Use these networks to:
- Promote digitalfirst principles and best practice, and raise awareness of our work.
- Increase internal stakeholders’ understanding of the benefits and opportunities that digital approaches bring.
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase our digital capability and integrate digital into current and upcoming work.
- Revise and deploy a performance assessment framework to track individual digital projects and ensure services comply with digital and data bestpractice standards.
- Assess and report on Adoption UK’s digital and data maturity, ensuring compliance with data security standards.
- Manage our external digital and IT partners, including contracts and performance monitoring.
Essential criteria
- A strong understanding of digital and technology trends, with experience implementing a Microsoft based technology stack based technology stack.
- Experience in successfully delivering digital change projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex or technical information clearly and simply.
- Experience of building relationships with, engaging, and influencing internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Able to engage effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Experience working at a senior level to deliver change or implement strategy.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changing circumstances and tight timelines.
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in an organisation that uses agile development methodologies.
- A strong understanding of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) principles and approach, and of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) principles, audit, and compliance.

You’re confident working in Google Analytics 4 and have experience with tools like BigQuery, tagging/tracking platforms, session replay and customer‑feedback tools.
You will also bring:
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to shape analytical questions, define success measures and bring structure to open‑ended questions and messy datasets.

About the Role
The Director of Programmes is a new senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the integration, effectiveness, and evidence-based delivery of Screen Share's sector-leading programmes. The role sits at the heart of the charity and will oversee the development and execution of programmatic plans that deliver our new organisational strategy. It will oversee and advance our key programme areas, including digital access, digital skills, digital connectivity and IT repair.
The postholder will be responsible for the smooth running of our charitable programmes, managing staff and ensuring our monitoring and evaluation and safeguarding is of a high quality. They will work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure a high-quality and multi-faceted support product for thousands of refugees across the UK, managing risk and budgets accordingly. They will also work closely with the Head of Outreach to ensure we are communicating our social value proposition effectively.
The Director of Programmes will play a crucial role in translating strategic objectives into clear operational outcomes, overseeing the performance of programme managers, and leading a collaborative approach to programme delivery across the organisation. They will also deputise for the CEO, ensuring strong organisational leadership as the charity continues to grow and mature.
The Director of Programmes will also champion the integration of lived experience leadership throughout the organisation, ensuring that the perspectives and expertise of refugees and those with lived experience of digital exclusion are embedded within programme design, delivery, decision-making and strategic direction at Screen Share.
The postholder will also serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring that safeguarding practices are fully integrated into all programme strands and that our safeguarding process and practices are up-to-date, understood and activated in an inclusive and trauma-informed way.

The Digital Performance Advisor will be the driving force behind understanding and improving their online performance. This role is central to how they use data and insight to make impactful decisions across digital, fundraising, campaigning and supporter engagement.
This is a specialist analyst role and the organisation’s subject matter expert in Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Your essential skills and experience:
- Proven expertise in digital analysis and insight, with experience producing data-driven reports and actionable recommendations

You’ll work closely with the Head of Digital, digital marketing team and key stakeholders across the organisation to bring our strategic brand to life and help us achieve our aim of getting Myeloma UK in front of anyone impacted by myeloma.
You’ll lead our digital team to increase our reach and engagement and build trust and loyalty with our online communities.

You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering digital campaigns that have real-world impact - from bringing in leads for legacy campaigns to raising seven figures for individual giving. You’ll take a client brief and lead it through every stage: creative ideation, execution, optimisation, and analysis.

- Experience creating post-campaign reports and communicating impact

This is an exciting opportunity to join The National Lottery Community Fund as a Digital Service Manager.
The Fund’s digital live service is the front door to our communities. It encompasses the key touchpoints that users engage with on a daily basis to access our funding. You will have responsibility for managing the Fund’s digital live service on a day to day basis This includes ensuring it consistently meets business needs and user expectations. You will also have the opportunity to help improve our service.
You will be part of our Digital team. We’re a multi-disciplinary team, working to user-led design principles. You will work with other designers, product managers, developers, and colleagues from the rest of the Fund to ensure that our live service is performing to agreed standards.
You will be part of a service team who love sharing knowledge and experience. We’ll offer you support to further develop your skills, and opportunities to develop your experience and skills in a digital environment.
The responsibilities of the job include:
- Managing the digital live service including defining (SLAs) and ensuring the quality, availability, and performance of the service
- Proactively sharing learning across digital teams to support continuous improvement

- Wider stakeholder engagement and communication
- Managing service incidents through to resolution
- Maintaining service documentation and systems
