Fundraising & Partnerships Officer - Brighton based youth charity
Ditch the Label is a digital-first youth charity supporting young people aged 12–25 with mental health online safety, bullying and identity. We're looking for a Fundraising & Partnerships Officer to help us grow the income that makes this work possible.
About the role
You'll work closely with the Head of Partnerships to manage relationships with funders and corporate partners, write compelling grant applications, and keep our fundraising pipeline moving. This is a hands-on role covering trust and foundation fundraising, partner account management, and grant writing, with the opportunity to get involved across many other areas of the charity and wider team.
What you'll be doing
- Researching and developing a pipeline of trust, foundation and corporate funding opportunities
- Supporting our corporate partners with stewardship plans, updates and impact reporting
- Leading our weekly trust and foundation outreach
- Writing and submitting grant applications up to £25,000
- Supporting the Head of Partnerships with larger proposals and applications
- Helping share partnership news and impact across our digital channels
- Contributing to team income targets and monthly reporting
What we're looking for
- Excellent written English and the ability to write persuasive, engaging copy
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A confident communicator, comfortable representing DTL with funders, partners and senior stakeholders
- A self-starter who takes ownership and follows through
- Comfortable with shared digital tools (G-Suite, spreadsheets)
- Motivated by DTL's mission to support young people
Experience in fundraising, grant writing or partnerships is a bonus but not essential. We'll provide training in grant writing, partnership management and fundraising strategy.
