The Salesforce and Systems Manager will play a key role in the Programmes team ensuring that our systems and processes run smoothly, that data is accurate and well maintained, and that we continue to innovate through our use of data systems to improve delivery and working across the wider Trust.
You will lead the usage and development of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Salesforce, for the delivery and evaluation of our programmes. You will be responsible for overseeing the building and management of application and evaluation forms ensuring that internal and external colleagues views have been considered. Whilst this role sits within the programmes directorate, you will lead on Salesforce for the Trust as a whole and collaborate with other teams to ensure optimal running of the platform.
You will manage a number of external relationships, including our external Salesforce partners, application site partners and other digital and data partners to ensure that work is well managed, delivered on time and on budget. You will work closely with the Senior Impact and Evaluation Manager to ensure data on applications, evaluations, and long-term destinations is of high quality and securely held.
The role will report to the Senior Impact and Evaluation Manager, and work alongside, and with support from, the Data and Evaluation Officer.
Main duties

Act as the Trust’s in-house Salesforce lead, keeping up to date with sector updates (including Artificial Intelligence), training staff members in how best to use Salesforce

Lead on the management and integration between Salesforce and the Trust’s other data collection platforms including Form Assembly, Sutton Trust Online, Campaign Monitor, and Zoom

Work cross-Trust to identify potential Salesforce process improvements or system changes that will deliver efficiencies, prioritising these and overseeing their build and deployment

Manage relationships with external stakeholders including web developers and Salesforce/Form Assembly representatives

Manage the build and development of programme application sites with input from programme leads

Responsibility for quality of data coming into and held in Salesforce, complying with GDPR requirements

Manage the design, building, and dissemination of evaluation forms and ensure high rates of completion

Manage the two-way sharing of application and engagement data with universities and delivery partners

Main Purpose of the Role
The Fundraising and Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Reef-World’s mission to protect and sustainably manage coral reefs and coastal ecosystems worldwide. This hands-on, senior position combines leadership of the charity’s fundraising and communications function with strategic oversight, ensuring that Reef-World maximises its global reach, secures sustainable income, and delivers compelling, mission-aligned messaging across all channels. This position reports directly to the Directors.
You will lead the development and delivery of income generation strategies while overseeing multi-channel communications, digital engagement, media relations, and brand stewardship. You will manage a small, dynamic team of staff, consultants, and volunteers, coordinating resources to support programme delivery and ensuring high-quality outputs that enhance both conservation impact and fundraising success.
You will join a remote, globally distributed, and diverse team, collaborating across multiple countries and cultures to advance Reef-World’s mission. You will be given autonomy to lead the fundraising activities of the organisation and will be encouraged to try new things and take ownership of the fundraising portfolio as a whole. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, proactive, versatile professional to shape the charity’s growth, profile, and influence in marine conservation on an international scale.
Our Fundraising Landscape
We have had steady year-on-year growth in income since we were founded, with a shortfall recorded last year. The shortfall in income for the last financial year is down to our main donor, the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) not being able to provide funds due to the global economic and political climate. This grant source is naturally very unpredictable in nature, however, we had previously successfully secured a year-on-year budget from UNEP since 2009. You can see our financial history on our Charity Commission listing. Our financial year runs from June to May. For June 2024 to May 2025, our fundraising target is £425,000. We have secured £240,000 of this, and around a further £60,000 is unconfirmed but likely. However, we have previously successfully secured a year-on-year budget from UNEP since 2009.
So far in the current financial year, 65% of our income is grant income, corporate sector and commercial partnerships make up 17%, individual giving is 7%, and 11% of income comes from programme’s products and services.
This role is replacing a Development Manager who joined in March 2024 and created this as a new role. Through her leadership and guidance we have strong foundations across all fundraising streams to build on. We would like the post holder to maintain our excellent track record for grant funding while further establishing and growing new sources of income, especially unrestricted income. We’re open to exploring most kinds of income generation but are particularly interested in exploring corporate fundraising and major donor opportunities and have good foundations upon which to build here.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a well-respected and evidence-led organisation with an ambitious new strategy to restore 100,000 hectares of wetlands across the country. From providing homes for wildlife to protecting communities from flooding, we want to unlock the superpowers of wetlands so everyone can benefit.
Based in the Communications Team, you’ll work closely with our Senior Campaigns Manager and colleagues across the organisation to build and deliver a public affairs strategy that fits the ambition of our 2030 aims. With a keen eye on UK politics and an ability to build relationships with key decision-makers, you’ll help us translate widespread public support for nature into the political will for action, and the policies to follow it up.
With support from our team of experts, you will lead stakeholder engagement across government, Parliament and policy organisations, ensuring WWT’s research and strategic priorities are communicated effectively. Your work will include developing policy positions, producing briefings and reports, managing public affairs events, and gathering intelligence on the external policy landscape.
This hands-on role demands a strategic thinker with strong political insights, capable of building relationships, monitoring political environments and crafting plans and strategies that deliver the political change we need to see.
About You
We are seeking an individual with:
- Relevant experience working within a public affairs, campaigns, parliamentary or government environment.
- Proven experience of developing and delivering public affairs and advocacy plans and strategies designed to influence Government, politicians and other stakeholders.

ROLE PURPOSE:
ShelterBox is seeking an experienced humanitarian professional with strong partnership expertise to join our dynamic International Programmes Department (IPD).
In this role, you will work closely with the Partnership team, comprising the Partnership & Localisation Manager and Rotary Partnership Manager, to advance two key strategic priorities: strengthening ShelterBox's partnership approach and driving localisation.
The Partnership team leads on developing and implementing strategies that enhance collaboration, including our global partnership with Rotary International. Working across IPD and the wider organisation, the team is central to shaping systems, processes, and initiatives that ensure effective partnership management and deliver on our strategic goals.
As part of this team, you will support programme delivery through a partnership lens. · Collaborate with the Programme Quality team to design appropriate partnership outcomes and outputs with indicators to be measured at programme and project levels, and ensure that learning on partnership is systematically captured and applied
· Support Programme Managers, Emergency Coordinators and the Grants Manager to ensure that the sub-grant agreements and terms of partnerships, as well as institutional policies and procedures are complied with by the partner organisations, including policies on safeguarding

This role will work with the Land Manager (West) on the delivery of practical improvements for wildlife across GWT nature reserves and throughout Nature Recovery Zones (NRZs) in the west of the county (Lower Wye Valley, Central Forest of Dean, Severn Hams, Leadon Vale) with workshops at Tidenham Chase, Coleford and Gloucester. Habitats include heathlands, ancient woodland, species-rich unimproved grasslands, floodplain meadows, hay meadows, quarry pits, mires and more.
This role will help to mentor Wild Trainees, and work with volunteer teams to help deliver work plan objectives.
An important part of this role will be supporting the trusts conservation grazing objectives with native and hardy breeds of livestock including Highland cattle, Exmoor ponies and Hebridean sheep.
This is a permanent, full-time post (35 hours per week) subject to a six-month probationary period.

The post holder will lead & deliver public-facing campaigns that build support for nature recovery and shift local and regional decisions. You’ll also mobilise people for action, recruiting and supporting activists, volunteers and community leaders across Suffolk. Main Duties & Responsibilities
This is an exciting new role for an ambitious and commercially minded Venue manager to lead all aspects of our new venue and café with event delivery and organisation. This is a hands-on role focused on operational excellence, outstanding customer experience and sustainable income growth. As a brand-new venture, this role will be pivotal in the development of our Venue for Good both commercially and operationally. There will be scope for this role to develop further as the venue becomes established.
You will oversee daily operations, manage and develop a team of volunteers, and ensure the venue and café operate to the highest standards of service, safety, and compliance. You will plan and deliver a broad programme of events and private hires, playing a key role in establishing Venue For Good as an exciting new forum for events, from yoga classes to author signings, including the café, a yurt, the hospice meeting rooms and gardens. You will oversee and continuously improve the end-to-end booking journey and on-the-day service for internal and external venue-hire clients, working closely with the wider hospice teams to deliver a consistently high standard of service.
The role also involves budget management, performance reporting, pricing and stock control, client relationship management, and working closely with our fundraising and communications teams to maximise bookings and promote the venue.
Key responsibilities include: café operation and development, leading venue operations and staffing; planning and delivering a wide range of events; managing budgets, stock, and financial performance; developing new income streams; ensuring outstanding customer service; and maintaining full compliance with health, safety, licensing, and operational standards.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Knowledge & Approach
· High level of education, degree level or equivalent
· 3 years’ customer facing work experience operating at a senior level
· Venue management including the successful delivery of conferences and events
· A track record of successful leadership and management (experience of leading staff and volunteer teams desirable), team-player leading by example
· Financial management, strong commercial awareness, including budgetary management
· Proven focus, delivery and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion within the sector
· An unstinting focus on and demonstrable experience of delivering across all aspects of the role
· Excellent understanding of marketing and drivers for customer engagement to increase sales,
· Proven success in working with targets (experience of successfully driving growth is desirable)
· Proven experience of contributing proactively to creative thinking
· Proven experience of maintaining regulatory compliance in a venue setting
· Kindness, compassion and empathy
· High level of personal integrity and honesty
