This is a new and exciting role that will build and develop relationships with churches and individuals, to secure significant income, and bring in frequent and targeted income through regular donations, fundraising campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will have fundraising experience covering several areas including Individual Giving; Churches, Fundraising Appeals/Campaigns, as well as experience in managing the operational aspects of fundraising. Through this, you will assist the whole organisation in our commitment to showing kindness, raising self-belief, and inspiring hope for the future in the individuals we serve.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a passion for our mission to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives, by growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement, and fulfilling fundraising operational duties such as ensuring that we have a database that is organised, up to date and fit for purpose.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Develop deliver and monitor a fundraising strategy for Pecan.
2. Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to Pecan's supporters.
3. Assist with setting up our CRM database, developing and maintaining it to ensure efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
4. Develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
5. Pioneer and develop a broad range of relationships with churches, organisations, and denominations across Southwark.
6. Management of a part time Partnerships Manager with responsibility.

Essential Requirements: 

1. 3 years charity fundraising experience or evidence of very relatable experience.
2. Experience / understanding of fundraising campaigns.
3. Experience working on either eTapestry, Raisers Edge, Salesforce or Donorfy CRM systems.
4. Ability to connect and network with a wide range of people through a broad variety of communication methods.
5. A good level of general education including GCSE Maths and English plus A-levels or equivalent.

The Branch Manager will manage the business activities associated with the Branch, per the Society’s rules and on behalf of the Branch Trustees. The Branch Manager will work alongside the Animal Care Coordinator in maintaining RSPCA Welfare standards and recruiting fosterers.

General Management

• Undertake all admin duties as defined by the Trustees.
• Responsible for the recruitment of animal fosterers and volunteers, alongside the Animal Care Coordinator.
• Create and implement an animal welfare awareness programme for children under 10.
• Attend Branch Trustee meetings and present relevant information (1 evening a month).
• Maintain all electronic platforms and social media.
• Ensure staff and volunteers are aware of and adhere to the Branch and National Society policies, procedures and rules.
• To facilitate the employment, deployment, appraisal, training and discipline of staff.

• Ensure key stakeholders prepare business cases for investment in technology and software to agreed standards, advising them on process and changes or additions to business cases. 
• In collaboration with the business lead, manage the development and delivery of technology projects, ensuring that it meets RCR’s required standards and supporting successful implementation.
• Ensure plans, risks and finances associated with project delivery are tracked as required and made visible for governance and portfolio management purposes. 
• Use feedback and research to recommend improvements to RCR’s IT project management processes, implementing agreed changes.
• Support the Head of IT in the day-to-day management of invoices and of the IT budget, ensuring that spend is accounted for and managed according to RCR’s guidelines.
• Manage, administer and schedule regular board meetings.  Follow up actions agreed in the board meeting, in partnership with the Head of IT.

Bow Foodbank is proud to be a community solution to the problem of food insecurity in East London. Volunteers are involved in every area of foodbank life, from carrying out day-to-day tasks to supporting back office functions and governance of the Foodbank. You will support the Operations Manager in ensuring volunteers are equipped to come to our sessions and support the work of the foodbank. You will be responsible for managing every stage of the volunteer journey, from onboarding to providing feedback.

There will an expectation to travel to different Crisis Skylights on average twice a month for meetings and to deliver trainings.

About the role

This is a new role within Crisis’ People & Culture Team, created so we can plan, develop, and deliver a range of internal learning sessions for staff across the organisation. This will include working with our frontline staff, ensuring they have the skills required to support our members to end their homelessness. This role will also provide administrative support to ensure that all training events run efficiently, and appropriate records are maintained.

About you

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives when planning, developing, and delivering trainings to upskill staff who work with vulnerable adults. You will have experience of collaborating with range of stakeholders to ensure trainings meet the learning and development needs of its audience. This role requires someone who is very organised and has experience of juggling multiple and competing priorities. The successful candidate will be delivering in-person sessions at Crisis Skylights across the UK so you must be comfortable with national travel on average twice a month.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Inclusion Officer to join our Communities team at Sovereign Network Group. You’ll help to shape and deliver our exciting new Energy Support service, aiming to be proactive and preventative in fuel and energy insecurity. You’ll be working in the community and with customers across our geography.

The Role

You’ll be part of our Financial Inclusion team, looking holistically at customers and their household circumstances and finding innovative ways to support them to make sustained changes. You’ll be working with partners, building new relationships both internally and externally, with an overall aim to aid our customers to become financially resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and enhancing financial inclusion initiatives, with a primary focus on energy-related projects
• Collaborating with customer support teams to ensure impactful delivery of financial inclusion offers
• Supporting operational activities of Financial Inclusion programs across SNG communities
• Working closely with the Financial and Digital Inclusion Manager to identify new delivery partners and continue to develop financial inclusion offers for sustained positive customer impact
• Reporting and analysing on program impacts to evaluate value for money and guide future planning

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in a similar role, with an understanding of financial inclusion challenges and its impacts would be beneficial but isn’t essential. You will need:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Debt Advice Team Leader to join the Citizens Advice New Forest team. This role will provide line management to two debt teams from Citizens Advice New Forest and one debt team from Citizens Advice Southampton and will be responsible for ensuring that the projects are meeting their objectives and outcomes. We are
looking for an individual that can oversee all aspects of debt project delivery including technical supervision and adherence to quality standards, monitoring of project delivery and outcomes, and all aspects of leadership of the teams including motivation and development of the team members.

• From an advice background, with appropriate debt-advice accreditation or the ability to become accredited quickly.
• A great communicator, motivator and team player; someone who can interact at all levels of Citizens Advice.

St Hilda’s East has a 135-year history of combating deprivation and social exclusion in East London. We welcome people of all ages to our large community centre in Shoreditch where we offer a wide range of activities for local people which provide opportunities to enhance wellbeing, learn new skills and meet people of diverse backgrounds. We also run a day centre in Shadwell, with a focus on supporting elders from the Bangladeshi and other communities. 

We are currently in search of a passionate and committed male older peoples’ programme worker to join our team and lead a weekly a men’s group, as part of the thriving Over 50’s programme. The role involves designing, leading, and facilitating various activities and sessions aimed at improving physical and mental wellbeing, and improving community connection amongst older people. We welcome enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of older people to apply and become part of this rewarding and impactful initiative.

• Co-designing activities with older people 

• Developing and facilitating weekly sessions including a mens’ group  

• Promoting and publicising activities in the local community to increase male participants

Join AWT as our new Environmental Economist & Nature Recovery Land Buyer and you will make a significant contribution to achieving our goals of creating 1000ha of new habitat by 2030, with the Trust purchasing at least 100ha of new land.  

This exciting area of work offers significant opportunities to tackle the climate and ecological crises. AWT has a wealth of ecological expertise and is a leader in local environmental markets having developed BNG and Bat credits and processes.

You will work with the Senior Leadership Team and expert ecologists, to develop the vision for large-scale land purchases and improvements to our existing reserves.  With your background in environmental economics, you will assess the multiple benefits each project could offer and develop business cases that facilitate investment from the emerging green finance markets. Resulting in a prospectus of land purchase opportunities which will guide the Trust’s ambitions up to 2030.

You will also support the Head of Nature Recovery with land purchases, giving you the chance to input into projects as they develop and see theoretical benefits come to life.

Key Tasks:

· Using  AWT’s Green Finance Review Process, carry out assessments of existing reserves and land on the open market, to enable the creation of a fully costed Land Purchase Prospectus, which will inform AWT’s actions for years to come.

· Lead the acquisition process for AWT's first Nature Recovery land purchase - aiming to be completed by the end of 2024.

· Work closely with senior staff to develop AWT’s customer base for credit sales. Initially focusing on Biodiversity Net Gain, bat credits and carbon credits.
