Are you a skilled communicator who can turn evidence into influence and engagement into impact? Join RiDC as our Communications and Knowledge Exchange Manager and help ensure that the voices and experiences of disabled people reach the audiences that can create meaningful change.

This is a new and exciting role at a pivotal point in RiDC's development. You will lead our communications, stakeholder engagement and profile-raising activities, helping to strengthen RiDC's reputation as the UK's leading authority on inclusive research and disabled consumer insight. You'll develop compelling content, manage digital communications, build relationships with key stakeholders, and create opportunities for our research to inform policy, practice and innovation. 

A significant part of the role will support eco-ableism, RiDC's pioneering National Lottery-funded programme exploring the barriers disabled people face in participating in climate action and sustainability. You will help translate research findings into accessible and engaging communications, ensuring the project's learning reaches policymakers, organisations and communities and contributes to a more inclusive transition to net zero. 

We're looking for a creative and proactive communications professional with excellent writing, digital engagement and relationship-building skills. Whether developing campaigns, managing social media, organising events, producing compelling content or identifying new opportunities to raise RiDC's profile, you'll play a key role in increasing the reach, influence and impact of our work.
