Overview of Role:

Church Army’s donors are vital to our future and growth as they underpin the resourcing of our frontline work. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our donors is therefore equally important.

The Supporter Connection and Engagement Officer plays a key role in developing and deepening relationships with supporters through personal engagement, particularly via phone and email. This role helps to inspire generosity, communicate impact, and ensure every supporter feels valued and connected to Church Army’s mission. The work that the Supporter Engagement and Connection Officer does directly enables our frontline work to happen.

Salary: £24,815 per annum – pro-rated for part-time.

Hours: 23.5 – 30 hours per week.

Pension: Church Army is an auto enrolment pension employer. You will be assessed under pension auto enrolment criteria.

Annual Leave: 25 days, plus Bank Holidays – total 33 days (pro-rated for part time.)

The Research Team is pivotal to ensuring that research funded by Children with Cancer UK is at the

This role will contribute to the design and delivery of ISEAL’s scaling strategy to unlock investment and market incentives for smallholders and small-scale producers, grounded in robust climate, biodiversity and nature outcomes data.

The Associate Manager will play a critical role in delivering ISEAL projects in the context of climate, nature and measurement related to delivering value to small scale producers and small and medium enterprises. The role will collaborate closely with ISEAL’s internal programme teams, community members, and technical partners to assess the feasibility, impact potential, and scalability of climate and nature-related innovations developed and tested within the ISEAL community. To be considered, candidates will bring solid knowledge of climate, nature and biodiversity, particularly related to small-scale agricultural producers, and a keen interest to build on this in the context of voluntary sustainability standards. Experience, Knowledge and Attributes

• Existing working knowledge of climate, nature and biodiversity and related regulations and trends
• Understanding of corporate sustainability objectives, reporting, metrics and outcome methodologies
• Understanding of the theory and methodology behind GHG accounting, SBTI initiatives and carbon removal methodologies and how use of these translate into practice
• Understanding of the impacts of climate change on primary (particularly small-scale) agricultural production and how producers can adapt to these changes to mitigate these impacts
• Good understanding of international and/or rural development  Proven ability to analyse large sources of information and to identify and summarise the most important points in accessible language
• Experience in facilitating sessions and workshops, working with stakeholders to reach consensus decisions

The postholder will develop and lead fundraising and partnerships, raising crucial funds to support MumsAid’s growth. We are looking for an experienced, versatile fundraiser who can hit the ground running, bring a holistic approach and work with a range of donors and funders to help MumsAid develop a sustainable income pipeline. 

This role has strategic accountability for fundraising and managing funder relationships. You will lead our competitive tendering and grant application work, and develop our corporate partnerships.

This is a part-time post, flexible on location, although some travel within the UK may be required. The role will provide support at fundraising events, requiring some occasional evening and weekend commitments (for which time in lieu will be granted).

Main Duties 

Leadership and Management: 

· Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board (particularly the Fundraising and Marketing Subgroup) to proactively identify potential sources of funding and realise opportunities for growth. 

· Devise and develop appropriate strategies, produce and deliver strong proposals and pitches. 

· Provide knowledge of current fundraising practice and develop a consistent working strategy that is sustainable.

· Assist in informing long-term financial/business planning and clarifying priorities. 

· Support the SLT and Board in developing a comprehensive framework for reporting on the charity’s impact, including to funders. 

Oversee and support monitoring submissions.

Fundraising:

· Develop, implement and evaluate a fundraising strategy in line with MumsAid’s priorities, to include key areas of focus – fundraising from trusts and foundations, statutory fundraising, corporate fundraising, to secure c. £500k over the next 2 years.

· Research, formulate and write applications, bids and tenders, including to statutory funders and trusts and foundations, coordinating with other team members for input as necessary.

· Build strong relationships with existing and potential funders, partners and stakeholders.

· Write reports for funders to meet deadlines and submit further applications for existing funders where appropriate.

· Work with the SLT and Board to develop and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, funders, partners and corporate organisations to ensure good communication about organisational/project progress, address any issues that arise, and identify new income streams. 

Organisational and General Duties: 

· Maximise fundraising efficiency by using and developing our CRM to ensure there is a clear process for recording and managing fundraising activity. 

· Contribute to the financial planning, budgeting and management accounts process. 

· Contribute to the development of MumsAid’s understanding and communication of our Return on Investment (ROI).

· Report regularly on KPIs, monitoring and evaluating against social impact and ROI. 

· Develop and manage a reporting schedule for the Board and funders to ensure monitoring and reporting is in done in an effective manner in line with organisational priorities, tracking restricted and unrestricted income, project development and targets. 

· Maintain awareness of fundraising and charity law and ensure that activity adheres to relevant legislation and guidance. 

Communications and Marketing: 

Liaise with colleagues to help shape and implement our marketing and communications plan, ensuring our reputation is upheld and our knowledge is shared through positive, consistent and accurate communications and messaging.

The Academic Registry team, one of the sub-teams within programme management, is responsible for ensuring that participants’ academic  programme journeys are well-administered. The team are responsible for areas such as academic policies and processes (including for assessment and student records), along with several other operational aspects of Frontline’s academic provision, from attending and preparing data for examination boards or exceptional circumstances panels, to liaising with external markers.

The Academic Programmes Administrator will work to contribute to a first-class participant experience on the Approach Social Work programme. The post holder will be required to be flexible and adaptable in response to diverse requirements in the wider team through the academic year. A high standard of customer service is expected throughout, including at peak periods. 

Some key responsibilities include:

• Act as first point of contact for queries from various stakeholders, working closely with regional delivery teams to ensure that applicants, participants and Fellows (our programme alumni) are fully supported with the information they need
• Service online and in-person meetings as required, including scheduling, circulating papers, coordinating breakout sessions and writing minutes.

We are looking for a warm, flexible and highly motivated fundraiser to work across all areas of our fundraising, from securing income from trusts and foundations and corporate partners to staying on top of our individual giving. 

You’ll benefit from regular mentoring sessions with an external fundraising consultant and be able to foster close relationships with our board of trustees and other key stakeholders. 

BYO has a very small core team, which you’ll be part of, and a large number of freelancers and external staff that join for programmes, events and performances. Our registered office is at the London Coliseum but day-to-day, when our big
programmes aren’t running, we work remotely. 

You’ll find yourself inputting across the organisation – for an inquisitive and proactive person there are plenty of opportunities to take on more responsibility as we grow. Here at BYO we actively support professional development and are very open to flexible working.

#Fundraising 

A well-established organisation in London is looking to take on a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner for a 6 months temp to perm opportunity.  The company has a big impact on its tenants and creates an inspiring, inclusive place to work.

They are looking to bring someone into their collaborative team who comes from a Housing / Property background with experience in leading on Management Accounting and Business Partnering. 

Responsibilities:

• Providing management accounts to agreed deadlines, including key financial information 
• Carrying out financial analysis and presenting findings, and business partner with budget holders to support in commercial decision making
• Assist with rolling cash flow forecasts and support with relevant journals for management accounts
• Support on the development of the annual budget and adhoc requirements around year end audit

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with 2/3 years minimum post qualification experience
• Housing or Property experience, ideally within a Management Accounting / Business Partnering role
• Proficient with excel, has used a variety of finance packages and understands accounting principles 
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders

They are looking to bring someone into their collaborative team who comes from a housing association or property background with experience in Rent Accounting – particularly posting weekly journals and completing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Posting journals for rent transactions into finance system in a timely manner
• Reconciliations bank, rent and service charge control accounts, supporting financial accuracy
• Ensuring customer payments are reconciled, liaising with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies
• Carry out reconciliations of all daily universal credits receipts, providing updates when necessary

Requirements:

• Finance background with some knowledge of rent accounting and reconciliations
• An understanding of rent setting and ability to work independently
• Confident using excel and various finance packages
• Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders and strong time management skills
