An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to lead our Finance team to ensure the ongoing effective management of financial resources within the Hospice and its trading subsidiary.
As part of the senior management team, you will build strong internal relationships, provide management information to enable sound financial decisions, manage the budgeting and forecasting process and oversee a complex payroll.
Working with the Director of Finance and IT you will prepare the monthly management accounts, VAT returns, Gift Aid reclaims and the statutory accounts and will ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place and all legislative and statutory requirements are met.
You will be a qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience; charity experience would be desirable. In addition, you will have strong demonstrable management skills gained in a similar complex environment.
An excellent working knowledge of payroll and VAT is essential, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.
Set in the tranquil grounds of Willen Lake, Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the Milton Keynes area. We offer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease, caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patients and the local community. This is a varied and integral role providing administrative support to Arthritis Action’s Finance, Executive Management, Services Teams and Trustees, working under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
Your role will provide day to day operational assistance in our London office including: meeting and diary management, writing minutes and providing admin support across the Charity. Liaison with the landlord and office suppliers, assist with finance including processing direct debits, staff credit cards and supplier invoices and compiling monthly reports. You will also be the first port of call for incoming calls and manage incoming/outgoing post and IT administration.
Key Responsibilities – the role will include but not be restricted to:
- Providing admin support to the Finance, Executive Management and Services Teams
- Ensuring smooth running of the office and troubleshooting issues that arise

- Support CEO with scheduling meetings, database entries and diary management

We are an agile social enterprise looking for a qualified Finance Manager to manage and operate our existing finance function. Working flexibly from home, you will perform a core role in our small, friendly virtual team helping to maintain financial stability and control as we focus on our mission to deliver successful projects across a range of settings globally. You will report to the Strategy Director. The role is advertised at 15 hours per week and the preference would be for these hours to be worked over 3 days, however this can be flexed in line with the cyclical nature of some of the finance activities, particularly during quarter end.

About the Role
As a Finance Application Analyst at MSI Reproductive Choices, you will be a key member of a three-person finance applications team, instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.
Your primary responsibilities include providing hands-on support for Infor SUN systems and associated applications, resolving user issues, and collaborating with third-party partners. MLC are partnering with a well-known Charity in central London to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time position, 2days/week in the office, and commences immediately.
The role
This position plays a crucial role within the Charity, working closely with directorates and teams to understand their financial positioning and identify both opportunities and challenges. Responsibilities include:
- Monthly management accounts and month end reports
- Understanding the long-term goals of the Fundraising team, managing financial risks/uncertainty

The Position:

Key Purpose
To develop an operational and financial management model, which is clearly aligned to the delivery of the charity’s strategic objectives and core services.
Key Responsibilities

This is a pivotal time for the charity; the pandemic had an adverse impact on our income as weary healthcare professionals had no time or energy to devote to training. However, it provided us with an ideal opportunity to refresh our products using state of the art authoring tools and develop a new Learning Management System (LMS). The result was an ambitious automation programme, organisational restructure and functional realignment.
As a member of the Executive Team, the Director of Finance and Organisational Performance will use their experience, ideas, and knowledge of finance and organisational performance to lead Education for Health’s Finance, Systems, Information, Data and People functions to fulfil our business plan, supporting healthcare professionals to improve health outcomes.
We are looking for candidates who can offer:
• An accountancy qualification (CCAB qualified)
