This position will help us take the next big step up in how we engage with and serve our customers. Stewardship offers a broad range of services to the Christian community – Accounts Examination, Payroll Bureau, Charity Formation, Consultancy Helpline, Lending, a giving platform and Philanthropy Services. We are looking to extend our use of Salesforce to integrate the customer information from these different services.
This role will work with the Head of Enterprise Applications and a project manager to implement the staged roll-out of Salesforce components. Although the roll-out will be done in bite-sized chunks, those small components will sum up to a major shift in the organisation’s capabilities. You will also be optimising business processes, making Stewardship staff’s jobs simpler and more efficient. Once the system is up and running, you will manage its ongoing evolution. The net result of all of this is that Stewardship will be a more efficient and effective organisation, better able to deliver the excellent customer service we are known for.

About the Role
As a member of the User Engagement team, your role will be integral to supporting and enhancing the University's CRM system for development and alumni engagement. Key responsibilities include:

Major Gifts Manager, International Fundraising
The Major Gifts Manager, International Fundraising will support PETA’s global programmes by securing vital funding from new and existing supporters. This role will advance the fundraising potential of PETA France and PETA Netherlands and work closely with existing teams within the UK and Germany.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

About the role
Smart Works exists to empower all women who need help getting into work. We are currently in a significant growth phase, doubling the number of women we support to 10,000 women a year by 2025. As such, we require vital cornerstone funding and are seeking to establish a Major Gifts function, to secure donations from high-net worth individuals, that will enable us to achieve our mission and help thousands of women to transform their lives.
This is an exciting new role that provides an opportunity to build a new major gifts programme from scratch. Supported by the Director of Partnerships, you will work closely with the CEO, Board, and our network of 750 volunteers, to develop a giving strategy that will engage and grow a new pool of crucial supporters for Smart Works.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing major donors, as well as conducting prospect research, developing bespoke stewardship materials, and securing five-figure and six-figure repeat gifts.

Main duties and responsible
- Prepare and write compelling applications to charitable trusts and foundations who have the capacity to make five and six figure gifts towards the charity’s work;
- Prepare and submit scheduled applications and reports to current funders, ensuring that we hit deadlines and develop relationships with the trusts and foundations currently supporting Villiers Park;
- In collaboration with the Senior Leadership team, and colleagues in Fundraising and Communications, create engaging and accurate reports to current funders that share the impact of their support, including trusts, major donors and university partners;
- Develop and implement targeted stewardship strategies that bring current donors closer to our work;
- Identify new prospects and propose engagement and cultivation strategies;
- With the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships and Chief Executive, develop the trusts and philanthropic strategy to support the organisation’s five year plan from 2025;
- Prepare regular financial and pipeline reports, working closely with the Finance team on budgeting and forecasting;
- Support the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships to identify and develop fundraising channels, including family trusts, corporate foundations and legacy giving;
- Ensure compliance with Villiers Park’s safeguarding policies, and with the charity’s gift acceptance and fundraising policies and processes.

This is a maternity cover contract so the successful candidate will need to get up to speed quickly, taking over responsibility for delivering the new Major Donor fundraising plan. The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing high level relationships and a track record of securing high value (5 and 6 figure) donations or new business. Working Arrangements and Travel Requirements
Rainforest Trust UK staff work remotely and you will be expected to work primarily from home with an excellent internet connection. You may be based anywhere in the UK but you will be expected to work from a shared team space in London once a month, and your donor meetings/events are most likely to take place there.
The postholder will be required to host networking events and attend some online meetings with our partners in the U.S so some (early) evening working is required. We are also flexible as to how many hours this postholder works, and will consider a 3-5 day per week arrangement, depending on experience.

We are looking for a Major Donor Manager for an incredible animal welfare charity, to build and advance relationships with major donors and prospects, to solicit major gifts (5,000 and above), to support international programmes and campaigns.
This role can be London (hybrid) or remote, with international travel throughout Europe, as required.

A passionate animal welfare charity, dedicated to creating a society that treats animals with dignity and respect. They have a staff of c53 people securing c6m last year.

The Role
Develop a strategy for international for major gifts fundraising
Manage and maintain a portfolio major gift donors and prospects, across international entities
Effectively steward donors and prospects
Develop personal engagement plans for donors, using knowledge and insights to plan appropriate communications
The Candidate
Demonstrable experience of major giving fundraising.
Strong knowledge of animal rights issues.
Proven ability to interact with donors in a professional and personable manner.
Adherence to a vegan lifestyle strongly preferred

Role and Purpose
To support the development and delivery of the Major Donor and Special Events strategy. To provide a high standard of support to the Major Donor and Special Events team with the current and growing event portfolio and colleagues managing major donor relationships.
Responsibilities:

Assisting the Head of Major Donors and Special Events and Special Events Manager in planning, marketing and delivery of our programme of Special Events

Sourcing prizes and maintaining a ‘bank’ of prizes with full and accurate information that can be used across events, delivering prize fulfilment with great stewardship for prize winners and in-kind donors

Supporting and nurturing strong event committees and senior volunteers providing exceptional volunteer engagement

Liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure events run smoothly and to budget

Supporting the delivery of the Major Donors strategy and associated programmes of activity, growing the income generated from Major Donors both via events and outside of them

Supporting the development of a pipeline of prospects giving at a significant level, leading on prospect research of HNWIs

We are seeking an experienced permanent Fundraising Manager for an experienced major donor fundraiser to make a significant difference and work in close partnership with both our Board of Trustees and the head office in London.
The successful post holder will be forging relationships with local businesses, as well as researching and building a strong pipeline of grant funders and five and six-figure gifts from Trusts & Foundations, including core funding and restricted funding.

What you'll be doing
- Build excellent relationships with corporate and community partners, generating awareness and income for the centre, from a range of revenue streams, including grants, events and corporate fundraising

- Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, cultivating relationships to secure substantial philanthropic gifts

What you'll have
- Experience in securing five and six-figure income from a variety of philanthropic sources, including corporate partnerships

- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
