This post will play a crucial part in helping the charity to end the ignorance, injustice and neglect experienced by people with M.E., as you will be supporting our fundraisers to maximise income generation and raise awareness. This role is crucial in ensuring excellent relationships with fundraisers and donors while supporting the administrative functions of the fundraising team.

Role Overview:

• Responding to Supporter Enquiries: Handle emails, calls, and postal enquiries, providing high standards of customer service.
• Fundraising Stewardship: Thank supporters and acknowledge key events.
• Platform Management: Manage Just Giving, Go Cardless, and other online payment platforms, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Financial Records: Maintain up-to-date financial records and donor databases.
• Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events.

• Develop personal engagement plans for donors and prospects, using knowledge and insights to plan appropriate communications
• Develop high value cultivation events to engage donors and prospects with the work of the charity

• Experience in a relationship-focused role with demonstrable examples of stewarding and soliciting gifts
• Ability to think creatively about major donor fundraising, identifying opportunities for increased engagement among existing donors and prospects, fostering a strong sense of connection to the charity’s mission

Seeking a strong digital fundraiser or campaigner to lead our digital fundraising and engagement, manage high-volume email programs, and collaborate on impactful digital campaign tactics, with a passion for workers’ rights and the ability to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individuals to join our fundraising team as a Supporter Engagement Officer. In this role, you will play a vital role in building and growing relationships with our individual donors and managing digital campaigns and challenge events to help the team raise as much funding as possible to support people experiencing homelessness across London.

About the role:

As the Supporter Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for the stewardship of new and existing donors to becoming regular Single Homeless Project supporters. In your role, you will be responsible for building and delivering a successful supporter engagement campaigns focusing on:

• Building and growing relationships with our fantastic supporters throughout their journey with Single Homeless Project.
• Supporting with the management and delivery of a portfolio of fundraising events.
• Developing and delivering engaging digital campaigns and content through our online portfolio of products and emergency appeals.
• Working with internal SHP departments to create new concepts for supporter engagement.

Please note the role will follow a hybrid working model, with two days working in our head office in Kings Cross and 3 days WFH.

Full Fact – Philanthropy Officer
Location: Remote working.

Full Fact, the independent fact checking charity, is seeking a fundraising professional to grow their impact and safeguard their independence by raising funds from charitable trusts and high net worth individuals.

Full Fact is a team of independent fact checkers and campaigners who find, expose and counter the harm it does – a team which has seen firsthand how bad information promotes hate, damages people’s health and hurts democracy. Full Fact fights for the right information to reach the people who need it most, whether that’s individuals making decisions about their health or who to vote for; or politicians debating the future of our country.

The Philanthropy Officer will create and manage their own portfolio of existing and potential philanthropy donors and use relationship building skills to create strong links with both new and existing donors, including delivering high quality stewardship and reporting on Full Fact’s successes. The post-holder will create and update detailed and persuasive cases for support for new and existing Full Fact projects and deliver successful events that align with Full Fact’s mission and increase engagement. The role will also involve forecasting potential income from the portfolio, prepare updates for the Board and setting and meeting effective objectives and key results for Full Fact’s fundraising.

The ideal candidate for this role will have two years of fundraising experience, preferably in trusts and/or major donor fundraising. You will have experience of writing compelling fundraising appeals and inspiring reports, and of designing and managing engagement events, as well as possessing a good understanding of working with philanthropists and charitable trusts. Your persuasive communication skills will be combined with the ability to build internal and external relationships with integrity and empathy and you will have an organised and proactive approach to work. Role Summary

The Fundraising and Business Development Team Administrator will form part of a five-strong team led by our Head of Fundraising and Business Development. Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities are:
Corporate Fundraising

• Support corporate fundraising by completing due diligences on potential partners (you will be trained how to do this), organising corporate visits, volunteering days, supporting corporate fundraising events, keeping corporate partners up to date with our news etc and organising meetings.

Trusts and Foundations

• Support trusts and foundations fundraising by supporting on funder research (again you will be fully trained how to do this) and contributing to a constant pipeline of potential funders for the team to approach.
• Helping to manage the schedule for, and possibly writing and/or submitting basic proposals to trusts and foundations.

Events

•  Support the team by recording and sending fundraising materials to those raising money for us through events and challenge event.
•  Helping to develop, organise and deliver events.

Individual Giving

• Supporting our Individual Giving programme from an administrative point of view, including sending out pre-written emails to our supporters etc and ensuring first-class stewardship.
• Using our fundraising platform Enthuse to produce reports to support the team (and finance) with relevant information and insights.
• To ensure all donations are processed and on the fundraising tracker correctly, supporter records are kept up to date and supporters are thanked in a timely manner.

General

• To be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries that come in by telephone, email, and post.
• Supporting other activities in the fundraising team when needed, sending out materials to fundraisers and supporting logistics, diary management and support the organisation and delivery of meetings and events when needed.
• Attend meetings and take concise and accurate minutes.
• Support the Head of Fundraising and Business Development to produce trackers and spreadsheets which help to measure the team’s performance and results. This includes ensuring income is allocated correct from third party platforms and working closely with the Finance Team to ensure that we can report fundraising results and forecast accurately and in a timely way.
• Support with stock control and ordering for our material assistance project, LifeSupply which also forms part of the department.
• Support all income generation activity with the collation of information from other departments, external organisations or though research.
• Other general fundraising and administration duties, as and when required to ensure the smooth running of the department including assisting in other team projects when they arise.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support across our service delivery and fundraising sides of our charity.

We are an independent charity supporting people in Wiltshire. Our low-cost services are accessible for everybody in our community. Wiltshire Mind is now entering a new phase of our work, expanding traditional services across the county, and introducing innovative mental health and wellbeing support to our communities.

As a member of our small team, you will play a key role in being the first line of contact for many of our enquiries and also ensuring the essential administration work that helps keep us running.

About the role:

This is an exciting, yet demanding new role for Wiltshire Mind, as we try to reach more people with our support across our county.

The Team Administrator is the first point of contact for our charity, so this is an important role in demonstrating our values, through the professionalism of our work. We rely on our Team Administrator to communicate effectively and efficiently internally and externally with a range of stakeholders from clients and delivery partners to trustees to funders.

We are a small charity, where everyone works together to deliver the very best we can in mental health support for our beneficiaries. Having an interest or lived experience in mental health is helpful, as empathic communication with our clients is important.

Time management is critical, as is the ability to demonstrate organisational skills to deal with a multitude of tasks. If you like to be kept busy and can work at pace – this role may be ideal for you. Strong IT skills are of benefit too, as we use a number of systems to collate, record and report on our work. We also link to other IT systems. The Fundraising Officer at the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) supports a wide range of the charity’s activities, including but not limited to, helping to develop and grow income from individual donors with a focus on developing strong relationships with donors and families; as well as assisting with CHECT’s overall admin and operations.

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager (Trusts & Foundations) you will apply for and manage grants whilst also managing the research of new funding opportunities for the team.

Educated to degree level, or with equivalent relevant qualification or experience, you will have excellent organisational and time management skills; strong interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; and an aptitude for face-to-face fundraising. Full training will be provided in fundraising/managing of relationships with volunteers and supporters.

This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis.
