About the role
As Supporter Care Officer, you'll play a key role in helping Life Cycle build lasting relationships with the people who make our work possible. You'll ensure every supporter, donor and funder has a positive, professional, and inspiring experience, while helping us grow the fundraising income that enables more people to experience the life-changing benefits of cycling.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll manage supporter communications, maintain our fundraising CRM, organise and improve supporter data, and help deliver fundraising campaigns and stewardship activities. You'll also gather stories, photographs and case studies from across our projects, turning them into engaging content that demonstrates our impact and inspires people to continue supporting our work.
Joining us at an exciting stage in our fundraising journey, you'll help develop new systems, shape how we engage with supporters, and contribute to building a thriving community of people who share our vision of a world where cycling transforms lives and the environment. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and service delivery, you'll see first-hand the difference your work makes to the thousands of people who benefit from Life Cycle's charitable projects and services each year.

Curieus Games CIC is a UK Community Interest Company, in the process of converting into a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). Our mission is to raise energy literacy through play. We make energy and climate education fun and accessible. Our vision is to inspire and attract young people to work in the energy sector.
Our flagship programme, Megawatt, consists of an energy-based educational card game supported by a series of workshops. The object of the programme is to engage students on energy and sustainability through gamification and ethical debates.
By transitioning into a charity, the potential grants we can apply for increases significantly. This role has been created to take ownership of this grant pipeline as Megawatt scales up across the UK.

Job summary
We're looking for an organised, proactive individual to own the day-to-day running of our grant pipeline. This will range from researching grant opportunities and drafting applications, through to managing compliance, tracking grant finances, and delivering funder reports. You’ll be working closely with the Founder and School Engagement Manager.
If you have experience in grant administration or charity operations, are highly organised, and want to play a central role in a small mission-driven organisation, we want to hear from you.
Job outline
Grant applications
- Research new grant opportunities and maintain accurate records of live grants and deadlines.
- Draft and submit grant applications, with support from the Founder.
- Coordinate with the School Engagement Manager to identify eligible schools and handover successful grants for delivery.
Grant administration, finances and compliance
- Manage grant conditions, compliance and funder reporting from award through to close.
- Monitor spend against grant budgets and flag underspend or overspend.
- Support the development of improved operations and processes for grant management.
- Identify new income streams and fundraising opportunities.
Essential criteria
- Organised, detail-oriented and independent.
- Experience in grant administration, fundraising support, or charity operations.
- Confident written communicator.
- Comfortable managing finances at the level of budget tracking and reporting.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, small-team environment.
- Proficient with digital tools.
- Must be a UK resident with the right to work in the UK.
Desirable criteria
- Experience writing grant applications, particularly for charitable trusts, foundations, or public sector funders.
- Experience working in or with the education sector.
- Familiarity with restricted fund management and charity finances.
- Knowledge of or interest in energy, sustainability, or climate education.
- Experience building or improving operational systems and processes.
Salary and benefits
- £36,000 gross FTE (pro rata)
- Around 22.5 hours per week, fully remote with flexible working hours, with an option to work term time only
- Workplace contributory pension
- 6 weeks holiday including bank holidays (pro rata)
- Regular performance reviews with the opportunity to increase your salary as the role and organisation develops

Since 1968, Wythall Animal Sanctuary has provided safety, care and second chances to animals in need.
We are an independent, non-destruct animal sanctuary with a proud history, a strong local reputation and a deeply committed community of employees, volunteers, supporters and donors. From our multi-acre site near Solihull, we rescue, rehabilitate and rehome and provide sanctuary to dogs, cats, rabbits and ponies.
We provide lifelong care to animals who cannot be rehomed and operate boarding kennels that generate important commercial income.
About the role
As Head of Income Generation at Wythall Animal Sanctuary, you will lead the development and delivery of a bold, sustainable fundraising and income strategy that supports the charity’s ambitious 10-year transformation into a modern, multi-species Community Campus.
Working closely with the CEO, you will diversify and grow income across individual giving, legacies, community fundraising, grants, corporate partnerships and commercial opportunities, while strengthening supporter relationships, improving digital engagement and embedding data-led decision-making. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who can turn ambition into practical plans, build long-term income resilience and help protect the Sanctuary’s trusted community identity as it enters an exciting new chapter.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced income generation or fundraising leader with a strong track record of growing sustainable income and developing multi-stream fundraising strategies. You will bring strategic thinking, commercial awareness and a hands-on approach, with the ability to turn plans into measurable results across areas such as individual giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, community fundraising and legacy giving.
An excellent relationship-builder and confident communicator, you will be comfortable using data and insight to improve performance, working in evolving environments with limited resources, and balancing innovation with respect for Wythall Animal Sanctuary’s heritage, values and trusted community relationships.
