Purpose of the job:

We are seeking a results-driven and ambitious Individual Giving Manager to lead and grow our individual giving programme from the ground up. This role will deliver inspiring campaigns that boost engagement and drive unrestricted income, helping Thames21 achieve its mission. You’ll join a successful and ambitious fundraising team to support the charity’s growth.

Main duties and responsibilities

Campaigns & Income Growth

• Plan, establish, and deliver Individual Giving at Thames21 to maximise unrestricted income.
• Develop and deliver digital marketing campaigns (social media, e-newsletters) to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors.
• Design and deliver major campaigns such as Christmas/end-of-year giving and Earth Raise in Year 1.
• Produce high-impact, supporter-focused copy for appeals, landing pages, forms, and stewardship content.
• Maintain brand-consistent collateral, templates, and thank-you materials.
• Collaborate across teams to identify IG opportunities and create engaging stories backed by impact data.

• Achieve growth from five- to six-figures over 3 years

• Use test-and-learn approaches to refine campaign performance and donor engagement.

 

 

Supporter Journeys & Stewardship

• Ensure Donorfy is configured to support individual giving, maximise income, and strengthen relationships, in consultation with the CRM Manager.
• Design and implement personalised supporter journeys via digital channels (e.g. Mailchimp), with timely follow-ups and tailored messaging.
• Improve retention and upgrade rates using targeted communications and segmentation.
• Ensure high-quality donor touchpoints align with organisational messaging.
• Provide stewardship for community and sports fundraising
• Collaborate on planning and delivery of donor and supporter stewardship events and initiatives.

Data, Insight & Compliance

• Conduct audience research with Communications and Engagement teams to inform campaigns.
• Use segmented data to deliver robust analysis and guide decisions.
• Track and report on KPIs, income, ROI, and retention.
• Maintain GDPR/PECR compliance and fundraising best practice.
• Liaise with Finance on acknowledgements, reporting, and Gift Aid.
• Stay ahead of sector trends and apply new ideas to improve performance.
• Collaborate with the CRM Manager to ensure data integrity and effective segmentation.

We're looking for a Finance Officer to join our Treasury Team. The team is  responsible for the day-to-day stewardship of Tearfund's financial resources and are focused on continually improving the effectiveness of their processes, playing a vital role in enabling the mission of the organisation. About the role

Engagement Officer (Midlands & West)
We are looking for an Engagement Officer to work with members of the UK fire services community in an inhouse, face to face fundraising capacity. This role covers a region reaching from Severn Park in Avonmouth (Bristol), to Staffordshire and across the Midlands and part of Wales.

The successful candidate will ideally be located around the Birmingham area, or within the Mid / West of England, to enable frequent travel across the region to visit stations and training centres regularly.

We are looking for an Engagement Officer who can inspire the Fire and Rescue communities to support Fire Fighters charity and the work it carries out.

The Role
Building relationships with the fire and rescue services in your area, you’ll become an integral part of the local fire services community, you'll work collaboratively with our national team of fundraisers and to help secure much-needed income for the Charity.

You will provide talks to new recruits, making them aware of the services the charity provides for them as new service users, and encourage signups to individual giving schemes. You will work with your team to maximise recruitment, re-engagement and retention of individual supporters.

With a flexible approach, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling your visits to stations, managing and maintaining personal data and recording outcomes on our Customer Relations Management (CRM) software. 

You will need to be able to travel across the region, which includes: Severn Park in Avonmouth (Bristol), Staffordshire and across the Midlands and parts of Wales.

This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Services Check.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our team. You’ll need excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences, with the ability to deliver PowerPoint Presentations in a confident, and clear manner.

You'll need good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload, and work without close supervision. You'll also need to be competent on standard Microsoft packages, have efficient time management skills and a proficient use of social media and apps. 

This role requires you to be able to travel and occasionally stay away overnight. 

A good knowledge of the UK Fire and Rescue Service community is beneficial, and knowledge of legal requirements relating to Fundraising and Data Protection and Information Security principles is required.

As our IT Helpdesk Officer, based in Kings Cross, you will be at the heart of ensuring every colleague has the tools, systems, and support they need to deliver life-changing work. From maintaining a smooth and stable IT service across all our locations to working closely with third-party providers, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our organisation connected and effective.

This is a role where every day brings variety. You might be resolving a technical issue for a frontline worker in one of our services, managing system access to ensure our security standards remain high, or travelling across London to set up IT equipment in a new location. You’ll be involved in the delivery of projects and system implementations, from launching new contracts for internet and telephone services to helping integrate innovative solutions that keep us moving forward. Your knowledge of Office 365 security, cloud management, and best practice in IT support will be key to helping us work smarter and achieve more.

About you:

• Experience in Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support over a number of channels including face to face, phone, email, text, chat and video. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong organisational skills and shows enthusiasm to all duties. 
• Ability to manage issues and questions via a ticketing portal, updating clients in a timely manner and following tickets through to resolution. 
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware including cloud servers, desktops, laptops and network equipment. 
• High level of personal organisation with the ability to plan and prioritise own work. 
• Has experience in Microsoft applications like Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

As Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for all things facilities-related at our Ewell office and London City Hub. You’ll also provide remote support to our central charity branches nationwide, helping maintain safe, efficient, and welcoming environments for staff and volunteers.

This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. From managing contractors and maintenance schedules to supporting health and safety compliance and coordinating office moves, you’ll be central to the success of our Facilities & Projects team.

About the role

Reporting in to the Church & Supporter Engagement Lead, the Church Engagement & Fundraising Advisor will lead and inspire a team of Church Engagement & Fundraising Officers, ensuring exceptional stewardship and engagement with churches, Christian Aid groups,
and the wider public to support Christian Aid’s values and goals.

The post-holder will oversee the stewardship of existing churches, re-engage lapsed supporters, and acquire new ones while equipping and motivating supporters to give, act, and pray against global poverty and injustice.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Church Engagement & Fundraising Advisor will include:

• Management of a team of Church Engagement & Fundraising Officers, fostering a collaborative mindset and creating an environment that promotes the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
• Build trusted relationships with churches, groups, and individuals, ensuring strong connections between teams for effective stewardship and seamless information-sharing.
• Actively identify and engage the most supportive churches across England, inspiring them to give, act, and pray with Christian Aid through tailored programmes of activity.
• Development and delivery of impactful plans to engage our existing supporting churches in key appeals and campaigns.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous learning in relation to supporter care, including communications with supporters, with a focus on Christian Aid Week, Christmas, emergency appeals and priority campaigns.
• Recruit and empower volunteers to build capacity and deliver maximum impact, modelling accountability and striving for cost-effective solutions that streamline decision-making and foster consensus.
• Representation at Christian events, conferences and festivals, aimed at raising our profile with church audiences, maintaining support with our existing churches, and growing prospective churches to support Christian Aid and maximise our impact.

About the Team:

We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Philanthropy Officer to join our team at Princess Alice Hospice. This is an exciting time to join us as we embark on a new programme of transformational change, presenting numerous opportunities to create impactful relationships with individual supporters to significantly boost our income.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Philanthropy and pay a pivotal role in delivering and expanding our Major Gift programme, as part of our busy and highly successful fundraising team which raises over £3 million annually. This is a vital contribution to the £11.5 million needed each year to provide our free, high-quality care to our local communities.

About the role:

This role will work directly to secure income from individual supporters contributing £5,000 or more annually. Working independently and in partnership with the Head of Philanthropy, Trust and Foundation Lead and other senior stakeholders, the Philanthropy Officer will drive donor engagement and development, through focused relationship management, impactful communication and innovative stewardship.

Key responsibilities include collaborating across the Philanthropy team, with fundraising colleagues, and hospice networks to build a robust prospect pipeline and design and implement personalised supporter journeys that track and monitor progress, deepen relationships and secure income.

This role will also be responsible for engagement and communication activities to support the Philanthropy programme, including event management, group communications and appeals.

Candidates who can demonstrate excellent writing, relationship and stakeholder management in other sectors will also be considered.

About you:

You are a dedicated and skilled professional with a strong background in fundraising or a related field. Your ability to develop and manage relationships, coupled with your excellent writing and budgeting skills, makes you an ideal fit for this role. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to our mission. Your work will be crucial in securing the funds needed to support our services.
