TLC: Talk, Listen, Change is a dynamic, leading relationships charity based in Greater Manchester.
The role
This role will work collaboratively within Manchester City Council’s multi-disciplinary Thriving Families Team to support families where children are open to Child Protection or Child In Need Plans. The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will engage directly with adults responsible for causing harm, aiming to increase perpetrator accountability and encourage positive change. Through one-on-one tailored interventions, the goal is to reduce risk to both victims and children, while enhancing the perpetrator's willingness to alter harmful behaviours. The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will work collaboratively with the Thriving Families Team and other agencies, ensuring a multi-agency, whole family approach. Additionally, the worker liaises with victim/survivor services to assess risks, formulate safety plans to secure better outcomes for those impacted by domestic abuse.
About you
You’ll be confident in delivering direct work with those who use harm. This will include completing comprehensive assessments of risk and need to deliver tailored interventions. You’ll have direct experience of working therapeutically with a client group and be confident in addressing challenging and harmful behaviour. You will have experience of safeguarding processes and multi-agency working.
Above all you will have the ability to build positive relationships with difficult to engage client groups, and you’ll bring a positive, solution focus attitude. We’d also love to hear from applicants who are fluent in speaking an additional language.

About the role
Alzheimer’s Society’s Safeguarding and Quality team are looking for a Senior Quality Safeguarding Officer who will provide expert safeguarding advice, audit and quality assurance support in relation to safeguarding across Alzheimer’s Society, enabling our people to provide excellent, safe services to people affected by dementia. They will be skilled in the development, delivery and implementation of quality assurance functions to ensure that safeguarding is of the highest quality. They will support teams delivering activities which support the Society’s understanding of the quality of the services it delivers to people affected by dementia to support in the delivery of excellence.
About you

You will have:
- Experience of working within a safeguarding framework, an understanding of safeguarding and associated legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006, and an ability to relate them to practice.

Our specialist youth support service for young people in Northamptonshire delivers early intervention and structured treatment to young people to build understanding and raise awareness of substance related harm. We recognise the correlation between vaping and young people developing harmful habits and are determined to do something about it. Right now, we’re looking for an energetic and proactive individual to take on this exciting new role that will involve creating a vaping prevention programme. It’s primarily a training/education role, but there’s also a practitioner related aspect to it, with the key stakeholders being schools/colleges/education providers. We’ll rely on you to deliver accredited training to education professionals, run interactive workshops with young people, deliver face-to-face and virtual awareness sessions with parents/carers and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the ongoing improvement and success of the programme.
To succeed, you’ll need a professional qualification in health/social/youth and community care, or experience of working in the addictions field, plus a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent. The Sefton Dementia Support Service provides a highly responsive and individualised information, signposting and referral service to people affected by dementia.

About the role
Location: Community based in Cambridge City, with some homeworking elements. Travel throughout Cambridgeshire may be required.
As a Dementia Adviser, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide support, information, and guidance to people with dementia and their carers; helping to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives. The service is unique to each service user as it is based upon their personal circumstances and support needs. You will offer support to your clients in a variety of ways, whether in at a GP surgery , in the client's own home, or at other locations in the community, face to face, by phone, letter, or email. You will also assist service users to access other services, providing signposting and referrals.
This role will require you to build relationships with a range of local contacts. You will network with health and care professionals, marketing Alzheimer’s Society services to help people with a diagnosis to get referred to the service as early as possible. As well as developing networks with partner organisations to promote the aim of empowering individuals living with dementia to make informed choices.
About you
We are hoping to welcome a Community Dementia Adviser to work in the Cambridgeshire Team working in Cambridge City, with the possibility of travel required to other areas in Cambridgeshire

We are looking for
- Working experience of assessing people face to face with an ability to assess their needs.
- Deliver advice and guidance with a non-judgmental approach and outstanding communication skills.

- Be able to travel independently across Cambridgeshire
- An understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers would be an advantage but if you have had experience supporting with other challenges this would be taken into consideration.

Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge is seeking to appoint a Development Manager to lead the College’s regular giving and young alumni programmes. This is an exciting time to be joining Sidney and support the new senior leadership team’s ambitious plans for the future of the College and its students.
Development Manager
Location: Cambridge, CB2 3HU
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £32,332 to £44,263 pa (depending on experience)
Working with the Development Director, the Development Manager will be responsible for all aspects of our regular giving and young alumni programme:
- Lead a sustainable and effective regular giving programme and increase participation across all year groups through campaigns such as Telethons and Giving Days, sourcing and securing match gifts as needed.
- Face to face fundraising and donor engagement of our small to mid-level donors; cultivating and raising gifts between £1,000 - £10,000 from alumni and friends, managing a pipeline of prospects and building relationships with existing and new prospects.
- Continue developing a student and young alumni programme that offers opportunities for networking and mentoring and encouraging fundraising participation among recent graduates.
Creative, impactful and results driven, this is an exciting opportunity for a talented project manager with an exemplary track record in a fundraising, marketing/communications, or sales. This post will also suit someone who enjoys building relationships and working in a small team, while collaborating across departments, collegiate Cambridge and the University.

Role Overview:
As the Operations Manager at WeSwim, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our programs and services.
