About the role
We are looking for a Consultant to join Good Faith, with a particular focus on our work in Bristol and the West of England. This is an opportunity to contribute to projects that strengthen communities, build connections between people and support positive social change.
Working alongside colleagues and partners across local politics, civil society, business and faith communities, you will help deliver projects focused on social cohesion, community connection, faith engagement and welcoming newcomers. The role is varied and will involve research, stakeholder engagement, project coordination and client delivery. You will support senior colleagues, take ownership of elements of project delivery and build relationships with a diverse range of organisations and communities.
While your main focus will be Bristol and the surrounding region, you'll also contribute to wider projects with a national scope.
About you
We're looking for someone with experience of supporting and delivering projects, who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and perspectives. You will be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will also be proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking responsibility for your work, while also being a supportive and collaborative team member. Experience of working with diverse communities, faith based organisations or the voluntary sector, ideally in Bristol, will be particularly relevant.
Working arrangements
The role is primarily based in our Bristol office, near the Hippodrome, with flexibility to work remotely. You will need to work from the Bristol office for a minimum of two days per week, and you must also be able to travel to Bristol and Reading once a month for team meetings. Travel expenses for these meetings will be covered.
We are supportive of flexible working and happy to discuss different working patterns.
