As Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will: 

• Identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partnerships at five and six figure level
• Secure new corporate partnerships including corporate foundations, Charity of the Year, cause related marketing and strategic partnerships
• Be a senior brand ambassador for the charity, engaging and developing effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Build a robust pipeline of partnerships opportunities

The role

The Corporate and Individual Giving Manager is responsible for generating sustainable income by identifying, engaging with, and securing funding through individuals and corporate donor relationships.

Establishing sustainable fundraising streams is a top priority for the centre. This role will play a crucial part in strengthening our strategy for Individual and Corporate Giving, with a keen focus on continuous growth. We're looking for a temporary Face-to-Face (F2F) Manager in the North and East region. This is a fantastic opportunity within the RNLI to play a vital role in developing and growing the RNLI in-house F2F Fundraising team.

This role will be required to manage a team of face-to-face fundraisers who will sign up regular supporters within a defined geographical area and raise vital long-term funding for the charity. This will include opportunities to work alongside other specialist teams including our volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards, playing an integral part in reaching both local and team income targets and contributing towards the wider objectives of the RNLI.

Your role

As a F2F Manager you will:

• Recruit, train and performance manage a team of motivated F2F Fundraisers.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of fundraising locations in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Cleveland and Yorkshire areas.
• Measure performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) i.e. targets and budget.

Working at the frontline of our fundraising activities, you’ll have excellent communication skills, people management capabilities, proven track record of working to targets and a passion to manage a team who engage with the beach-going public and event visitors to get their commitment for regular support for the cause.

You’ll be an effective team player with a pragmatic and solution focussed approach to problem solving and a calm approach to a busy workload. You’ll be positive, confident, determined, resilient, with very strong communication skills and naturally outgoing.

You’ll be a self-starter who can lead an energetic and innovative team to success. Able to adhere to codes of conduct, policies and be Fundraising Regulator compliant in all that you do and deliver. You’ll be flexible and prepared to work out of office hours with considerable travel throughout the year, peaking through the summer months. Substantial annual leave during the summer would not be practical for this role.

To be considered as the F2F Manager (North East), you will need:

• Proven experience and success in face-to-face fundraising. This will either have been gained working for a charity or a fundraising agency.
• Evidence of managing and motivating a team of paid staff or volunteers to achieve goals/targets.
• Excellent communication skills and teamworking ethos.
• Self-motivation and ability to create and prioritise own workload.

You will be responsible for cultivating a portfolio of prospects and donors through a range of engagement, to gain their financial support for programmes, projects and the wider RSPB. What's the role about?

• Look after your own portfolio of donors as well as reaching out to prospects and new donors. • Be jointly responsible for the planning, writing, production and mailing of Philanthropy Matters, our publication aimed at philanthropic supporters.
• Build effective relationships both within the RSPB and external to it that will enhance its reputation and ultimately secure funding. This includes understanding donors’ wishes and aspirations and identifying links with approved priority projects with the aim of securing substantial gifts.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Intermediate levels of fundraising as demonstrated by work successes and recognised fundraising courses
• Experience in how to research and cultivate a prospect. And understanding of how to write a cultivation strategy
• Ability to write funding proposals and prepare briefing documents in advance of meetings and events
• Competent in the use of a CRM system (Salesforce), the Microsoft suite, other databases, research tools and methods
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members, and people and teams outside of our department

The HALO Trust are looking for an experienced and driven Philanthropy and Grants Manager to lead and develop high value relationships with philanthropic donors, with a focus on Trust and Foundations (and potentially corporates). 

The Global Philanthropy Team works to secure support for the delivery of vital projects to save lives and protect livelihoods in conflict affected countries around the world, as well as build organisational resilience and support innovative areas of work.  HALO’s philanthropic income has grown significantly in recent years, driven by introductions from our network of trustees, ambassadors and advocates and our focus on strategic and transformational partnerships. We are a small team of highly skilled, experienced and driven fundraisers with a collaborative team culture. The team is supported by a Philanthropy Operations Manager, Philanthropy Assistant and Global Philanthropy Research and Insight Lead (who leads on research and due diligence). In 2024 a Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships for the Middle East will join our team to lead relationship development in this key market. 

You will join a fast-paced, fluid and entrepreneurial context, responding to opportunities while laying the critical foundations for strategic growth.

About the role:

The HALO Trust has more than doubled in size over the last eight years by growing support from both Governments and philanthropic donors.  Global income from philanthropic donors (including the US) has significantly increased over the past five years – from circa £4 million to £15 million in 2022/23 and reaching a further peak of £44 million in 2023/24 in response to exceptional donor support for Ukraine. Unpinning this is growth in six and seven figure partnerships with major donors, corporates and foundations, initiated by our exceptionally well-connected network of trustees and ambassadors - and nurtured by our committed and professional global philanthropy team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead growth within a portfolio of high value (six and potentially seven figure) relationships by providing excellence in supporter stewardship and through the development and delivery of relationship strategies, in collaboration with the Director of Philanthropy and Head of Global Grant Partnerships

• Experience of building effective relationships with advocates linked to philanthropic donors
• An excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships with staff and colleagues in different cultural environments
• Outstanding written skills with the ability to work with programme and finance colleagues to design robust project proposals, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation
• Confident in working with financial information including project budgets
• Excellent written and verbal skills with strong attention to detail
• Outstanding interpersonal skills including ability to demonstrate tact, sophistication and gravitas 
• Experience of working with a fundraising database to maximise relationship development

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individuals to join our fundraising team as a Supporter Engagement Officer. In this role, you will play a vital role in building and growing relationships with our individual donors and managing digital campaigns and challenge events to help the team raise as much funding as possible to support people experiencing homelessness across London.

About the role:

As the Supporter Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for the stewardship of new and existing donors to becoming regular Single Homeless Project supporters. Working closely with the Supporter Engagement Lead and alongside the fundraising team, you will contribute towards the delivery of achieving SHP's overarching vision of a society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life.

In your role, you will be responsible for building and delivering a successful supporter engagement campaigns focusing on:

• Building and growing relationships with our fantastic supporters throughout their journey with Single Homeless Project.
• Supporting with the management and delivery of a portfolio of fundraising events.
• Developing and delivering engaging digital campaigns and content through our online portfolio of products and emergency appeals.
• Working with internal SHP departments to create new concepts for supporter engagement.
• Stewarding new and existing donors to become regular supporters of Single Homeless Project.

Please note the role will follow a hybrid working model, with two days working in our head office in Kings Cross and 3 days WFH.

About you: 

• Highly numerate and attentive to detail, with strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically. 
• Entrepreneurial, results-driven and able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team, meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Experience of working on digital campaigns and understanding of PPC advertising.
• Experience working with other internal departments to maximise collaboration and impact between the teams.

The Individual Giving Manager in the Mass Fundraising team will work closely with the Senior Individual Giving Manager and Mass Lead to develop the programme across membership, lottery, raffle and digital fundraising.

As Individual Giving Manager you will:  

• Lead on the RNID weekly lottery, which this year will be launching private site face to face recruitment
• Manage our two annual raffles
• Support the Senior Individual Manager with the review of our Membership programme and deliver the recommendations
• Support the Senior Individual Giving Manager and Mass Lead to set budgets and conduct regular reforecasting of your area

You will be an experienced Individual Giving fundraiser with a strong track record of marketing and generating income. You will have excellent project management skills and enjoy working across teams to meet shared goals and objectives.

You’ll work closely with the Marcomms team on marketing plans and concepts that will inspire donors to give and stay to our case, allowing us to grow a sustainable programme. You will use evidence and insight to deliver an audience led programme, driven by a test and learn culture. You will create, test and iterate new products and be comfortable in developing audience profiles and propositions to support these products. You will have experience in managing supporter data to ensure compliance and maximise effectiveness of our campaigns.

Background:

Central London Samaritans (CLS) is the largest of Samaritans’ 201 branches.

Based in the heart of Soho (*), 450 volunteers deliver the Samaritans service round the clock, every day of the year providing support for anyone struggling to cope. Our core objective is to deliver services that support the Samaritans vision that fewer people will die by suicide. Assisted by a small staff team, volunteers manage over 100,000 contacts a year of which, pre-pandemic, 4,500 were face to face visits.

As well as delivering services in our Marshall Street centre, we also work in the community across seven London boroughs. From providing emotional support for London’s homeless, to running peer-to-peer listener programmes at Brixton prison, and delivering talks and workshops to schools and workplaces, we pride ourselves on the support we give to our community. Our volunteers also offer emotional support following any form of crisis affecting Londoners, such as the London Bridge attacks and the Grenfell Tower fire.

 

Role description:

Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the community events fundraising plans and activities. You will be managing a select number of events, along with engaging with the community and businesses to develop and implement plans for maximising income and support from individuals, groups and businesses.

 

Main responsibilities:

• Manage branch Community and Events, taking a lead for specific awareness events and fundraising events or activities.
• Organise events, including liaison with venues, suppliers, monitoring expenditure, volunteers and participants and ensure all preparation is complete.
• Ensure an excellent level of supporter care and stewardship with supporters is maintained and developed.
• Provide regular reports and information about activities, supporters and volunteers.

• Previous experience working in fundraising in either a community, challenge or mass participant event capacity.

· Manage our external communications, including our website, Mailchimp newsletters and Twitter account.

Hours of work and Location:

The basic hours are 28 hours per week spread over four working days. Within these hours there may be need to work some evenings and weekend days depending on when events happen, so flexibility is essential. The core responsibilities should be carried out during weekdays.

The amount of out of hours work will be agreed on an ongoing basis.

Time off in lieu will be allowed in agreement with the Head of Branch Operations and in line with the staff handbook and the European Working Time Directive.

(*) - At present, the branch office is located in Soho but Central London Samaritans, as an organization, will be moving location to a new site in Marylebone in early 2025. We are disclosing this now as the successful candidate would be expected to move with us when the branch office is rebased, so please do take note of this.
