Senior Public Fundraising Manager
After the devastating blow of a spinal injury, the future can seem bleak. Horatio’s Garden creates and runs beautiful vibrant gardens outside the sterility of NHS spinal injury centres. Places where you can begin to find connection, enjoyment and peace. We are here to open up the possibility that despite everything life can go on.
Our brilliant team of fundraisers have flown over the past 5 years, growing income and creating a fantastic programme of activity that offers many ways for people to support the charity.
We want to add another exceptional person to our team. You will be excited by the challenge of growing our mass participation portfolio and adding new ideas alongside building our regular giving community which has doubled over the last 3 years.
What we need from you
-
The drive and determination needed to make our mass participation events even more exciting. Please bring creativity, energy, an understanding of what motivates people to fundraise and a detailed approach to planning to create a programme of events that people want to be part of (with an excellent ROI!).
-
The ambition to take our regular giving programme from great to exceptional. Our Friends community is growing and we need you to lead it with a unique voice and a ‘people first’ and creative approach to engaging existing and new Friends.
-
Someone with fantastic experience in leading charity events, community fundraising or regular giving and a commitment to learning about a new area of fundraising if your experience doesn’t quite cover everything we need.
What you get from us
-
The freedom, flexibility and encouragement to grow your area of fundraising into something truly outstanding.
-
A positive, openminded, enthusiastic, experienced & friendly team.
-
A beautiful office space overlooking the countryside with regular visits to our stunning gardens across the UK and the flexibility to work from home or other locations regularly.
