About the role:
We have a new opportunity for a highly organised individual to join our Housing Services Team, as a Housing Services & Income Administrator. With proven skills and experience of using IT and databases related to administrative tasks such as producing letters and reports with a clear focus on organisation skills, you will play an essential role with supporting the Housing Services team and Manager, and our supported accommodation teams.
In your role, you will be responsible for
- Maximising rental income and minimising loss through bad debts through efficient application SHP Procedures.
- Supporting the housing services team, and accommodation services teams to ensure that clients receive timely rent statement and letters.
- Maintaining effective management of accurate rent income records.
- Collating performance returns against KPI’s and provider monitoring returns.
The role will also require supporting the Senior Housing Services and Income Officers in dealing with repairs and building related matters, anti-social behaviour, complaints and neighbourhood disputes.
We are currently operating a blended working arrangement, that includes working from our Head Office in Kings Cross for a minimum of 3 days per week, as well as flexible occasional travel to our accommodation services across London. There is also some potential for home working, in agreement with the Head of Property Services.
The weekly working hours are 37.5 hrs, to be completed between 9am-5pm Mon- Fri, with occasional need to work outside of these times in the event of an emergency.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

About the role
The Housing First Team at Crisis offers open-ended, flexible, and intensive support to people who are multiply disadvantaged. As a Team Leader, you will take a person-led, holistic, and trauma-informed approach to the support of members and provide effective line management to Housing First coaches in line with Housing First principles. Encompass are excited to be partnering with North Northamptonshire Council to open a new Supported Accommodation Project in Corby. This Project will offer supported accommodation to those experiencing homelessness and have multiple complex needs. The project will provide a safe, secure environment where residents can thrive, achieve positive outcomes, recover from their experience of homelessness and transition into sustainable housing. We work in a person centred, strengths based and trauma informed way in all that we do.
This is a new role within the Encompass team and will be key in providing holistic, intensive support to residents and developing trusting relationships with a challenging clientele. You will have responsibility for case management with a number of residents, completing needs assessments, overseeing progress and delivering tailored support as they address barriers. You will need to be able to constructively challenge residents, make difficult decisions and be proactive in engaging residents in the support we provide.
Our residents consist of those experiencing Multiple Exclusion Homelessness and require intensive support. They are individuals with high complex support needs, including entrenched rough sleepers, individuals with a drug/alcohol dependence, those suffering from mental ill health, those with physical disabilities, rough sleepers with no resource to public funds or ex-offenders or individuals at risk of offending. You will possess a skill set which enables you to deliver tailored long term support to these residents, leading them to identify and address the barriers they face. Your background could be in Mental Health, Addiction, Housing, working with offenders or other relevant support services.
You will work with the wider staff team to deliver a quality housing service and support residents to transform their lives. The role will also work closely with the council housing options team, to move individuals into permanent accommodation. It may involve continuing to support an individual for a set period after they have left the project, to ensure they maintain their future tenancy.

The role

You will be working across Brighton and Hove as well as Worthing to support the static night worker during the night as well as undertaking your mobile duties.
Working on site you will be responsible for ensuring the service is safe by keeping clear records of night time activity within the building. You will regularly complete building checks and monitor CCTV upkeeping health and safety regulations in accordance with YMCA DLG's policies and procedures. You will work to prevent any anti-social behaviour from impacting our neighbours and other residents. You will work alongside other support staff to maximise the wellbeing of residents by completing one to one interventions with young people who may be experiencing mental health crisis and/or who may need medical assistance.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Manager to join us managing our Crawley Foyer service. Crawley Foyer provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16 - 25 at risk of homelessness, staffed 24 hours a day providing a safe and encouraging environment for residents. In addition, our Youth Advice Centre is located adjacent to the Foyer which enables us to offer a range of services to young people living in the Foyer and in the wider community.
The focus of the work is to engage creatively with young people to identify, map and encourage growth of their strengths and talents as they develop into a sustainable and independent adulthood. As a Supported Housing Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations, providing a high quality, safe, welcoming and secure supported housing accommodation for young people at risk whilst leading and developing the team. In delivering the role, you will be responsible for:
-- Service Provision: Responsible for the daily operations of the service so that it meets the requirements of the service specification, and:
- reflects Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices
- identifies, maps and encourages the strengths and talents of each young person, enabling them to acquire the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives
-- Leadership and People Management: Lead and manage a team, recruiting and inducting new staff, and supporting their performance to ensure high standards of service at all times
-- Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organisations that add value to the core, commissioned service (or have the potential to) attending relevant multi-disciplinary meetings as needed
-- General: Be a member of the ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality

You will already have experience of leading supported housing services, with proven experience in safeguarding in a supported housing environment. You will have a sound knowledge of the additional risks incurred by children and young people who have multiple, and complex needs due to their experiences and knowledge of trauma informed practice and how to create psychologically informed environments. In addition, you will be flexible, with the ability to work under pressure, multi-tasking and dealing with competing priorities.

ROTA are seeking an experienced Service Development Manager, to join its team. Help us end systemic racism in Britain!
This role spearheads the development and execution of a strategic plan to dismantle systemic racism within the housing systems, ultimately leading to greater housing equity for Black and Global Majority (BGM) communities.
The position will encompass a multifaceted approach, focusing on Policy & Advocacy, Community Collaboration & Empowerment, and Service Delivery Innovation.
The aim of ROTA’s housing project, funded by the Oak Foundation, is to examine the racial inequities that continue to plague the housing sector. Using a community-based peer research approach, we will put the lived experiences of Black and Global Majority communities who have been affected by insecure housing at the heart of this research, amplifying their voices through dedicated campaigning and advocacy.
We ultimately hope that the findings from this research can be used to formulate meaningful policy and influence practice to help end discriminatory practices in the housing sector.

· Provide practical and emotional support, advice, information and advocacy to migrants living in Newport. Working towards the goal of preventing homelessness, increasing connections in the local community and securing appropriate accommodation
· To liaise with a range of professionals and organisations to maximise resources for the client.
