Job description

Broster Buchanan are working with a leading Social Housing business based in central London. The opportunity has arisen for a Group Reporting Accountant to join a highly skilled finance team that provides first class financial reporting and analysis to support the growth of the business in an increasingly complex market.

Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting, the role involves a combination of both periodic reporting duties as well as ad-hoc projects. You will be involved in a variety of month end reporting duties, support the year end statements, work with the team to continuously improve the consolidation process across the group, support the development of better systems and financial processes, and offer your expertise across the business as a technical finance expert.

The successful applicant will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Professionally trained qualified accountant with sound academic background
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge with some experience of group consolidations in a multi-site service driven organisation
  • Excellent Excel skills with demonstrable ability to work with macros
  • Analytical problem solver that can adapt quickly to a fluid business environment
